Polish observer: In Russia - the cult of the army

46

The Polish edition of Wirtualna Polska published an article by columnist Jakub Bernat, who is distinguished by his anti-Russian views. Although in modern Poland it is difficult to find an author published in major publications who had at least a neutral attitude towards the Russian Federation.

According to Bernat, Poland borders on a country that supposedly did not experience the devastating conflicts of the XNUMXth century.

Polish columnist:

Russia treats military operations with its neighbors not only as an element of international politics, but also as a way to resolve internal problems. At the same time, many are wondering how inevitable a Russian offensive into Ukraine is. But few people think about the Russian specifics - "Russia cannot be understood with the mind", this country does not lend itself to the usual comparative analysis.

Jakub Bernat writes that the specifics of Russia lies in the special role of the army and fleet. They are not separate structures in the Russian Federation, but have a status that makes almost all spheres of public life subordinate to them.

“In Russia, the cult of the army. Often it takes quite unusual forms,” writes the Polish author.

In particular, an example is given of how a reduced copy of the Reichstag was created, "so that young people from the Yunarmiya could gain experience in defeating the Third Reich." According to the Polish observer, on the one hand it looks "fun", on the other - "makes you wonder who you have to deal with on the other side of the border."

The Polish author argues that the older President Vladimir Putin gets, "the more obvious is Russia's transition to the rails of Soviet militarism." Moreover, Bernat does not say a word about Polish militarism, including the purchase of Western weapons, including Tanks and fighter jets, on the deployment of new armed formations near the Russian borders, including the American military contingent. The Polish observer does not talk about the creation by the Americans in Poland of a missile defense area - near Redzikowo. According to his logic, there is no need to pay attention to these actions of Warsaw and Washington.

On the other hand, the author is extremely concerned about Russia's demands for non-expansion of NATO and for the withdrawal of foreign NATO troops from the countries of the alliance that joined it after 1997. The Polish observer is also worried about Russian troops on Russian territory, which are already being talked about non-stop in the West and in Ukraine.

Political commentator Jakub Bernat is a very specific writer.
It is enough, for example, to read his article 9 years ago from 2013 "Russia is my perverted love." Indeed, Russia is precisely "PERVERTERED love" for him!

In this article Jakub Bernat compares contemporary Poland- a small European country compared to the size of the USSR / Russia, which, by the way, was quickly rebuilt after WWII thanks to the help of the Soviet Union, which, unfortunately, he does not mention - with post-Soviet post-Yeltsin Russia- namely, with the life of Russians and non-Russians in the villages near Magadan, on Baikal, in Kamchatka, i.e. away from European civilization.

And at the same time, in this article, he writes, for example, a lot of things with which it is difficult to disagree. However, Jacob Bernat, as an author and political observer, still needs to separate the wheat from the chaff!

And about himself in this article, Jakub Bernat writes the following:
It is known, however, that any perverse feeling has such a property - you get tired of it. And after each long stay, I strive to return to Poland and begin to get annoyed by the post-Soviet order. And the funny thing is, leaving for Poland from the countries of the former USSR, I feel the same as I feel when crossing the Polish-German border - everything is clean and tidy, although our eastern voivodships do not impress with the level of development. However, I affirm with full conviction that Poland is not part of the West, and if it ever becomes one, it will be the end of the Polish spirit.. And that's why I want the Poles to retain in themselves what is best in the East - hospitality, curiosity and a little bit of madness. Add only to this our love of freedom. And let's not forget that, in the end, a particle of the Great Steppe lives in each of us.

“In Russia, the cult of the army. Often it takes quite unusual forms,” writes the Polish author.

Who would talk about it, but not the Poles! This is a kind of complex of its own historical inferiority in "great" Poland. Namely.

I will remind you. First chapter reborn Polish state, founder of the Polish army; Marshal of Poland Jozef Pilsudski who, although not formally the head of Poland, but in fact, he led it, stood in pro-German aggressive positions.

                REFERENCE
In 1917, the Provisional Government promised independence to the Poles in exchange for participation in an anti-German alliance. On August 29, 1918, the Council of People's Commissars of the RSFSR canceled the tsarist international treaties, effectively granting Poland national sovereignty. In a few weeks An independent Poland was proclaimed, which was soon headed by a revolutionary, a former Japanese and Austrian spy, Jozef Pilsudski. Coming to power he did not take into account the fact that it was Soviet Russia that granted his country independence, and unleashed a war against her in 1919, as a result of which Warsaw captured Western Ukraine and Western Belarus.

And now the same thing is happening in Poland!
Again, Poland, with its "magnificent" Nazi ambitions, fell under the Anglo-Saxons of the USA and Great Britain, arming itself with their help and thundering war drums against Russia!

When in the Kremlin the sovereign from the boyars, all in fur, on their faces and sable on their bodies, is sentenced and ordered - then yes. You take a pike, poke, zhraka halfway, go and put your skull in a numbered pile in the middle of the field. You are an archer, you are supposed to, your leg at the end did not twitch and calm down by itself, but completed your small part in a big ballet. For which your homeland has been famous from time immemorial. In which soldiers and ballerinas go on the attack in a single formation. On enemies, on friends, on those who look askance or do not look at our ballet at all. (WITH)

How else, if someone constantly wants to destroy Russia, and the army is the only means that does not allow this to be done?

      Yes, cult.
My father, an officer of the Airborne Forces, raised me on the films "Officers" and "In the Zone of Special Attention." I raised my son on the same films - now in Ryazan and this is his conscious choice since childhood.

And further. For that Pole especially.
In Russia, the cult of the army, and the Russian Army has one good tradition - to win. Let the Poles and the rest of the world count on their fingers who else hasn’t been hit in the neck by us, whose capitals we haven’t taken. And once again think hard before inciting a new war.

Yes, the song is about many things, he himself sang and understood what, but that was a different country. Ours, on which our factories stood, our mines, oil rigs, our fields and lakes ... And now it's all someone else's, not ours! We pay pans for our oil and gas, for education and treatment, for water and the opportunity to fish and pick berries on our land! Wrong army, wrong goals, and it protects not us, but Panov from us. And it makes no difference who this plan is, a Russian Jew, a Ukrainian, a Chechen, or a Dagestani. He is the master of life, and he and his hard-earned wealth are under the protection of a new army.

Now the Pechenegs, then the Khazars, then the Mongols in a crowd, then the Tatars separately, then the Livonians, then the unwashed German knights. The army of Genghis Khan for five years, FIVE, fought the Mordovians in Arzamas. There is an army in Russia. Respect for her too. But there is no cult.
Why does Russia need a cult of the army if young healthy guys annually besiege the selection committees of military schools, creating a competition? If the state saturates the troops with new models of military equipment, then this is not a cult, but a severe necessity.

Everything is simple. For other countries, the army is more a matter of prestige, or the economy ... But for Russia, this is a matter of survival. Russia must have a strong army, otherwise it will be trampled. In fact, since the time of the revolution, Russia has been in the state of Carthage in the Third Punic.

Everything is relative. If you demand to remove the issue of confrontation with NATO and the problem of Ukraine from the information turnover of an average statistical average person in Russia, then he will flood you with other problems and news that are interesting to him and cause denial or positive feelings. But to do the same with a European and he will think. The rest for him will be secondary and "petty". In addition, you can run into and on the "collision". "That is, how to remove the issue of confrontation? Because of it, my gas has increased five times and it's cold and soon it will be the same because of the confrontation and intrigues of Russia." It is hard to put our layman on the rails to justify problems by the "imperialist encirclement". He knows exactly who is to blame.
