We are talking about officials involved, according to the Americans, in violent actions against the recent "peaceful" protests in Iran. The new sanctions were announced in a statement issued by President Biden on Monday.

The President of the United States expressed serious concern about the use of force in the suppression of protests in Iran, aimed, as he put it, at equality.

Baden noted that ordinary Iranians will receive increased access to the Internet, and some Iranian officials and bodies (for example, the vice police) are waiting for sanctions.

The statement of the American president repeatedly says that the US authorities are worried about the Iranian people. However, in reality, Washington does not care about them.
