China struck out Lithuania from customs register

223

The confrontation between China and Lithuania has reached a new level, Lithuania will no longer be able to clear its goods through the Chinese customs, Beijing struck this country off the customs register. This was reported by the Lithuanian press with reference to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the republic.

As explained in the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry, Vilnius has requested assistance from the European Union, consultations are underway with the European Commission about the EU's reaction to this decision of the Chinese authorities. The Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists also confirmed the removal of Lithuania from the Chinese customs system. According to the president of the confederation, Vidmantas Janulevicius, now Lithuanian exporters have problems.

The Ministry has been informed about the probable barriers to the entry of Lithuanian products into China (...) we collect all possible information from the Chinese side about the imposed restrictions (...)

- reads the message of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania.

Recall that Taiwan has become a stumbling block between China and Lithuania. History began with the fact that Vilnius declared its readiness to "establish economic and diplomatic ties" with the Republic of China (Taiwan), or rather, to open a trade mission. In response, official Beijing announced the policy of one China and warned Lithuania that Vilnius's initiative could lead to a deterioration in relations between the countries.

Lithuania decided to oppose itself to China and, hiding behind slogans about the superiority of democracy, declared its readiness for a complete break with China. Former Prime Minister of Lithuania Saulius Skvernelis said that Vilnius is ready to break not only diplomatic, but also trade relations. In China, they are not used to throwing words around, so they first lowered the level of diplomatic relations, and then hit the Lithuanian economy, removing it from their customs systems. Now, for China, a trading partner from the Baltics simply does not exist.

And China has chosen the perfect country to set a precedent.
China does not need Lithuania at all, the turnover is scanty, so nothing has been lost.
The EU also needs Lithuania only as a springboard for missile launchers. No one will stand up for its economy.
            So I thought, and thought

If they paid, then, I think, they overpaid a lot. But in principle - Lithuania is not Sakhalin, what, in fact, China is interested in what and where will be deployed in Europe, who and where will hit with what missiles. China is a "cunning monkey".
This is the plot of traditional Japanese painting, but it completely sounds like "a cunning monkey sitting on a tree, watching how the fight between two tigers will end."

What is Lithuania and what is culture, where two and a half thousand years ago this story was described?

                  Michael. hi !
In our understanding, this is a monkey - a banderlog from "Mowgli". In Eastern philosophy - an intelligent and cautious animal. So America is definitely not a monkey. An elephant, damn it, in a china shop.

It so happened that I sign more with Japanese culture than with Chinese. And I heard this saying as a Japanese one. Although, in fairness - where do tigers come from in Japan? Well, it’s the Japanese who believe that their emperor was not made by dad and mom, but directly by heaven. And all Japanese are servants of the emperor. It means that they are also involved in heaven somewhere. In fact, I think Japanese culture is a derivative of Chinese culture. Only for several centuries an isolated derivative, therefore developing in its own, tightly closed direction. From there, perhaps, "tigers in Japan." winked

And I would say that our Plutocrat is in vain behaving like a kind of substance in the hole. The Chinese are great! Respect! And then he pretends to be a patriot and invests people's money in hostile and unfriendly countries Then he kneels in front of the Psheks and pulls us along with him, then he befriends the Bandera and hands over to Akhmetov Mariupol for little money. As a result of the sanctions, his only excuse is that the life of Russians for 8 years falls in poverty. Fundamentally not developing industry and montizing our life to zero, he makes Russian oligarchs richer. For all the humiliation of Ukraine, the EU and the United States of Russia, he stubbornly does not develop the industry focusing everything on gas. What will the filth leave our descendants? The boy banged on the table ... on the mine owners. And what! After all, Russia is on a raw material needle. Don't worry, as soon as the titanium raw materials from Ukraine are replaced with our own, and we also stop pumping gas through the GTS, the same Ukraine from the customs register will be deleted - one hell of a new Chinese Silk Road will completely go through the southern and northern ports of Russia and Belarus.

Before comparing the salary, you compare the costs with this salary in those countries that you cite. For food, utilities, taxes, the same fuel. And then I'm really interested in how Tribalts with walls in half a brick (at best, but like for mattresses made of plasterboard) they pay for heating with gas in 700 tanks? Taxes are higher just in Russia. Hratva is not more expensive. Excise goods are more expensive, but wages are still higher.

People come and go and there is nothing of the sort - in the EU, everyone does that. Over the years, it was about three percent of GDP. Now even less. I certainly understand the disappointment of the members of the forum lol , but - even to the mediocre results of the Baltic countries, Russia falls short. And gasneft doesn't help sad
It is worth noting that EU subsidies were targeted for certain projects, and most of them in the EU went to the purchase of building materials and machinery. Something like this.

That's for sure. Falls short. The consolidated budget of Latvia, for example, for 2020 - 9,89 billion euros, expenditures - 10 billion. The maximum amount of public debt by the end of the year is 11,75 billion, i.e. more than the country's annual budget. Truly, a success story ... Three and a half gifted people remained in the former fish cooperatives from Ragaciems to Kolka and beyond. Abandoned boiler houses (yes, there was centralized heating everywhere, now heaps of firewood near dilapidated houses), ruins of department stores. And everyone is trying to give you some smoked fish from the catch. Delicious, I will not lie.

Yes, somehow they were modest about another component of the Baltic GDP - this is 4/5 - tax evasion of the EU (and CIS) trunks ended in a scandal with bosses from the United States, who ordered the disgrace to be stopped, and the money, how many of them were circulating there, scheme - to confiscate and give to "real" owners (the list of real owners was attached). Otherwise, you have come up with: the goods were both produced in Europe and are produced, and the documents went through Estonia and Latvia with zero VAT. The profit, of course, was endorsed and recorded in the GDP.

