Gazprom announces shutdown of another Nord Stream turbine

111

Gazprom again reduces the volume of pumping through the Nord Stream gas pipeline due to the shutdown of another gas turbine engine. According to the company, one more turbine has worked out its overhaul life before the overhaul.

The Russian company published a warning on its TG channel about a decrease in daily pumping volumes from July 27. It is indicated that Gazprom is forced to turn off another gas turbine engine at the Portovaya compressor station, since it has reached its deadlines and is subject to major repairs. Earlier, Rostekhnadzor issued a corresponding order.

Due to the end of the time between overhauls before overhaul (in accordance with the instructions of Rostekhnadzor and taking into account the technical condition of the engine), Gazprom stops the operation of another Siemens gas turbine engine at the Portovaya CS

- said in a statement.

It is specified that from 7:00 on July 27 the volume of daily pumping will not exceed 33 million cubic meters.

Earlier, Gazprom reported that they had received documents from Siemens on a turbine that had been repaired in Canada, but there were only more questions. Currently, the turbine is located in Germany and does not go to Russia. In addition, the sanctions imposed by the EU and the UK do not make it possible to repair other turbines that have run out of overhaul life.

(...) there are still open questions regarding EU and UK sanctions, the solution of which is important for the delivery of the engine to Russia and the urgent overhaul of other gas turbine engines for the Portovaya CS

- stated in the company.

Before, I frankly did not understand why Gazprom prefers Siemens to pipelines going abroad, and not our gas turbines.

In fact, everything is easier. Imported turbines were put on gas pipelines, imported pipes were used and they were laid by foreign pipelayers because foreigners paid bribes to our officials in order to provide their factories with orders, and to take away and destroy our factories from ours.
And the fact that our leaders play rabbit games, cowardly look for excuses and do not turn off the gas and do not put forward demands for the return of the stolen goods indicates that they are cowards and fools and that they have no plan and they lead according to the principle of where the curve will lead.

Because during the construction of SP-1, there were no domestic package GPUs with the required power.
Even at the last station of the Russian part of SP-2, it was necessary to install not completely localized GPA-32s (on the land section there are domestic GPA-25s from the UEC).

why Gazprom prefers Siemens for pipelines going abroad, and not our gas turbines

As far as I know, our turbines made on the basis of NK-12 turboprop engines have been successfully operating on gas pipelines throughout Russia for many years. I remember that back in the 70s, the engines from our Tu-95s, which had run out of service, after being modified to be powered by gas, worked at gas pumping stations for a long time.

Who told you such nonsense? The fact that compressors developed on the basis of the NK-12 are installed at the compressor station does not mean that there are engines removed from aircraft after the end of their service life. And do not confuse the operating modes of compressor stations on land, where the distance between compressor stations can be 100-200 km, depending on the relief, diameter and other factors, and in the sea, where the compressor station pushes gas for 1200 km. Therefore, the equipment is completely different there.

The converted NK-12ST engine, whose serial production began in 1974, was one of the first engines created by on the basis of expired aircraft gas turbine engines. The service life of such engines was extended by reducing the main parameters of the cycle and, above all, the gas temperature in front of the gas generator turbine.

There is nothing left but to admit your mistake wink . Today it is difficult to comment on what happened in the distant years in the Minneftegazprom of the USSR. Under Soviet rule, there were serious problems with engines (however, today there are no less of them). Today in Gazprom (at our CS) all compressor power equipment is only specialized, domestically made (localized production of analogues from GE) as part of, for example, GPA-32 Ladoga.

The Nord Stream gas pumping station is the largest in terms of capacity on our planet, which is generally capable of creating pressure for pumping gas over a distance of 1200 km (the length of Nord Stream, both the first and second). Ordinary stations are set with a frequency of 100-150 km, but here 1200! There are 8 gas pumping units in total. By the time the station was built, we did not have domestic units of such capacity and, under a contract, we supplied units produced in Canada by a division of Rolls-Royce, which was later bought out by Siemens. That's why they put it on the warranty. Today we have domestic units of the required capacity, but the station itself and the infrastructure were tailored specifically for Rolls-Royce. And no matter what the "wise men" from the West squeal that the Russians have the opportunity to pump gas with their units, Gazprom with full sincerity shows them pussy and twists his finger at his temple. Here is the whole schedule...

