"The time of Moscow has passed": the Polish edition started talking about the revival of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth

103

The next geopolitical crisis brings new players onto the stage. US influence is diminishing, China is rearing its head in Asia, and Russia is losing its importance. Poland should take advantage of this by realizing its imperial ambitions, writes the author of an article for the Polish edition of Gazeta Polska Codziennie Bartosz Bartczak.

Russia is gradually weakening, losing its positions, Bartchak is sure, the next round of confrontation remained with Poland. This is clearly seen from the situation in the area of the Polish-Belarusian border, where everything is calm. An attempt by Putin and Lukashenko to rock the situation failed.

According to the author, Poland has been dragged into a global conflict, so Warsaw needs to take advantage of this. First of all, Bartchak proposes to squeeze Moscow out of its spheres of influence - Belarus and Ukraine. Warsaw should succeed in this, since Russia is "weak" and can no longer resist pressure. To do this, it is necessary to "strangle" Russia with sanctions and convince the Ukrainians and Belarusians that they will be better off with Poland.

Having included in its sphere of influence the territories of Ukraine and Belarus that originally belonged to Poland, Warsaw will take the first step towards the revival of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, the author is sure. Millions of Ukrainians and tens of thousands of Belarusians now living on the Vistula will return to Ukraine and Belarus and take the place of local elites, implementing Polish politics.

Against the background of the revival of Poland, Russia the author assigns the role of a power that has already left the scene, which played a role in stories... In his opinion, Russia has already lost to either the United States or China, the author himself has not yet figured out which of them will eventually become a world leader.

Thus, a weakened Russia gives Poland a chance to become a new power in Europe and Warsaw should use it, of course, with the support of its American allies. At the same time, Warsaw can go even further and restore not only the First Rzeczpospolita, but also unite the entire Intermarium region under its control.

The time of Moscow has simply come to an end, the time of Warsaw has begun, the author sums up.

And then there are many examples in history of HOW did you treat (and do!) To the ethnic Belarusians living in your territory. And where does it come from that Russia was "blown away"? I know how Poland can avoid the fourth section. You just need to deploy more American missiles designed to deliver a preemptive strike against Russia. Then no one else will divide Poland. Who in FIG needs a territory vitrified after a nuclear retaliation strike?

In the next 30-50 years, everything will be decided by the strength of the economies of Poland and Russia and the proposal of civilization addressed to Belarusians and Ukrainians. In recent years, 140 thousand Belarusians and 2 million Ukrainians have arrived in Poland for permanent residence. One hundred thousand young Belarusians and Ukrainians study at Polish universities. These people associate their future with Poland, they are looking for a better life there. Today, the strength of the state is determined by people, not by the area it occupies. this is a very superficial view. "standard of living" can be a decisive factor unless for people who cannot see beyond their noses. request if you decide to move to a place where the standard of living is high, then first of all it is worth asking who has a high standard of living there and if there is a chance of getting into this category. here you, as I understand it, want to say that there is a high standard of living in Poland. who? just a year ago I was looking at Euro News a story about Polish miners from a closed mine who earn money by digging coal in old mine workings at the risk of their lives and selling it on the market. somehow not like that high standard of living for the sake of which it is worth going to Poland. but they go. an acquaintance gave a link to Ukrainian forums where Ukrainians working in Poland discuss their pressing matters. to be honest, I'm not ready for the kind of prostitution they are discussing there request but you're right, some don't care, the main thing is to get money.

After the Great Patriotic War, they sang about the joint construction of socialism, but they shook the communist bloc with all their might. Now they are at one with the United States and bring a sea of problems to the EU ... And everyone, at least, pretended to believe the Poles! And history teaches that one should behave with Poland proceeding from an understanding of their "peculiarities" of their national character.

Such assessments on the part of Bartchak evoke affection. Some Wishlist on my mind, not supported by anything except ambition. It is sad that he is not alone in his desire to revive the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. By the way, Stalin spoke about the attitude of the West to the USSR: they are afraid, so they respect. The growing hysteria of the United States and its vassals about the threat from Russia testifies to its growing strength.

