The topic of Russia's allegedly preparing an attack on Ukraine does not leave the pages of Western newspapers, artificially fueled by various politicians, experts and analysts who are discussing how and in what ways to "contain" the Russian army. Another method of such "containment" was proposed in the United States.

American security expert Daniel Goer proposed the best and simplest, in his opinion, way to "contain the aggressive intentions" of Russia. In his opinion, for this it is simply necessary to strengthen the eastern flank of NATO in advance, i.e. pull as many American forces as possible to the Russian borders, and choose the territories of states loyal to the United States, such as Poland, for their deployment.



Gur is convinced that Russia entered into a military alliance with Belarus precisely to attack European states and that all of Moscow's rhetoric is aimed at diverting attention. According to him, the attack will follow anyway, which means that it is necessary to prepare for it in advance by transferring as many American troops as possible to the Russian borders.

The expert proposes to move the headquarters of the American army from Germany to Poland and place an armored corps on its territory. In addition, on the territory of the "front-line" states, by which Gur probably means the Baltic States and Ukraine, it is proposed to place long-range artillery that can hit targets deep in the territory of Russia, and more troops.

Of course, Poland takes special attention in the expert's plans. Its troops are proposed to be equipped with the latest American weapons and adapted for joint operations with the United States. In his opinion, the creation of a "strike fist" on Russia's borders will make the Kremlin think about such an "unequivocal signal" and will also allow the United States to destroy targets on Russian territory from the very beginning of the conflict, without waiting for the transfer of troops from the United States.
