Thermal power plants instead of bridges: how Ukraine will winter

Energy instead of logistics

Probably only the laziest did not speak about the need to destroy bridges across the Dnieper. The idea actually looks good - to divide Ukraine into two parts by an irresistible water artery. This should have slowed down, and perhaps even blocked the transfer of NATO aid to the West. Only now they forget two things that, fortunately, they remember and understand in the Russian General Staff. First, the Bandera bridges can only be bombed with heavy, preferably concrete-piercing, bombs.

Antonovsky and Crimean bridges became infamous and demonstrative. The first nationalists have been ironing HIMARS all summer, and it still has not lost its final structural integrity. Although, of course, it is waiting for a major overhaul and is currently impassable. The second example - two spans of the Crimean bridge, which was blown up by Kyiv terrorists, required several hundred kilograms of explosives, if not tons.

The carrying capacity of the tractor that exploded on the bridge is about twenty tons. Therefore, each bridge on the Dnieper will require several dozen bombs even with jewelry bombing. Unless, of course, we are talking about the total collapse of the spans, so that it takes months to restore. But there is one snag here - the air defense of Ukraine, which has not yet been suppressed. They work so-so against cruise missiles, which clearly illustrates recent events, but they will be much more successful at hitting large and well-marked Su and Tu aircraft.

Are we ready to kill half, or even more, of the VKS grouping in the region for the sake of the bridge economy? The answer, I think, is obvious. Therefore, it is possible to destroy each single bridge only with dozens of high-precision Calibers and Iskanders.

In total, the elimination of the Dnieper bridges will require several hundred expensive missiles. Not the best deal, I must say.

The second factor that the adherents of the total destruction of bridges forget about is the engineering troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The military, with the help of NATO sponsors, will establish logistics through the Dnieper in a couple of weeks, if not days. First, on pontoons and floating crossings, and then a railway line will be transferred where space allows.

Based on the combination of the factors described above, the most correct solution in the current situation was the destruction, albeit partial, of Ukraine's energy infrastructure. Except, of course, the physical elimination of the Kyiv regime. In the meantime, as part of retaliation for the Crimean bridge and other terrorist attacks, the Ukrainian generation of heat and electricity has come under attack.

As a result, partial power outages were reported in almost all regions of Ukraine. On October 10–11, at least 10 percent of heat generation facilities and XNUMX percent of electricity generation facilities were hit. For example, four substations were destroyed in Lvov, the repair of which will take several months. That is, by the winter in the city there will be power outages. To some over-the-top humanist, this may seem inhuman. It suffices to recall here that before October XNUMX, Ukraine managed to trade electricity with Europe.

This is taking into account the loss of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, which annually produced up to 37 billion kilowatt-hours. An excess of electricity was formed for a reason - since the beginning of the special operation, up to 4,2 million civilians have gone to Europe. In addition, enterprises stopped, which resulted in a decrease in consumption by 30 percent. That is, according to the most rough estimates, Russian missiles did not even partially knock out the excess electricity generation, which was formed at the beginning of October.

There is no question of any beating of civilians in this case - Russia simply knocked out a source of income from Zelensky's hands. Until the end of the year, the President of Ukraine was counting on an additional 10-15 billion hryvnias - in Europe, now there are very tasty prices for kilowatts. Now the sale of electricity from Ukraine has stopped - at least until the thermal power plant and thermal power plant are repaired. The surviving critically important energy centers also speak in favor of the jewelry work of the Russian army.

They hit substations with a voltage of 330 kW, which is unpleasant, but not fatal. The cascade of Dnieper hydroelectric power stations and substations in the west of Ukraine for 750 kW remained intact. So far, individual switchgears of nuclear power plants - Rivne, Khmelnitsky and Yuzhnourkrainsk - have not been touched by missiles. The Armed Forces of Ukraine, for example, did not regret similar facilities of the Zaporizhzhya NPP in the summer.

In general, despite the effectiveness of missile strikes, there is no question of any tragedy for the civilian population. At least for now.

Winter is coming soon

The October strikes against Ukraine are more of a warning than an instrument of total chaos. The energy system of the enemy has been shaken, but for some regions it will be enough just to increase the generation of electricity at nuclear power plants. The unified energy network has been preserved for the time being, which will make it possible to quickly transfer electricity from one direction to another.

