Ukrainian deputies adopted a bill on voluntary military registration for women in the first reading
It seems that the expression "war to the last Ukrainian" is becoming a harsh reality for the citizens of our "western neighbour". After Kyiv mobilized most of the male population of the country, the turn came to women.
So, today the deputies of the Verkhovna Rada in the first reading adopted a bill on voluntary women's military registration. At the same time, according to people's deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak, this standard will be prepared for the second reading in an accelerated mode.
Based on the content of the document, women whose civilian profession corresponds to one of the military specialties previously designated by the military department will be able to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine on a voluntary basis. In addition, those wishing to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine must be fit for service due to age and health.
An exception in this case are female health workers. In Ukraine, they will become mandatory for military registration.
It is obvious that the haste with the adoption of this bill by the Verkhovna Rada is connected with the partial mobilization in Russia announced earlier by President Vladimir Putin.
True, in our country only men will be called up and only those who have served in the army and have the appropriate military specialty.
As for Ukraine, there, as they constantly say, there is practically no mobilization reserve left, so women were allowed to join the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Naturally, such actions of the Kyiv authorities are dictated by their "Western partners", who intend to drag out the current conflict as much as possible and are ready to fight with Russia in the literal sense to the "last Ukrainian".
