Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: During the exercises, our crews of anti-tank systems destroyed a column of tanks in 36 seconds
The Ukrainian army has enough anti-tank systems to counter "Russian aggression" that can stop any number of Russian tanks. This statement was made by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant-General Valery Zaluzhny.
Answering questions from Ukrainian journalists regarding the ability of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to stop the “Russian invasion,” Zaluzhny said that the number of modern anti-tank systems available to the Ukrainian army would be enough to counter Russian tanks, and the ATGM crews are highly qualified, allowing them to quickly and accurately hit Russian armored vehicles. As an example, he cited the exercises of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in which the ATGM crews showed "amazing results."
According to him, during the exercises, anti-tank systems destroyed a column of tanks in 36 seconds, and all this happened in front of "the eyes of journalists."
- the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine boasted.
Speaking about the quality component of anti-tank weapons, Zaluzhny stressed that modern Ukrainian-made ATGMs show themselves "very well." In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are armed with "a certain number" of American FGM-148 Javelin anti-tank systems, the capabilities of which will become an "unpleasant discovery" for Russian tankers. According to him, even the protection of Russian tanks installed on top of the tower will not save from American complexes.
- summed up the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