Simply, there is such a concept of MPSA (microprocessor-based automation systems) everything is built on them, from the assembly line of Lada, ending with submarines, tanks and aircraft, and so. The customer chose Siemens, as I understand it, because both the hardware and the "controllers" were delivered in an integrated manner. To explain those details, no one will understand and for a long time. In general, in short, there is a size detail with a shoebox + -, it can be of any manufacturer ("Schneider Electric" - French - is everywhere even in our army)), "Alain Bradley" - Americans - is in many significant sectors of Russia, the notorious Siemens, our God forbid, Prosoft will collide, then another .... "miracle of technology", Motorola), but a lot of rubbish, and 90% of the entire MPSA is foreign, so it's not only physically in the drives also in the "bosks" that control these drives, because there are special programmers who write algorithms for working in certain modes of these products, but there are not so many of them.

Basically, houses are heated with gas or a solarium special for stoves.
Of course, stoves remained in very old houses, in modern (personal) many people have a fireplace.
But the biggest snag with gas heating (in its absence) is that there will be no hot water for showers or baths.
You can put a potbelly stove or something like that, but the problem with hot water will remain.

Une bouilloire sur poêle et/ou un poêle/chaudière qui chauffe le circuit d'eau des radiateurs et du chauffe eau.
Aussi le chauffe eau peut être chauffé par le moteur lorsque le bateau navigue..

They were warned about this. Moreover, several turbines.
At present, the turbine is located in Germany and does not go to Russia.

The funny thing is that the location of the repaired turbine is unknown. fellow I'm watching this story - it's funny after all)
BERLIN, July 25 - RIA Novosti. The Ministry of Economy of Germany does not disclose information about the location of the Siemens turbine for Nord Stream for security reasons, said the representative of the department, Beate Baron.
At the same time, Economy Minister Robert Habek said earlier that the turbine was delivered to Germany at the beginning of last week, and its transfer to Gazprom will be reported after the fact.

In short, they lost it on the way), or indeed the Canadians repaired some kind of delayed breakdown and now it is being eliminated, because we still knocked out the warranty documents.

I just laughed when Gazprom threw American shareholders on dividends for 21 years.
            Moreover, taking into account
the price of contract gas in 6 months will be the same as on the stock exchange now. That is, at the very peak of winter, prices on the stock exchange will fly into the stratosphere and the fur-bearing animal will begin to cover Europe. Here, the prices for energy resources, food, fertilizers, inflation and even the weather play against the Europeans. Another migration crisis, which will be worse than in the previous decade. Even if SP-2 is launched in winter, it is unlikely to save the EU. And the sooner they launch SP-2, the easier they will endure the coming problems. But I believe in these Borisok, Emanuelek and Ursul - they will be able to do everything in the "best" way

The meaning of this trolling is generally understandable. The issue is that Gazprom is accused of breaking contracts; Life says:
The largest German oil and gas company Uniper considered the force majeure on gas supplies announced by Gazprom to be a violation of the contract. According to the head of the concern, Klaus-Dieter Maubach, litigation is not ruled out in this regard.
According to him, since mid-June 2022, Gazprom has not supplied the volumes of gas that were contracted and paid for by Uniper. And four weeks after the supply disruption, the company declared force majeure, which, according to the energy concern, violates the previously concluded contract.
In addition, the media report (Moscow24):
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said that Europe should prepare in advance for the fact that the Russian Federation may completely stop supplying gas.
"To mitigate the impact, we need to save 15% of our gas consumption by March next year. That's 45 billion cubic meters of gas," she told DPA.
According to the politician, "Gazprom" allegedly deliberately keeps the occupancy of its storage facilities at a low level. The head of the EC recalled that the priority is to achieve complete independence from Russian gas imports no later than 2027.
You can react to what is happening in different ways, but these events will accelerate the EU's refusal of our energy carriers, with all the ensuing consequences...