At first glance, the article is pure trolling for a Russian person. I remembered my childhood. There was a kid in the yard who teased us from a safe distance. It is clear that the Poles have the opportunity to tease the bear from a safe distance. Whether it is offensive or not, I think for a person who knows what modern Poland is, I think not. But it is also true that a Pole writes in this style, because he CAN do it. Or maybe he does it because our external policy is pragmatic. That is, we are encouraged to be smarter and not to respond to insults, but to look for common ground in everything in order to make friends and bargain. But in the end, the enemy becomes impudent - this entails unpunished Russophobia, which ultimately leads to material losses. We did not interfere with the cultivation of Russophobia in Ukraine, but hoped that the people are fraternal, we need to be friends with them and trade, this led, INCLUDING, to financial losses, the same story is outlined with SP2. Only now, when Russia was pinned to the wall, she began to respond timidly. At the same time, ignoring the legitimate issue. You can't cross the red lines, or else? An intelligible answer, then this is what does not sound. They only say that it will be unacceptable, but they answer us, but you will bear with it. Before the war, Stalin urged not to succumb to provocations - and that's what happened !!!

And if he had not called, would it have been different? Yes, it would be different. But how? Do not forget that an Anglo-French air raid on the Baku oil fields was planned for May 1940. And there ..... In short, it is not at all a fact that it would be better for our country.
As for the article by this Bartosz Bartczak, this is another proof that economists should reason on economic topics, and historians should reason on historical ones. The same in the economy, let's say, not very ... He somehow forgot, his country with imperial ambitions receives a third of the budget from EU donors. I have never heard of real emperors begging for alms on the porch. Perhaps the Poles want to do something unprecedented again ... laughing

Yes, we are at this wall all our history .... Tell me, when was it different? Only in those periods when, by the will of corrupt rulers, we practically "fell to our knees." Of course, you can throw a stone at the leaders of our foreign policy. But this gesture is more because our knowledge of the real situation is limited to the Vremya program. And yes, we can afford to criticize the management incessantly. But only because we ourselves do not have to answer for our hasty emotional flutters. But as time shows, restraint and neatness in relationships always turn out to be more productive than pubertal emotionality.

But I'm a little worried. I am a common man in the street form my opinion on what I learned from the media. What have I learned? Miscellanea. Recently I listened to, as I was told, the favorite program of the Russians for 60 minutes. For an hour Skabeeva explained to the country what bellicose statements NATO and its Ukrainian vassals are making, how they have become insolent, how many weapons have been sent to them, and how they are about to conquer the people of Donbass. It became scary. But then a gray-haired expert came forward and told how many weapons we have and how quickly we will win. But at the same time, everyone consoled the people with the fact that the Russian Federation will not be the first to attack Ukraine, and its curators will not forbid it to attack Russia itself. And I thought how Russia got to the point where our relations with the fraternal Slavic people, with whom we have shared sorrow and joy for many centuries, and even our leader was a Ukrainian. have to settle overseas. And if this is the purpose of domestic propaganda is to convince the people that everything is lost, then why is this so? Moreover, judging by everything, the position of our country in technology is now generally better than five years ago,

Ukraine began to float away from us in an organized manner in 1988-89, when the Rukh was not strangled, but given political legitimacy. The foundation was laid by Khrushchev when he allowed the former Banderaites to return to their places of historical residence. The West supported the nationalists in every possible way, but it itself, nationalism, was already present in Ukraine in its traditional active-aggressive form. The only solution there was a complete pre-occupation of the territory, with the cleansing of nationalists from overt to covert, t.s. household. But by the 2000s, the moment had already been lost. And if the "heroes of the Maidan" hadn't started shedding the blood of all those who disagree, the Crimea issue would not have been resolved today, as it is today, and it would have been not the Black Sea Fleet or the Navy, but a completely alien fleet in Sevastopol.