The Kyiv regime was given to understand that intractability and terrorist attacks would have to be paid. If strikes of such efficiency continue, then the energy system will turn into separate islands on the map, and then completely melt. And this is all on the eve of the most difficult in the newest stories Ukrainian winter.

Source: youtube.com

Zelensky was counting on the extra electricity he sold to the West. Millions of euros were to be used to purchase fuel and repair work. Now the contracts will have to be torn up, and there are much more repairs. Even before the Crimean bridge was blown up, he said to his "hulks":

"We won't have enough electricity to heat our homes, and that time is coming."

Well, Zelensky has accelerated the arrival of winter a little more by sending several tons of explosives to the Crimea. You were warned, by God. Now, when the energy grid of Ukraine is stretched like a string, the Kyiv regime simply has no capacity reserves.

How much colder will it get in the houses if Zelensky and his pack decide to test the Kremlin again? As always, in the best traditions of the terrorist community.

There is also natural gas. However, its value is becoming more and more ephemeral. It is possible to buy gas for two or three winters in advance, but with fire torches broken at the thermal power plant, it is only possible to bring global warming closer. Ukraine, with serviceable thermal power plants, needed up to 19 billion cubic meters of blue fuel for the winter.

So far, only 14 billion have been collected. The Kyiv regime does not intend to save money for the most loyal residents of the west of the country and the capital. Barely warm batteries will be in the east and south of Ukraine. This will inevitably lead to winter migration of the remaining population to the center and west of the country. People will just go where it's warmer. Which, on the one hand, will seriously reduce the mobilization resource in the territories, and on the other hand, will not allow nationalists to hide behind civilians.

And now let's imagine what kind of humanitarian crisis the destroyed bridges across the Dnieper would cause in this situation. Millions of people would be isolated in the cold in the company of tens of thousands of armed Bandera. A terrible picture, no doubt. Zelensky, without a shadow of a doubt, would have sacrificed his citizens for the sake of a beautiful tragedy for the amusement of the Western public. Russia cannot afford this, especially on the eve of winter.

Until Russia gathers forces of at least 1.5 million people at the front, then it is pointless to talk about what prospects are, the maximum is to keep what we have now, and then this will already be a great miracle.

To fight taking into account the inconvenience of the civilian population is to be defeated in the war. Ukrainians thrash the civilian population and go from victory to victory. It is necessary to bring inconvenience to the civilian population anyway, despite the fact that it is the residents of Donbass who are experiencing enormous hardships, so why start?

Well, this is all pellets for the elephant, while the rear is working in the West, the Armed Forces of Ukraine can generally fight without electricity on the territory of Ukraine, I repeat, remember the besieged Leningrad. Rocket strikes do not stop the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and also will not help our troops advance until a million-strong strike group is formed, you look at the successes, and eight months to capture Avdiivka, okay, capture, they could not even suppress artillery there in eight months.

A very large pellet. The West will have to significantly increase the supply of everything and everyone, and the transport infrastructure is not rubber, especially if the Odessa port is destroyed. The West knows how to count money and it does not smile at all to fully support 40 lyam ukrov and all.
The besieged Leningrad and the whole country are not comparable in scale, and besides, the modern Ukrainian and the Soviet Leningrader are not the same. 1 million will immediately rush to the borders.
At the tactical level, it will not help here and now, but in three months, when the economy will sit on diesel, it will even help a lot.
The destruction of the power system is the first step, the second is the destruction of the transport infrastructure, the 3rd headquarters. And of course, in parallel, the formation of a millionth group

It will affect the APU as well !!! Because those who oppose them will not have such a problem. Starting from charging tapiks and copters and ending with heating their tukhes. They will be at their disposal to chase after a charge from a diesel engine, which will increase the capabilities of our intelligence. Yes, and diesel is knocked out once or twice, the need for it increases many times and logistics becomes much more difficult. Again, diesel and fuel oil will have to pull all the delights from Europe.
As for Leningrad. He did not become Sevastopol only due to the lack of desire among the Germans.

