Servant of the People faction leader considers Americans bad friends for Ukraine
US statements about Moscow's "aggressive plans" in relation to Kiev are harming the Ukrainian economy. For some reason, the United States is actively fomenting panic among Ukrainians.
This statement was made to journalists by the head of the Servant of the People presidential faction in the Verkhovna Rada, David Arakhamia.
The Ukrainian politician noted that the United States had already announced new dates for the upcoming “Russian invasion” several times, but each time it did not happen. From this, many have concluded that the threat is far-fetched, and the intimidation of people is carried out for some purpose.
Arakhamia does not understand why Washington needs this, but such rumors cause economic damage to his country. Therefore, the leader of the Servant of the People faction considers the Americans bad friends for Ukraine.
Arakhamiya said.
He also drew attention to the fact that last spring, the signals about the concentration of Russian troops near Ukraine were very sluggishly discussed in the media, the information was mainly passed through intelligence channels. Now, Arakhamia notes, Western press reports about the actions of the "aggressor" appear faster than intelligence data arrives.
In fact, Arakhamia repeated the claims against the West expressed by his boss, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. It turns out that the Ukrainian authorities, who themselves constantly talk about an alleged imminent Russian attack, are now claiming that all this rhetoric comes from the West, which is engaged in disinformation.
For the first time in Kiev and in the West, they began to talk about building up the contingent of the Russian Armed Forces last spring. Soon this "wave" came to naught, but then rose with renewed vigor in the fall and has not subsided to this day.
