The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, reacted to accusations against Russia of "aggression on its borders." The author of such an original statement is US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.
Zakharova's comment was published in her Telegram channel.
The irony of the press secretary of the Russian Foreign Ministry was caused by the words of the head of the American foreign policy department, Anthony Blinken, about "aggression on the Russian borders", which he said during a conversation with British Foreign Secretary Elizabeth Truss.
We insidiously aggress within our own borders
- Zakharova commented on the words of the American Secretary of State.
In addition to the “upcoming Russian invasion” of Ukraine, representatives of the United States and Britain discussed the economic and political ties between Moscow and Beijing. During the conversation, Blinken suggested that the Russian president would decide for himself whether to attack his Ukrainian neighbor, although the Chinese side allegedly asked him not to do this until after the Beijing Olympics.
Since last November, Western countries have been accusing Russia of concentrating its armed forces near the border of Ukraine with the aim of a subsequent invasion. Moscow denies that it has "insidious plans" in relation to the neighboring state.