Apparently there are saboteurs in the General Staff or they inadequately understand the strength of the Ukrainian economy, the military-industrial complex and the Armed Forces of Ukraine. With the strengthening of Ukrainian air defense, strikes on the Ukrainian energy system will become much more difficult. In addition, Iranian drones are not designed to operate in low temperatures.

About 140 rockets and drones were fired at various civilian structures, 30-32 objects were hit.
      The results of these strikes:
      1. In the near future, Ukraine will receive new, even larger supplies of weapons. First of all, air defense / missile defense systems, which were not planned. Which will greatly strengthen them.
      2. The "peace" party in the West has gone silent. Talk of negotiations is irrelevant for the next few months.
      3. A monthly (or even two-month) stock of missiles of the Russian Federation was spent on civilian objects. Warehouses, headquarters, air defense systems, etc. will not be destroyed by them. Threats to the military have decreased.
      4. The Ukrainian authorities received another carte blanche for any action, the troops received additional motivation.
      5. We got time to deploy new air defense / missile defense systems before the real cold weather. As soon as the infrastructure is restored. The same blow in December would have been catastrophic. Now he has only caused trouble. Naturally, by the winter they will effectively protect these objects and it will not work again.

What did Russia get? Nothing. Another PR action for the "cheers for the patriots." There was a hysterical reaction of the authorities to the blowing up of the Crimean bridge, which wanted to get the authorities of Ukraine.

Well, one direction will be closed for Kyiv, and it’s not a fact that this air defense system will be effective against missiles. It is definitely useless against Daggers and Iskander.

They don't even get to the bottom of what's going on.
In fact, such strikes simply CRUSH our defense capability.

Why ? Yes, because thousands of missiles were shot in almost 8 months, a stock of which was created for decades and kept in case of a war with NATO.
Including carriers of aviation strategic and tactical nuclear weapons were again kept in case of war with NATO.

Thus, Russia simply will not have such important carriers. They will probably keep several dozen Iskanders capable of carrying special warheads and that's it.

How many "workhorses" of the VKS did we have, which were the Su-25SM, Ka-52 and Su-34?
Well, about a little more than a hundred in each case.
So, in each of the cases, their losses can already reach 18-20% of the total.
But this is not the main thing.
The main thing is that most of this equipment has been flying for several hours every day since the beginning of the NWO. Here.
And what is the resource for engines, for example? Well, an average of 800 hours.
That is, by the end of the year they will start to get laid up for this reason.
And how will air support be provided for 300 thousand mobilized?

So do not forget that the Kh-55 and Kh-101 missiles were used. And they've been building up for a long time.
This is the basis of the weapons of the Strategic Aviation.
Their stock has dried up considerably, and the possibilities of production are limited.
To make, for example, a radio altimeter for one missile, components from dozens of factories both in Russia and abroad are needed.
And some of them are either under sanctions or use imported equipment in production, and sooner or later the difficulties will make themselves felt.
Then, each flight of the Tu-160, Tu-22M3 and Tu-95MS, even for several hours several times a week, knocks out the rest of the precious resource from the aircraft, since the last two are generally 35-40 years old and nothing is produced for them, including engines.

              And I don't forget...

But the "long-range" missiles of Long-range air-to-surface aviation, produced back in Soviet times, have a GUARANTEED service life. And even those that were produced in 1990 (when at least "something" still worked) are already 32 years old. And the most reasonable and effective way to dispose of them at the present time is not to "save for a rainy day"), but to use it to destroy the Kyiv Nazis and critical infrastructure in the territory still under their control. In addition, neither you nor I we don’t know what the real arsenals of such weapons are at the disposal of the DA and how quickly their consumption is replenished ...

In addition, let's not forget that the BASIS of Russia's military security is the Strategic Missile Forces with the strategic nuclear forces of the Russian Armed Forces. Namely, the Strategic Missile Forces, according to the results of the GWP-2020, are being modernized and replenished perfectly and massively ...

And if YES, hypothetically, "dries up" long-range missiles, and "someone" decides to REALLY "take advantage" of this for strikes against Russia and its allies, he and all his tobacco, the Strategic Missile Forces will quite CLEARLY and PROMPTLY, GUARANTEED answer .. .

