True, 21 amendments to the military budget will nevertheless be considered by the senators on an expedited basis. Among them are provisions on the introduction of a package of sanctions against the Russian pipeline in the event of an invasion of the Russian Federation troops into Ukraine.

Earlier, Biden refused restrictions against SP-2, citing two reasons for this decision. First, there is no point in sanctions, since the pipeline has already been completed. And secondly, the pressure on this project from the United States will in no way contribute to the establishment of warm relations with Germany and other European countries, that is, "transatlantic unity." This decision by the president has sparked a wave of controversy among American lawmakers.
