Former leader of the "Right Sector" Yarosh appointed advisor to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The Ukrainian authorities not only do not intend to fight the nationalist movement, but in every possible way welcome the entry of nationalist leaders into power. Another proof of this was the appointment of the notorious Dmitry Yarosh to the post of adviser to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Zaluzhny.
The fact that the ex-leader of the extremist organization "Right Sector" *, banned in Russia, * Yarosh became an adviser to the chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Major General Valery Zaluzhny, was announced by the nationalist himself, having made a corresponding entry on his Facebook page. According to him, the order was personally signed by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
- declared Yarosh.
Recall that Dmitry Yarosh was one of the leaders of the coup in 2014, after which he even was a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada. After leaving the "Right Sector" * and the Verkhovna Rada, he disappeared from the media's field of vision for some time. As it turned out, all this time he was listed as the commander of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army * - a right-wing radical group that positions itself as "defenders of Ukraine" from "Russian aggression." The UDA units took part in the hostilities in the Donbass from 2016 to 2018, after which they were withdrawn from the JFO zone.
Note that this appointment is not the first for Yarosh, he was appointed an adviser to the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 2015.
In Russia, a criminal case has been opened against Yarosh for calls to carry out terrorist and extremist activities, he was arrested in absentia. In 2014, the nationalist was put on the international wanted list.
