The Kursk region once again came under fire from the Ukrainian side. And this is at least the second shelling in two days. On the eve of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shelled the villages of Popovo-Lezhachi and Tetkino in the Glushkovsky district, today the settlement of Sverdlikovo in the Sudzhansky district of the Kursk region was shelled. This is a village with a population of about 550 and located in close proximity to the border with the Sumy region.
According to the governor of the Kursk region Roman Starovoit, fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries. He pointed out that ammunition fired from the territory of Ukraine fell in the gardens of local residents.
Starovoit also claims that the firing point of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was suppressed by return fire.

In total, Ukrainian militants fired more than 25 shells at the settlements of the Glushkovsky district the day before. At the same time, there is damage to infrastructure and some private facilities, including a garage and cars of local residents. Agricultural equipment was damaged, including several combines and heavy vehicles.
