Bloomberg: It will take the United States "long years" to supply new HIMARS MLRS to Ukraine

The transfer of 18 new MLRS (multiple launch rocket systems) HIMARS to Ukraine will take a long time, possibly “many years”. This was reported by Bloomberg. The publication received such information from a high-ranking official of the US Department of Defense.

Unlike previous HIMARS MLRS, new batches of installations will not be supplied from the existing quantity. They will first need to be produced at the enterprises of the US military-industrial complex, as part of the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative, ensuring the workload of the American defense industry.

The United States will not be able to promptly supply other equipment that was included in the latest aid package to Ukraine. Its transfer to the Kyiv authorities will also take from 6 to 24 months. And these are only the most optimistic forecasts of the American side.

Recall that at present, the armed forces of Ukraine have already received 16 HIMARS MLRS installations from the United States. Although the American authorities have stated that these installations will be used to combat Russian troops, the Ukrainian military regularly fires at residential areas and civilian infrastructure of the Republics of Donbass and the liberated territories of the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions from the HIMARS MLRS.

The Russian authorities have repeatedly warned the United States and other Western countries about the inadmissibility of arms supplies to Ukraine. The constant transfer of weapons, military equipment, the participation of military instructors and mercenaries turns Western countries into one of the participants in the conflict in Ukraine.

They’re lying like they’re breathing .... who do you want to lull to sleep ..... if you put the outskirts on the stop list, nothing will be left of it in a couple of weeks .... that means they’ve already dragged .....

This is information stuffing, to curtail assistance to Ukraine. Ukraine has done everything that was intended for it, now quietly, they will leave the nanny alone with Russia ... Slavic blood will be shed a lot more .. but the hegemon has already used Ukraine, for the most part .. Now Russia has to finish the bloody performance ... and harness to the restoration of Ukraine

Something not very scared of them! They also send mercenaries immeasurably! And all four threads of the gas pipeline were blown up for greater persuasiveness! belay

. The question is certainly interesting...
How it will be real ... some guesses, versions, and politicians can decide in their own way.
Although, there are nuances through which it will be problematic for them to step over.
However, this has already been discussed more than once.
Time will tell what they will do right now.

How could one not make large stocks of high-precision weapons before the war.
The US has spent more than 20 long-range precision bombs and missiles in Iraq.
How could one hope to win against a country much stronger with several thousand missiles.
If the production of missiles does not grow significantly, then it may end badly

In general, it was said something like this .. All this fingered high-precision is enough for a couple of months of a serious conflict ... Or for half a year - a year of a conflict of medium intensity ... If a decisive result is not achieved during this time, they begin problems .. Either the economy is transferred to a war footing with all the consequences for the participants, or - the accumulated equipment of the 60s - 70s is taken from the warehouses ... And the war - goes into a completely different quality ..

It is only Russia that loudly warns everyone about what it may not do at all in "many years."
    They are already there.
    And they are already working.
    I don't like it either. (

Let the United States supply Hymars and MLRS, they have a lot of them. But the ammunition may run out, with 155 mm shells there is already a problem, you need to increase production, this will take time and there will most likely be interruptions in supplies.

Among the verbal husks, the meaning is hidden that the HIMARS MLRS were knocked out fairly well on the territory of Ukraine.

The Russian authorities have repeatedly warned the United States and other Western countries about the inadmissibility of arms supplies to Ukraine.

Usually when someone warns, they ask him the question: "What about?". Alas, Russia has drawn new "red lines" to such questions, since the Russian elite simply cannot answer them. We live in times of half-measures and post-COVID schizophrenia, and the future of Russia is becoming increasingly vague, as is the future of the whole world.

I've wanted to ask for a long time.
MLRS itself is an expensive thing. Missiles for her 150 thousand dollars. thing. Quantity is limited.
In my opinion, when conducting hostilities, they must be spent wisely. Roughly speaking, the hit target was worth it. As an example - Antonovsky bridge.
But what is the urgent need to hit these expensive ammunition just on residential areas? Stupidly tyrannize their own compatriots? what

Roughly speaking, the hit target was worth it. As an example - Antonovsky bridge.

They have already released at least 3 dozen on the Antonovsky bridge, and as soon as the situation changes, it will be restored in two weeks, so the cost of maintaining it inoperative is only increasing and, from the point of view of military propaganda effectiveness, is no better than terrorizing the population or the same prisoners of war.

And I very much hope that after a while it will take a very long time, perhaps for many years, to resume Ukraine's presence on the world map.

Yes, of course, this is a lie. What cannot be taken away from the United States is the ability to work quickly.

Whether the United States itself will have these "long years" in its current form, that is the question.
