The number of foreign mercenaries fighting in Ukraine has again decreased, most of the foreigners from the so-called International Legion of Territorial Defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine left the country or were denazified by allied forces. At the same time, replenishment in the camp of mercenaries occurs regularly, although not at the same pace as at the beginning of a special military operation.

The Russian Ministry of Defense continues to monitor foreign mercenaries arriving on the territory of Ukraine to participate in hostilities against the Russian army. This is the third time the military has provided fresh figures on "wild geese", the previous "reports" of this kind were published in June and July.

This time the military took the period from July 8 to August 5. During this time, during the offensive of the Russian army and units of the NM of the republics, the number of foreign mercenaries on the territory of Ukraine decreased from 2741 to 2192 people. The destruction of three hundred and thirty-five (335) foreign fighters has been reliably confirmed, and another 389 left Ukraine on their own. During the same period, 175 "soldiers of fortune" arrived in the country, of which 81 were citizens of Georgia.

In terms of the number of mercenaries who arrived in Ukraine since the beginning of the NMD, Poland has been the leader - 1837 people, and the top five European countries include: Romania - 505, Great Britain - 436, Belarus - 233 and Albania - 150. In America, Canada and the USA are leading - 608 and 565 people, respectively . Georgia can be noted - 449 militants.

In terms of the destroyed mercenaries, Poland is ahead of all, during the reporting period 99 Polish militants were denazified, another 146 people fled back home. Also, Canada has heavy losses of foreign mercenaries - 36 people, Romania - 33 and the USA - 21. This is all in the past four weeks.
