In Ukraine, the deputy commander of the Azov regiment for combat training, who was in contact with NATO intelligence, was eliminated
On September 26, as a result of hostilities, Russian troops eliminated Lieutenant Colonel Igor Bezogluk. This man served as deputy commander of the Nazi regiment "Azov" (banned in the Russian Federation as a terrorist organization) for combat and special training.
Bezogluk is far from the first loss of a terrorist formation, but his position is noteworthy. The lieutenant colonel was not just a high-ranking commander, but also directly responsible for the special training of the personnel of the formation.
The military correspondents of the Russian Spring reported about the destruction of Bezogluk. Little is known about Bezogluk himself from the data available on the Internet. He graduated from the Kiev Higher Combined Arms School in 1993, then served in the armed forces of Ukraine. In 2010, he retired from service, but then joined a nationalist formation and began organizing the training of Ukrainian militants.
From open information in the media, it is known that Bezogluk closely cooperated with Western, including British, instructors who help Ukraine train not only ordinary units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but also terrorist groups. The lieutenant colonel gave rare interviews to the press even before the start of the Russian special military operation, and in them he noted the great importance of Western military assistance for the Ukrainian armed forces. His contacts with NATO intelligence are reported.
Recall that the Azov Regiment (banned in the Russian Federation as a terrorist organization) is known for numerous war crimes against civilians. By patronizing such formations, the West takes its share of responsibility for the atrocities committed by them.
