"Army-2022": Russia strives to achieve quantum superiority

Leading experts in the field of quantum technologies at the international military-technical forum "Army-2022" discussed their development in Russia. Speaking with welcoming words to the audience at the round table organized by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the rector of the Moscow Technical University of Communications and Informatics (MTUCI) Sergey Erokhin spoke about the importance of this industry for the state and business.
But most importantly, the scientist emphasized that these technologies are of paramount importance for ensuring the country's security. With their help, you can cope with tasks that were previously considered unsolvable.
When we talk about quantum technologies, we are first of all talking about a new level of security
Erokhin noted.
Their development contributes to bringing the domestic electronics industry to a new level, allows you to create ultra-sensitive sensors. The panelists noted the increased level of cyber threats, which is forcing Russia to strengthen the security of data storage.
The event emphasized that Russia is striving to achieve quantum superiority, and for this it has good reason. Our competitors are serious, but they are few. After all, these complex technologies can be mastered by a limited number of countries, including the Russian Federation.