Does Putin need a repetition of such a fate both with his family and with missiles? 1. Air defense deliveries were already planned. Russia is using a window of opportunity to destroy infrastructure.
        2. The Peace Party in the Russian Federation has also subsided, the policy of half-measures has ended. This is the path to victory.
        3. Threats to the Armed Forces of Ukraine just increased. Electricity shortage leads to disruption of many information systems and fuel shortages. I'm sure you have no idea what stock of missiles the Russian Federation has.
        4. Just the Russian Federation received carte blanche, since in the West this is interpreted as a response for the terrorist attacks staged by the Ukrainians.
        5. The whole world saw how the Russian Federation can destroy the country's infrastructure in two days. This is a strengthening of the negotiating position of the Russian Federation

Kyiv receives energy, including through 750 kV networks from the Khmelnitsky and Rivne nuclear power plants.
And in order to cut down these networks, it is necessary to hit the outdoor switchgear at nuclear power plants, which, for obvious reasons, no one will do - the West will howl to the whole world and introduce a zone closed for flights over Ukraine.

To be honest, all these excuses about the "impossibility" of destroying bridges are tired. Well, they don't just set such a task. Why is another question. And it is not at all necessary to destroy them with aircraft or cruise missiles. Read about the experience of the "rail war". And so far we have special forces of the Airborne Forces on the front line like ordinary infantry. Hammers nails with a microscope.

I was also so angry at first. However, they have a lot of air defense, they can’t break through with concrete-breaking planes. Missiles? There is no charge. But 750kV substations are the right move. And the fact that at first 330kV is also the right move. Then a smaller amount of 750x will need to be hammered in order for everything to crumble. Now the queue should be behind the railway depot. This is not only the repair, maintenance and refueling of diesel locomotives. It's also a junction. Electric locomotives are laid up, a diesel locomotive is not a truck - you can’t turn around on the tracks.

But we were told a lot about the type of fantastic SVP-24 "Hephaestus" ... They say - they put an ordinary bomb right on the bald head .. Is it possible to conduct an air operation on such an occasion? Something like saturating the enemy's air defense with massive decoys, immediate shooting of the identified points, and - a bomber strike. I think - from a concrete-piercing three-tonner laid like this on target - any bridge will get worse .. Not to mention large ammunition. Yes, and no one canceled the laser-guided KAB .. Or can we not send it to the DRG bridge to illuminate it with a laser?

Is there a risk of losing the plane? What more! Is there a war without losses? And is it worth the loss of, say, even five bombers - dozens of pieces of equipment burned by Western weapons, hundreds of our fighters ditched by the Western artel and MLRS? For some reason I think it's worth it..

For that, judging by the minuses - true!
In our distant youth, we had a joke:
"The Lord gave us two things to use:
          - Head to think with,
          - Tales to sit with.
The war depends on what we choose:
          -Heads we win:
          - Tails we loose.
          Translated means:
The Lord gave us a choice:
          - head to think;
          - ass to sit on.
          War depends on our choice:
          - eagle - we win;
          - tails - we lose.
Therefore, it is necessary to choose between an agreement (in the options we spare the fraternal people, we are afraid to touch the interests of international capital, without attacking we protect the lives of soldiers (both our own and others), we are always ready for honest negotiations (and there will still be compromises) and. etc. - in short, Shame, and then War. Or, having accumulated a sufficient grouping, we inflict a decisive blow that paralyzes the enemy, which our mobile forces develop, sweeping away the remaining pockets of resistance, those who did not raise their hands are the enemy. As a result, complete occupation and denazification Ukraine and the decision of its fate by the victorious Russia.

If they are not destroyed, then the bridge can be restored in a week. It is also clear that military preparations are escalating. According to past fantasies, there might not have been a war. They turned on magnetic waves and paralyzed all the enemy’s equipment. The word “logistics” is used like any movement. Although this fully applies only to commodity affairs. The United States fought in Vietnam for 9 years, with absolute superiority at sea, complete superiority in the air and significant superiority on land. The economies of the United States and Vietnam - there is nothing to compare at all. But the United States failed to win, the United States was unable to overcome the stalemate, which was caused by the fact that the United States was unable to block all routes for the supply of weapons and equipment to Vietnam from the USSR and China. And the Americans had to go home. Having lost 50 thousand killed - about 4500 annually. So TPP is good, excellent, but not enough. That is, forget about regular, for example, railway communication - at any moment a train can stop on the stage, that is, instead of supplying the Armed Forces of Ukraine with shells or reinforcements there ... There is a target in an open field.

