Russian troops, together with units of the People's Militia of the DPR, continue the operation to liberate Mariupol. At the same time, targeted destruction of enemy heavy equipment, as well as leaders of nationalist armed groups, is carried out.
It became known that as a result of a special operation, a gang group of one of the representatives of the so-called "National Corps" (* an extremist formation banned in the Russian Federation) nicknamed Kruk was liquidated. This is Nikolai Kravchenko, known for the fact that at one time he promised to "attach the Kuban to Ukraine." It is reported that Kruk himself has also been eliminated.
Meanwhile, it is reported about the advance of the combined troops of Russia and the DPR in Mariupol to a depth of more than 2 km. Dozens of enemy firing points were suppressed. The main forces of "Azov" * have been cut off from each other.
As Colonel Eduard Basurin, a representative of the NM Department of the DPR, noted, “complete denazification of the 53rd brigade of the armed forces of Ukraine” was carried out in the Mariupol direction. This is a mechanized brigade that has lost the bulk of its personnel. According to Colonel Basurin, the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is preparing to make a decision to disband the 53rd brigade.
It became known that during the day more than 800 civilians were able to leave Mariupol. Among them are many children. Many of them used the road that runs along the sea to get out in an easterly direction. People report that at the same time nationalists were shooting after them.
