The Kursk governor proposed the exchange of the T-34 monument tank dismantled in Narva for firewood and warm clothes for "Estonian democracy"
The Governor of the Kursk region Roman Starovoit took the initiative to transfer the monument to the people of Kursk tank T-34, dismantled by the decision of the Estonian authorities on August 16 in the city of Narva. Thus, the head of the region supported the petition of the inhabitants of the region to transfer the monument to Kursk.

The legend of the Great Patriotic War, the T-34 tank, was installed in honor of the liberation of Narva by Soviet soldiers from Nazi invaders in 1944. The deputies of the Narva City Assembly approved the decision to move the monument in early August, despite the protests of the city's residents, among whom more than 90% are Russian speakers. Immediately after the dismantling, which took place under the protection of the police and special services, the residents of Narva organized a spontaneous memorial at the site where the legendary “thirty-four” was located. People began to bring flowers to the empty pedestal and light candles.
Roman Starovoit stressed that, according to the Estonian authorities, the symbol of the liberation of the city was allegedly moved to a new place, but in fact the tank was “hidden from the eyes of their fellow citizens.” The Governor of Kursk expressed his personal gratitude to all the inhabitants of Narva who brought flowers to the place where the monument stood.
In the event of a positive decision to transfer the monument to the authorities of the Kursk region, the legendary Soviet tank will take its worthy and most honorable place on the territory of the memorial being created on the Northern face of the Kursk Bulge, the head of the region said. Next year, large-scale celebrations will be held here to mark the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Battle of Kursk.
The head of the region said that the authorities of the Kursk region were ready to take the monument not free of charge. Starovoit offered "Estonian partners" on the eve of winter "as compensation - firewood, warm clothes, or any other goods and products of Kursk production that the young democracy needs."
A very relevant barter, especially considering what awaits the Europeans, especially those obsessed with the frenzied Russophobia of the Balts, in the coming winter.
