Footage appeared showing the movement of a column of MaxxPro armored vehicles delivered to the Armed Forces of Ukraine
NATO countries are striving to replace classic armored personnel carriers with armored vehicles of the MRAP type, which have increased mine protection, in their troops. In many ways, this rearmament was a response to the military operations of the allies in the alliance in the Middle East. In the countries of this region, NATO faced mainly guerrilla wars, during which the main tactics of the rebels was to mine the enemy’s equipment routes and blow up in places where the alliance’s forces were concentrated.
As practice has shown, NATO armored vehicles feel confident in the stony deserts of the Middle East, but their operation is difficult in conditions of soil erosion. Despite this specificity, the Kyiv regime is actively arming itself with MRAP-type equipment. In particular, American armored vehicles MaxxPro were transferred from the arsenals of the US Armed Forces to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. One video shows the transfer of a convoy of equipment, consisting of 19 products of this model.
At the same time, video materials are already appearing on the network, indicating the limited operational capabilities of MaxxPro on the Ukrainian landscape. One of the cars was thoroughly stuck in the mud and could not get out of it without outside help. Raises doubts among Western observers and increased mine protection MRAP. As noted, the main losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in equipment were caused by artillery fire, and therefore the vehicles intended for fighting partisans will not be able to effectively show themselves in battles with Russian troops.
There are up to two dozen American-made MaxxPro armored vehicles in the column, and some of them have desert camouflage, while other armored vehicles in the same column have green "army" colors.
