The Spanish Ministry of Defense is ready to send combat aircraft to Bulgaria "to contain Russia"

To help NATO forces in the Black Sea, Madrid sent its Blas de Lezo frigate there. In addition, the Spanish Ministry of Defense is ready to send combat aircraft to Bulgaria “to contain Russia”.
This is reported by the Spanish newspaper El Pais.
Despite the active participation of Madrid in NATO activities, allegedly aimed at "deterring Russia", Spanish Defense Minister Margarita Robles said that her country prefers diplomatic methods to resolve differences between states. According to the head of the Spanish defense department, this also applies to the resolution of the Ukrainian crisis. At the same time, she believes that the threat of a Russian invasion of Ukraine still exists.
Robles confirmed that Madrid will act in accordance with the general line of the North Atlantic Alliance. In support of her words, a year ago, Spain sent six Eurofighter fighters to Romania. Stationed there, they were engaged in patrolling the Black Sea area. And this year, the Spanish General Staff initiated to repeat these actions in Bulgaria.
And although Madrid actively took up the "containment of Russia", he should have done this away from Russian borders. After all, the Spaniards already have the sad experience of military operations against our country by the forces of the Blue Division in the 40s of the last century. Then many of the soldiers of this military unit forever remained in the Russian land near Leningrad.
