Currently, in addition to the construction of new radars, the modernization of those already built, requiring improvements, is underway. By 2030, three new radar stations will be built, the early warning system will completely switch to Voronezh high-readiness radar stations, and a number of already operating stations will be modernized. Also, several stations of the previous generation will remain in the System, they are not planned to be removed from combat duty. We are talking about the Dnepr radar in the Murmansk region, the Darial radar in Komi and the Volga in Belarus.
Today, the Voronezh stations control all directions of probable launches of ballistic and cruise missiles. EKS "Kupol" by 2024 should be brought to 10 spacecraft.
