Russian Su-35S "intercepted" the American strategic bomber B-52H

Russian fighters were taken into the air to "intercept" the American B-52H strategic bomber heading towards the Russian border in the Pacific Ocean. This is reported by the National Center for Defense Management.

According to the report, on Sunday, September 26, air defense systems of the Eastern Military District detected an air target moving towards the Russian border over the neutral waters of the Pacific Ocean. In order to identify the air target, as well as to prevent a possible violation of the airspace, three Su-35S fighters of the air defense forces on duty were taken into the air.

Russian fighters "intercepted" the American strategist, identified him as a B-52H strategic bomber of the US Air Force Global Strikes Command and escorted him. The crew of the American bomber, seeing the Russian planes, made a U-turn and went in the opposite direction from the Russian borders.

It is emphasized that there was no violation of the border, the Russian fighters, making sure that the "American" went back, landed at the airfield of deployment.

It should be noted that the American B-52N strategic bombers periodically “probe” the Russian defenses in the Far East and Kamchatka, occasionally they are joined by B-1B Lancer. From the side of the Baltic and the Black Sea, the "movement" is more active, both reconnaissance aircraft, anti-submarine, and reconnaissance aircraft are "spinning" near the Russian borders drones.

How do you like this news? I apologize for being off-topic, but the news is kind of long-awaited.
The first sea tests of an anaerobic, air-independent, power plant (VNEU) for non-nuclear submarines will definitely take place in 2022, if this does not work out, said the general director of the United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC) Alexei Rakhmanov.

The main advantage of VNEU is an increase in the stealth of the submarine. The submarine gets the opportunity to be under water without surfacing to charge the batteries.

“I would like to [start sea trials] this year. But if it does not work out, then in 2022 we will definitely show it. The question is not simple, complex. The installation itself has already been created, all physical principles have been implemented. In the near future, a floating structure will appear, a real compartment will be tested, ”Rakhmanov said.

He explained that there is a laboratory facility that works on land, and now the task is to test it on water.

“Two companies - Rubin and Malakhit - are developing the installation, each of them has its own successes, we will promote both concepts,” said the head of USC.

According to him, work on the creation of a prototype VNEU is being carried out through the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

God grant that the tests go smoothly and on schedule. This will be a landmark event both for the fleet and for Russia as a whole, as it will allow the resumption of the export of modern submarines, where not so long ago we occupied not a small piece of the market. In terms of value for the country, this is no less than obtaining hypersonic weapons.

Yes. But I would also like the 677 series of the project (Lada) with VNEU for the Russian Navy. Moreover, the 677 project, judging by the news, was still finished.

And what is not news? Or is it news when there are already nuclear strikes? For someone it is routine work, but for someone it is news for the layman.

As I understand it, American B-52s fly to our eastern borders from their base in Guam.
You need to understand that for the Americans this is only a demonstration of their presence and training of crews for flights in this region. Although there they fly regularly from Guam to Alaska, on the contrary, in rotation.
They often visit their Japanese / South Korean bases.
From a military point of view, there is nothing special here - on their sides there can be strategic missile launchers with a flight range of more than 2000 km, therefore, in order to defeat targets on the Pacific coast of our Far East, they do not need to fly up close to unmask themselves.
But there is one but. These are the naval mines that these bombers can carry. And this could be an attempt to mine the water areas through which the Pacific Fleet's nuclear submarines will try to break into the Pacific Ocean in a threatening period.

To mine the exit of the nuclear submarine from the base, it is necessary to plant mines directly at the exit from Avacha Bay, literally in our territorial waters. Otherwise, further depths allow you to go in any direction.

In the title - "interception", in fact not, since there was no violation of the borders.
According to this formulation, of course.
"Interception - in aviation, the approach of an air defense aircraft (interceptor aircraft) to an air intruder ship in order to identify him, instruct his crew on violation and subsequent removing the intruder outside the restricted area or escort to the nearest landing airfield "
As I understand it, the "author" of the "article - lightning" simply earns line by line, creating information noise.

You have written above that the link. Practicing target interception by a link. If so, then we can talk about interception. Of course, there was no question of any violation of the boundaries of speech. We run about at their borders, they rub against ours, routine. Question to the author of the article must the news be fried?

The question is correctly asked - "Why are there three SU 35s at once?"
They are on duty in pairs. 4 aircraft in the remote control.
Two pilots in the building of the Duty Force, and two in reinforcement.
Raising one plane is routine, two at once is something serious, but to raise a couple, cause a boost and raise another side, this is something out of the ordinary ...
      Or has something changed?

And is it important? Well, we decided to work on three sides. There is all the cheese boron, that they did not allow the "violation" of the border))) The B-52 was eager to break in directly, and if we take into account the possible nuclear weapons (who knows it), then the salvation of the world is straightforward.
