The head of the LPR spoke about a possible decision to introduce martial law in the Donbass
The head of the Lugansk People's Republic, Leonid Pasechnik, said that after the referendum in the republic, a decision could well be made to introduce martial law on the territory of Donbass. According to him, martial law can be extended to the Donetsk People's Republic.
Leonid Pasechnik noted that such a decision would be made after consultations with the Russian top leadership and in the event of the reunification of Donbass with Russia.
Pasechnik in a statement for TASS added that such a decision would be made jointly.
Earlier, the head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, announced the transition of the operation from a special military to a counter-terrorist one.
According to Aksyonov, the point of no return will be passed soon (after the completion of the referendums in the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions). The head of Crimea pointed out that the people in these territories had long decided which country they should live in.
Aksenov:
The head of Crimea noted that they fought for their people before, now it's time to fight for their land.
The federal authorities are currently not commenting on statements about a possible change in the CBO format.