If you drop the roof of the turbine hall on the turbogenerators - Khan to all equipment. From a sharp stop of rotation, the rotor will bend and destroy both the blade apparatus and the turbine housings. And in order to bring down the roof of the turbine hall, a powerful shock wave of a high-altitude explosion is needed. There, by the way, the boiler shop with the deaerator shelf will collapse. But the reactor in a containment shell will stand, though the question is how emergency cooling will be provided.
The question is, what are we going to destroy - the bridge or the turbine hall?

If there is such an explosion, one frame will remain, the plates are liquidly fixed there, both from the side and from the top. It is calculated that in the event of an accident, the structures will suffer and the equipment is more or less intact. I saw what happens with the wall about the cotton of the 13ata pipe, two plates were simply blown away and all the glazing. What do we have here? Our song is good, start over. The endless mournful mantra of Kremlinbots about winter and freezing. Even Fedorov, in between times, managed to feel sorry for the hkhlov (how poor they will be without bridges). Accordingly, Fedorov does not feel sorry for our soldiers. But I took care of the number of Calibers .... That is. it’s not a pity to spend dozens of rockets on sheds with three hkhla, but it’s a pity for a bridge. But the point is not the number of calibers, there will be no bridges, how can thieves like the Abramovichs earn a few more millions - this is sacred for Kremlinbots.
Again, the leader yesterday told the Russians in plain language that they don’t care about the billions buried in the ground for northern streams, we have a new fix idea - a Turkish hub !!!! Not counter, but about: Maybe comrade majors, "woolly" social networks about enemies and / or smart thoughts, will send a piece of paper upstairs? Water, after all, sharpens a stone ...

On the border with Poland, Ukraine has only four railway crossing points - these are Yagodin (Volyn region) - Dorohusk (Poland), Izov (Volyn region) Khrubeshuv (Poland), Mostyska II (Lviv region) - Medyka (Poland), Rava - Russian (Lviv region) - Verkhrata (Poland). It is on them that the transition from the European gauge of 1435 mm to the gauge of the countries of the former USSR of 1520 mm is made. The process of rearranging wagons and platforms to other bogies is quite long and laborious, it takes six or more hours for one train.
It is these crossing points on the Ukrainian side that should become legitimate targets for Kalibr and Kh-101 strikes.
In addition, on hundreds of kilometers from the western border of Ukraine to the line of contact, there are hundreds of bridges, viaducts, dozens of railway junctions, which should also be subject to unconditional destruction. (With)

I fully support. For me, one life of the mobilized is more expensive than a million lives of the frozen people of Kiev and Lvov. If it is necessary for the world that Kyiv and Lvov freeze to death this winter, then let them freeze to death!
      .
Kyiv drags the world to the third world. There will already be billions of victims and thousands of frozen cities. Therefore, Russia not only can afford such things, but is also obliged to destroy this threat to the whole world by any means. Including, and the methods of impudent Saxons in the Second World War.
      .
Dedok wrote: "Now let's imagine what kind of humanitarian crisis the destroyed bridges across the Dnieper would cause in this situation. Millions of people would be isolated in the cold in the company of tens of thousands of armed Bandera. A terrible picture, no doubt. Zelensky would sacrifice his own without a shadow of a doubt. citizens for the sake of a beautiful tragedy for the amusement of the Western public. Russia cannot afford this, especially on the eve of winter."
Grandfather, apparently, none of his relatives were mobilized. They fell off, faded over a hillock, and then moan about the suffering of enemies. This is how the enemies must suffer, otherwise there will be no peace.

The military, with the help of NATO sponsors, will establish logistics through the Dnieper in a couple of weeks, if not days. First, on pontoons and floating crossings, and then a railway line will be transferred where space allows.
Nowhere in the NATO exercise was it shown how a rail link could be established through a large water barrier, so rail bridges MUST be hit by missiles.