Finns have been going to Estonia for a long time for booze and horing. In the Russian Federation, the Finns, mainly from the border regions to the crown, drove for gasoline, cigarettes and vodka. And not in St. Petersburg (why the extra 150 km?), But everything was organized right there - right after the transitions, gas stations and shops, and next to cafes to sit out for a couple of hours, because according to the rules, you cannot immediately go back.
By the way, Estonians also traveled to Ivangorod and Kingisepp.

All these tales, retellings of drunken anecdotes from someone they once heard, may work for people "from the depths of Siberian ores", but for those who saw how everything really is, they only cause laughter

GDP per capita is higher. But only because of the small population. And their GDP has nowhere to grow, since the volume of the economy has reached its limit, insignificant growth is provided exclusively due to purely financial factors

The quality is not bad. Polite. It is only necessary to make an appointment with a doctor for a long time and wait for several weeks, and in some cases months. While in Russia you can get to the doctor in 1 day in a paid clinic equipped no worse, and sometimes better than in Switzerland, for 3 tr (35 francs - a penny).
Ambulances do not go, only to all sorts of accidents with victims, but with your strokes you yourself get to the hospital (or better stay at home, as far as possible, the assigned doctor will come in, anyway, they will not be admitted to the hospital without his referral).
Children's diseases are not cured - give nurofen, it will pass. All serious chronic diseases are treated as planned.
Medicines (real) are not sold in pharmacies - only from doctors, according to the results of admission and examination.
Most of the Swiss, and 80% are hard workers who work in factories and farms with a salary of 2,5-3 thousand francs, are not treated at all. Whoever can - they try to be treated in Germany, it is better there. Expats are treated and examined on vacation in their home country.
There may be Rockefeller heart transplant clinics there, but this is not for the local population.
The only good thing is the climate, beautiful nature, free high school, free sale of weapons and cheap booze. The last 2 points make up 90% of the leisure of the population.
And yes. There, only in 1981, a law was passed to abolish forced child labor, in fact, slavery.

About bus drivers with a salary of 6 tons of francs, especially Italians (gee gee, Italians are guest workers, and only in the south in Ticino, they work as janitors and cashiers in stores).
Nonsense about real estate and insurance. Insurance is different, but even the most expensive will never cover treatment in exclusive clinics. And you will not go to any "other" hospital, because there is exactly one large hospital in the canton. And small praxises are most often private doctors' offices in a rented apartment, converted into an office, where you can only get an examination, pass the simplest tests and get a referral to the hospital.
For information in Switzerland, the insurance covers treatment in other countries, even in Russia. And this was done on purpose, as the government understands the shortcomings of its own medicine.

And I don't travel. And for many years in Switzerland, and not some useless IT tosser, but a "high-ranking servant of capital".

So do not retell nonsense, one grandmother said, but listen to what they say from places.
Otherwise, having crap in one aspect, you undermine the credibility of all your other statements.
I'm not telling you about life in England

Tomorrow it will come to me or someone else from the head office that it is better to transfer all this IT halabudia to some Asturias or even to Romania, and hire Indians, because although they need to pay more than the accommodating and ready for everything Balts, they are smarter and work better. I make a presentation and that's it, six months later our heroes went to raise the fish collective farms to their homeland. Well, or in the same crepey Ireland, in some Akksench to beat the rapids - uncles, take at least the floors to wash. Lmao.

Lithuania is clearly a bargaining chip.
      USA vs China Global Game,
firstly, they did nasty things to China about Taiwan, a diplomatic demarche, another country recognizing Taiwan's independence.
Second, China has abandoned one of the many options for trade routes.
Thirdly, a deterioration in relations with one of the small countries, small but still negative.
Fourth, through Lithuania, they will be dirty on Taiwan in the long term, the EU now has an official representation of Taiwan.
Fifth, the anti-Chinese lobby in Brussels will have additional cards that will be used in the EU-China gap game.

Nothing that would fatally or significantly change the alignment in anti-Chinese politics.

There are cunning people in Lithuania ... But no matter how they beat themselves.

Let's think: they probably agreed with Taiwan on trade preferences (the trade mission, after all, was opened), they can get a number of goods more profitable than other EU countries. Otherwise, why such a demarche? Taiwan will pay the price it deserves for this political service.
That is, they will be able to preferentially import some positions of microelectronics and industrial products into the customs territory of the European Union, and in light of the shortage of semiconductors, the European Commission will turn a blind eye to this, also by an unwritten agreement. Profitable.

At the same time, they are also in the EU, there are no customs borders. Lithuania can receive Chinese goods through any other EU member. Latvia, for example ... Well, you don't need to teach anyone to export your products in the same way, in the post-Soviet space you don't need to teach anyone!
Both Taiwan and China import food. And the Baltics have now lost a large market in the light of Russia's food counter-sanctions. The label is glued correctly - and on the road.

For the anti-Chinese move, the Lithuanians are shaking hands and nodding approvingly to the United States, "the deflection is counted."

That is, Lithuanian officials are confident that they have beaten everyone ... The EU and the US are also in positive territory in their own way. In general, as if they won, they agreed with the allies.
However, China can already respond economically to "decision-making centers" by introducing additional duties and tightening control. There, too, not stupid people work, the Chinese know how to trade. And it hurts to click on the striped ears that stick out of this story, they will be able to.

Let's see ... Political poker is in full swing, a small player is bluffing. And if a big wallet raises the stakes, then the conspirators run the risk of being left with empty pockets! hi
