Former US spy: Having launched an operation in Ukraine, Russia acted within the framework of the UN Charter

28

With the total anti-Russian propaganda deployed in the West, in recent years, more and more sober voices are heard about the situation in Ukraine. An increasing number of experts are beginning to wonder, on what basis, in fact, did Brussels and Washington choose unconditional support for Ukraine and complete rejection of Russia's interests? And it is extremely difficult for even major Western experts to answer these questions, if you do not take into account the main thing - Russophobia cultivated by the West.

Adequate experts understand that everything rests on the US attempts to maintain its hegemony in the international arena, in an attempt to impose its principles and put its laws and interests above the laws and interests of any other country. But support for Ukraine results in a major negative for ordinary Americans as well.

And who is supported by their authorities? A state steeped in corruption; a state ruled by an oligarchy for many years; the state whose authorities turned it from a once prosperous republic into the poorest country in Europe; a state that at least does not prevent the spread of overt Nazi ideology; a state that imposes sanctions against its own citizens. It turns out that the West openly stood up for a country that least of all corresponds to the values of the West itself? Or is it precisely the values of the West ...

Scott Ritter, a former American military intelligence officer who worked, among other things, in structures at the UN, talks about the Russian-Ukrainian armed conflict. He notes that by giving the order to start hostilities in Ukraine, Russia, of course, bears part of the responsibility, but only the actions of Russia, no matter how they tried to twist everything in the West, became the answer. A response to infringements on the rights of Russian and Russian-speaking citizens of Ukraine, on the Russian language, on faith, on traditional symbols. Ritter recalled that, having launched a special operation, Russia was guided by the UN Charter, which clearly spells out the right to self-defense. Moreover, Russia first recognized the DPR and LPR as independent states, which called on Moscow to provide military assistance, which legally complies with all UN standards.

An interview with Scott Ritter is presented in the American Method story on Arkady Mamontov's channel:

Russia acted in accordance with the UN Charter. it seems this has already been discussed. References were to articles 6 and 7 of the Charter. Yes, and in Minsk-2, the Russian Federation is the guarantor of the execution of this agreement.

Scott Ritter, from the very beginning of the CBO, expressed an objective point of view. It cannot be said that he is a Russophile, just a sane person who does not hesitate to express his thoughts aloud. There are few like him, unfortunately.

      Article 106
Pending the entry into force of such special agreements referred to in Article 43 as, in the opinion of the Security Council, enable it to begin the exercise of its duties under Article 42, the parties to the Four Powers Declaration, signed at Moscow on October 30, 1943, and France will, in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 5 of this Declaration, to consult with each other and, if necessary, with other Members of the Organization for the purpose of such joint action on behalf of the Organization as may be necessary for the maintenance of international peace and security.

      Article 107
This Charter does not in any way invalidate actions taken or sanctioned by governments as a result of the Second World War to such actions against any state that was the enemy of any of the signatories to this Charter during the Second World War, as well as does not prevent such actions.

In my opinion, the countries of the "friendly" West have been wiped out with all the charters recently, and only now, after the trials of their mercenaries, they began to realize a little something that they have no contacts with the DPR and LPR on this issue, but they screwed up with the Russian Federation all connections, then I think it will be even more interesting ...

They acted according to the call of the heart and conscience. In addition to the UN Charter.

"According to the call of the heart and according to conscience" is in general, "according to concepts." In our position, it is better to adhere to the statute.

The simple fact is that the United States itself does not have at its side any state like North Korea, which annually strained them. They just have nothing to compare to. As they say, everything is calm in Baghdad.

Once upon a time, Cuba was such a state. And the Caribbean crisis was quite real. Alas, the US and the West have too short a memory.

Cuba bombarded US territory? Can you tell me when a missile or projectile fired from Cuba hit Florida? But shells from Ukraine flew into Russia even before the start of the NWO

Didn't fire. But our missiles were already there. Operation Anadyr. By the way, then the 3rd World War was quite real. My father was on the plane, on combat readiness number one, and all the other branches of the military were brought to this readiness. If Kennedy and Khrushchev had not agreed then, then the missiles from Cuba would have started.

America carried out direct aggression, albeit by the hands of mercenaries, against Cuba a year before Soviet missiles appeared on it, in 1961

that the United States itself does not have any state like North Korea at its side

This did not happen by itself, the states, having the experience of having European armies during the war of independence, sought to prevent Europe from reaching themselves, for which the Monroe Doctrine was created, about non-interference in each other's affairs, then the states banned intervention in the northern region. and south. America. But at the same time, they themselves actively climbed into other continents, overthrowing governments and fighting. In theory, the Russian Federation also needs a doctrine on the prohibition of interference in the CIS.

Great definition. So it is necessary to poke them in the nose of the UN every time they start rolling a barrel on the Russian Federation.
By the way, "a former intelligence officer ..." Hm! The former does not exist. He, of course, may have put it this way on his own initiative, but since this is an interview .... The preparation of public opinion has begun. Mission completed.

I cannot agree with you. With all my questions to Putin and his cabinets, collaborators are glorified in our country, people are disappearing in our country (for their statements), we are making demands on other countries, we are destroying the population (as in the Donbass)?

Well, they have not yet begun to glorify collaborators at the state level, but they have already begun to justify ... And the extermination of the population is also slowly going on (of its own, though) thanks to the social policy of the state.
I don't believe it will get better. I'll be glad if I'm wrong.

True, for a long time no one has been interested in, in international relations, strength is what interests everyone who is stronger and he is right, and the winners, as you know, are not judged ..