Ukrainians have long shown that the interests of civilians can be neglected for the sake of military necessity. This is probably how it should be in a war with a superior enemy, our partial mobilization is the same, only on a smaller scale. So keep hammering and hammering, especially since power systems are a rather convenient target.
Plus another factor that many people forget about. Solving the problems of civilians, no matter how cynical it may sound to some, will force the Ukrainians to divert part of the resources from the front. Energy supply, heating, sanitation, equipping refugee camps - all this requires people, equipment and money. It will no longer be possible to simply brush aside a large number of victims, and the same Lvov will seriously talk about peace on the terms of the Russian Federation, if only civilization would return. Let Zelensky solve problems with rocking the boat

Maybe it was better to hammer out transport hubs, railways in those places where they connect into one big hub.
As I understand it, all the equipment from Europe is on the railway !!!

I think that Fedorov urgently needs to give the state bonus in addition to the standard salary of the Kremlinbot. This is a breakthrough that the defective managers have been talking about for so long - a railway without a bridge across the Dnieper in 2 weeks on a turnkey basis from scratch! The author has a strange logic: bridges are not bombed to make it possible to leave? I think that those who had the opportunity left a long time ago. There are those who have nothing to go. Bridges are not bombed because something is being transported from Russia to Europe through them. Maybe.

No need to focus on particulars and forget the main thing. Our goal is peace. To achieve peace, we must hurt Ukraine so much that Kyiv capitulates. As long as there is no surrender, any tales of our successes are insignificant and mean nothing.
    .
We must not run after the Ukrainians with requests for negotiations, but increase our strikes until the very moment the surrender is signed. Once they started fighting, only a continuous escalation of pressure and blows can bring peace.

"several hundred (powerful) missiles" on ONE bridge ... Well, well ... But, in my opinion, it can be done differently. Methodically hit the tracks NEAR the bridge. The Ukrainians dug up the holes, restored the tracks, and in a day or two they "dig" the hole again. "Several hundreds of trucks will last for a year. And the bridge will be intact.

Bridges are a perfectly legitimate military target. but the fact that the Russian army does not have planned guided bombs that can be used for this is a mistake or sabotage.
And I’m already tired of listening to air defense, it’s worth reading comments or articles before your own, where they said that the scattered Ukrainian air defense system could not do anything. And now it turns out she is so cool that she does not allow ours to fly. And the truth does not. Just not because she is so cool, because our VKS turned out to be not so powerful.

I never understood politicians, neither when I was young, nor today's old fart. Well, why, our president cannot LOUDLY announce to the whole world that for every shot at non-front-line civilian infrastructure facilities, we will respond with our own shot at the Ukrainian one. To convey this idea by all means to ordinary citizens of the West, so that everyone understands that in order to stop Russian shelling of Ukraine, it is necessary to stop shooting at Russia. On the military front, we are planning (so far) successes, now it is necessary to launch an offensive on the information one.

I consider the author's moaning about the problems for the civilian population of Ukraine unnecessary. This is a war and curtseys are not appropriate here. On our side, people who are part of our population are dying. And the "peaceful" population of a warring country always provides rear, provides a mobilization resource, repairs and delivers weapons.

Ukroreich has only 48 non-nuclear power plants. If you destroy transformer substations, then absolutely entire generation systems will not supply electricity to consumers! Nobody assigns the General Staff such a task! Or does someone think that the Russian army does not have the physical ability to do this? Why aren’t Ukrainian railway hubs for the delivery of weapons from NATO countries destroyed? Why are they not destroying technical points for replacing wheeled bogies from European to Russian gauge? There are two possible answers: 1 - they don’t want to, which smells of betrayal during the war,
2 - maybe there is nothing to hit with and the ceremonial copies are toys for exhibition, this is just for show. Only at the end of the eighth month of fighting did the leadership learn an amazing thing about the strategy of warfare - it turns out that they need to hit the enemy rear, destroying the infrastructure necessary for the production and delivery of weapons! After this, the West will begin to doubt the existence of nuclear weapons in general and the possibility of their use by Russia in the event of a military conflict with NATO.
This is confirmed by the growing impudence of NATO members and the constant talk about peace negotiations from Moscow!

