An article is published in the Polish press, which says that the Polish authorities intend to demand not only reparations from Germany, but also territorial concessions from the Czech Republic. Recall that official Warsaw had previously put forward demands to Berlin for the payment of reparations for the years of Nazi occupation in the amount of more than 1,3 trillion euros. In Germany, this requirement is ignored so far.

Today, the Polish edition of Rzeczpospolita, which is the mouthpiece of the ruling elites, published an article stating that official Warsaw has stepped up work to take measures to "return the illegally seized Polish territories that are currently part of the Czech Republic."

The authors of the material write that the Polish government in the near future may put forward demands to Prague for the return of territories of about 368 hectares to Poland. In the logic of the Polish government, in the 50s of the last century, there was an "unfavorable delimitation and demarcation of borders" between Poland and Czechoslovakia. It is noted that it was then that Poland lost parts of the territory of the area indicated above.

It is noteworthy that this is not the first time Warsaw has raised this issue. So, in the mid-2000s, the Czech authorities, in a certain sense, were even ready to meet the Polish side halfway and offered monetary compensation. However, they did not agree on the price. And in the end, Prague's proposal was rejected.

Now the party of Yaroslav Kaczynski intends to again demand from the Czech authorities "the return of Polish lands." The reaction of the Czech government, which will not deal with the protests in Prague and will not solve the problems associated with the energy crisis, is not reported at the moment. At the same time, Czech experts, commenting on the situation, say that in this case, it is already possible to demand multibillion-dollar compensation from Warsaw for the occupation of the Teszyn region in the late 30s.