Of the large - just Crimea. Putin's relationship with Trump and Biden. Our reaction to the aggravation in Donbass this spring. Compliance with gas contracts with countries with deviant behavior. Yes, there is a lot that can be remembered with some effort. I agree that not everything can be unambiguous. I mentioned what happened. How it could be in other scenarios of development can be imagined only speculatively. But the mere fact that American politicians, like Ukrainian and European ones in addition, are very much afraid of one-on-one meetings of their presidents with Putin already says a lot ... Hagen. You mentioned that in May 1940 the British and French were going to bomb Baku, but it did not work out, if I understood you correctly, because Stalin maneuvered correctly. But on May 10, 1940, Hitler began to attack France and actively bomb London, so there was no time for Baku. Concerning Ukrainian nationalism. Yes, there was a ruh, but the west was actively inserting its fingers into the hole. But according to my observations, even after the rule of Yushchenko, Russophobia has not yet penetrated into the masses of the Ukrainian people. These are my observations. In October 2013, I was vacationing at a sanatorium in the Crimea. Many Ukrainians rested there, relations with all of them were normal, with the exception of one orak, but what to take from him. As for the Crimeans themselves, they seemed to me more Russian than many Russians in Russia, but from no one I heard about the desire to unite with the Russian Federation, therefore I do not consider the unification of the Russian Federation with the Crimea as a result of persistent policy. It was Putin himself who said that the decision to initiate the process arose under the influence of the victory of the Ukronazis in February. Why the Russian Federation behaved so passively during the Maidan - I naturally do not know. I can assume from a reluctance to mix the preparations for the Olympics, but if so, then this is a miscalculation, because our athletes have not yet washed themselves of undeserved dirt during the Olympics. We have a bunch of organs that could and should have calculated this. All our further reactions to the Ukrainian events look compelled from low prices for gas in the name of the Ukrainian people to a military demonstration, that is, we were not leading and led. Who argues that Putin, an outstanding politician, may be the strongest, but after the Maidan he demonstrates art in defense, but this does not correspond to the fact that in terms of technology, our country has succeeded in recent years - whiners will talk about the dollar exchange rate, but the matter is not in the know. but in supersonic.

therefore, I do not consider the unification of the Russian Federation with Crimea as the result of a persistent policy

The desire to return Crimea was much earlier. Both Crimeans and Russians expressed a desire to leave / take Crimea under Russia, and not only at the level of everyday discourse, but also at the level of the political elites of that time. But all this was under a normally functioning government in Kiev, in peacetime. Any movement in this direction would mean a real war. Ours waited, monitored the situation, including intelligence, and even active measures. And the issue was resolved only at a time when there was no legitimate government in Ukraine. And it was necessary to be able to wait, predict and seize the moment for what was done to become consistent with the article of the UN Charter.
              Quote: mikh-korsakov

We have been on the defensive all our lives ... And today, with 146 million, we are opposing 800 million of slightly more advanced technological power. Therefore, yes, it is difficult to attack ... Nevertheless, we live and develop. Not as fast as we would like, but still ... For contrast, neighbors. They do not have such pressure as they do to us, they even help. And the country is nowhere lower, although it had every chance of being advanced, at least among the republics of the former USSR. ... The author is right in something. The CIS de facto ordered to live a long time, on the territory of the former USSR, a single economic space has not been created ... Russia, at one time "successfully" repented for Katyn, for the Moscow Treaty of 1939 , then they "handed over" back, but they missed the time .. They broke off a lot of branches, broke a lot of firewood. We actively spit on the Soviet past. We cannot offer anything else in the ideological sphere, except "our ideal is the Russian Empire", only in the "empire" there are not many who wants to. And Poland acts skillfully, did not give a damn about the Ukrainian regime, the Bandera parades, the murder of civilians in Donbass, they even found a common hero in the person of the "fighter against Bolshevism" - S. Petliura, who was an ally of Poland and so quietly squeezed out whatever they want, "from can to can." And here, once again, they will shrug their shoulders and blame American imperialism.
