Exercise Rapid Trident: US and Canadian military personnel direct the aircraft to carry out a simulated air raid at a military training ground in Ukraine
In Ukraine, the multinational exercises Rapid Trident 2021 (in fact, together with the "United Efforts-2021" maneuvers) are being held with the participation of the NATO military contingent. One of the stages of the exercise was the imitation of the implementation of air strikes on the territory of one of the training grounds in western Ukraine.
Attention is drawn to the fact that the American and Canadian military personnel carry out the aiming of aircraft at the target when simulating an air raid. Moreover, on the part of the Americans - the servicemen are not the US Army, but the Washington State National Guard. A group of servicemen to participate in the above-mentioned exercises on the territory of Ukraine arrived from the Murray military base.
As a result of data transmission from the ground, F-18 combat aircraft appear in the sky. Both fighter-bomber aircraft are reportedly owned by the Canadian Air Force. They were recently relocated to Ukraine.
Following them at a relatively short distance, while apart, a Su-27 fighter of the Ukrainian Air Force (Air Force of the Armed Forces) appears.
The execution of a simulated airstrike in the NATO military command was called a demonstration of coherence, demonstrated in the Rapid Trident exercise.

After performing a simulated strike on ground targets, the next stage began, which implied the landing of a parachute assault from an American military transport aircraft:
In Ukraine itself, in this regard, it is stated that the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on their own territory at a number of stages of military exercises perform the role of extras. The maximum that NATO partners trust them is support for air operations.
