Export versions of the Russian Mi-28NM and Ka-52M attack helicopters can be supplied to customers with the Product 305E multipurpose missile, this option is provided. This was stated by Sergey Mikhailov, Deputy Director General of the High-Precision Complexes holding.

According to a representative of the Russian holding, a new light multipurpose missile Product 305E may be included in the arsenal of Mi-28NM Night Hunter and Ka-52M Alligator attack helicopters intended for export. The new missile will significantly enhance the combat capabilities of helicopters on the battlefield, especially when armored vehicles and long-term shelters are hit. TASS.

Mikhailov stressed that Product 305E was the first Russian multipurpose missile designed to destroy all types of targets. Previously, two types of missiles were used for this - one for armored vehicles, the second for the rest, this principle was implemented in the development of the Ataka missiles.

The new light multi-purpose guided missile (LMUR) "product 305E" has a mass of 105 kg with a warhead of 25 kg. The declared guaranteed defeat of armored vehicles or enemy shelters is 14,5 km at any time of the day and in any weather. Designed to complement the 9M120-1 Ataka family of guided missiles in the attack helicopter armament complex, it is adapted to both the Ka-52M and the Mi-28NM. At the same time, it is possible to introduce it into the armament complex of other helicopters, as well as strike drones.

The missile was developed by the Kolomna Machine-Building Design Bureau (KBM) and was first demonstrated at the Army-2021 international forum. Currently in series production.