In fact, even if the air defense is not completely suppressed, this is not a reason not to bomb bridges. You just need RTR/EW aircraft with anti-location missiles; an altitude of 10 km will protect you from MANPADS and Strela-4. And you don’t need a lot of bombs on the bridge, you just need KAB-1500 guided bombs with different types of guidance, you only need to collapse one span. So most likely there is a type of McNamara list - objects that cannot be bombed and all the bridges on this list.

There is no need to destroy all the bridges; some of the railway bridges are enough, for example, the Preobrazhensky Bridges and the Merefo-Kherson railway bridge. Both bridges are buildings from the times of the USSR and are included in the cultural heritage of Ukraine.

I have one question for the author: explain to us, the illiterate, how NATO in Yugoslavia managed without concrete-piercing multi-ton bombs with only cruise missiles and collapsed ALL the bridges across the Danube? Or was it drawn on computers - collapsed spans?
Further, it’s bad not to know and forget that the bridges in Kherson and Novaya Kakhovka are hit by MLRS with unguided missiles that fly along a ballistic trajectory and the probability of hitting a support tends to minus infinity.
Just in case, I inform you that in order to collapse the span of the railway bridge near Kremenchug in the summer of 1941, the Luftwaffe only needed to be hit by one 500 kg bomb. This is so to eliminate illiteracy.

It is a pity that the Luftwaffe were not familiar with the author’s opinion. Otherwise, they, of course, would not have sent Ju.88 with a 1000-kg bomb against the railway bridge near Kremenchug, as a result of which one of the bridge’s flights was collapsed by this bomb. And it was not possible to restore the bridge before the Germans occupied the right bank of the Dnieper. If the Germans knew that a bomb weighing one ton would not be enough to destroy a bridge, they wouldn’t even bother.

You explain this to some people a hundred times, but to no avail.

GUYS, what capacity will these floating bridges and ferry crossings have, huh? To supply our 40th Army in Afghanistan, where the intensity of the fighting was orders of magnitude lower, from 6 to 8 THOUSAND KamAZ trucks with trailers crossed the Amu Darya per day. The Wehrmacht in the Donbass requires many times more ammunition and fuel and lubricants. The Wehrmacht will be tormented by swallowing dust at such crossings.
Well, restoring bridges across the Dnieper is like two fingers on the asphalt. Yes, and the engineering troops will throw a railway bridge across the Dnieper in a couple of days, what do we have there, only some 1000-1200 meters, bullshit question. The author of the quote will naturally share his personal experience that he threw dozens of such bridges across rivers a month. Or did you just watch from the sofa how bridges were built and crossings were built?
Strangely, across the Sluch and Goryn, rivers several times smaller than the Dnieper, the Germans in 1943 restored bridges from 43 to 48 days, deep in their rear, when not a single bomb fell nearby. Near Kremenchug, the bridge, blown up in August 1941, was only able to be restarted according to a TEMPORARY scheme by December 41, and with full restoration, they were in trouble until April 1942. And the rest of the bridges across the Dnieper took 6-7 months to restore.
In 1985, during exercises, the division was transported across the Amur downstream from Khabarovsk. Well, the BTR-50 went swimming along with the BMP-1, and everything else went along pontoon bridges, on floating conveyors and on tracked self-propelled ferries. So, on ferries and medium floating transporters, the SME tank battalion (40 tanks and other equipment) trudged across the river for XNUMX HOURS. A tank regiment, an artillery regiment, an anti-aircraft regiment, sappers, signalmen, and a logistics battalion also walked across the pontoon bridge for almost a day. This is despite the fact that only imitation checkers were exploding around, there were no real attacks from either artillery or air.
Therefore, all these fairy tales that the ukrosaurs will restore bridges like two fingers on the asphalt in a week, that they will organize such traffic there on pontoons, that all the bridges will nervously smoke on the sidelines, that they will arrange a flow of traffic on barges, IMHO, the fruit of the Ukrainian-Wehrmacht propagandists from TsIPSO. They are trying with all their might to convince people that there is no point in touching the bridges, they are literally screaming and straining themselves.
