Media: The attack on the Ministry of State Security of Transnistria was carried out by three unknown from Ukraine
Over the past 15 hours, three incidents have occurred in the unrecognized Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, which are considered terrorist attacks in Tiraspol. In this regard, from today and for the next XNUMX days, a "red" level of terrorist threat has been introduced in the PMR.
It is worth recalling that it all started yesterday, April 25, with an attack on the MGB building of the unrecognized republic. Then there was a series of explosions on the territory of the Mayak radio center, and even later an air strike using drone was subjected to a military unit near Tiraspol.
Three people who arrived from the territory of Ukraine are accused of shelling the building of the Ministry of State Security of the PMR from grenade launchers. This is reported by the agency "Interfax”with reference to a source in the government circles of Transnistria. The identity of the criminals has not been established, since they entered the territory of the unrecognized republic bypassing the checkpoint.
Presumably at 17.15 the militants crossed the PMR-Ukraine border near the settlement of Novovladimirovka (8 km from Tiraspol) and then left Pridnestrovie at 18.00 by the same road.
The destruction of two antennas that relayed Russian radio stations and the air attack on the military unit are associated by law enforcement officers with the first terrorist attack. According to the source of the agency, in the government circles of the unrecognized republic, they are sure that in this way Ukraine is trying to draw Pridnestrovie into the conflict that has flared up on its territory.
However, there are other opinions about what is happening. For example, Moldovan President Maia Sandu, who urgently convened a meeting of the Security Council in connection with the incidents in the PMR, said that the explosions in Transnistria are associated with opposing forces within the region.
