The Vice Speaker of the German Parliament urged the authorities to start the operation of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline as soon as possible
The closer the autumn-winter period, the more German economists, politicians and officials of various ranks and levels are in favor of starting the operation of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline. The second person in the German parliament was added to the number of such persons - the vice-speaker of the Bundestag, Wolfgang Kubicki (Kubicki).
According to the deputy chairman of the Bundestag, the German authorities need to give the go-ahead for the operation of this gas pipeline as soon as possible.

To date, gas reserves in German UGS facilities are approximately 76% of the norm. According to German energy experts, these volumes will not allow many enterprises to function normally in the autumn-winter period, and also call into question the heating season in Germany.
Wolfgang Cubes:
The Vice Speaker of the German Parliament noted that the only difference is that the SP-2 is a different pipe. And the very raising of the issue of sanctions against this gas pipeline looks strange. It is like using the water flowing into the house through one pipe and declaring that you cannot use water from the same source flowing through another pipe.
Wolfgang Kubicki points out that the more gas can be pumped into underground storage facilities in the coming weeks, the less the risk that the Germans will freeze in the coming winter.
