The Lithuanian Ministry of Defense publishes information on the completion of the Iron Wolf 2021 military exercises. In addition to the Lithuanian servicemen, their counterparts from other NATO countries, including the United States, took part in the maneuvers.
It is reported what specific operations were practiced during one of the stages of the maneuvers near the border with Belarus. This is an operation in which American Tanks abrams.

Among other things, German tanks also took part in practicing a series of offensive and defensive operations. These are Leopard armored vehicles, which, during the maneuvers, played for the so-called "blue units". Special blue crosses were applied to the sides of German tanks, red "oblique" crosses - on the sides of the tanks of the American military contingent.
At one of the stages of the maneuvers on the territory, which appeared in the form of a "geographically expanded range" (NATO interpretation), an Abrams tank was seen flying the Lithuanian flag.
It is stated that this is a demonstration of interaction between the countries of the North Atlantic Alliance.
In the reports of the Lithuanian Ministry of Defense, it is said that the exercises with a series of offensive and defensive operations were carried out at a training ground, on a part of which there is an imitation of urban development. From the Lithuanian side, servicemen of the motorized rifle battalion named after the Grand Duke of Lithuania Algirdas took part in the maneuvers
Units of the Spanish armed forces also took part in the maneuvers in Lithuania, having transferred their armored vehicles to the Baltic states.
