In order to identify the air target, as well as to prevent a possible violation of the airspace, three Su-35S fighters of the air defense forces on duty were taken into the air.

Russian fighters "intercepted" the American strategist, identified him as a B-52H strategic bomber of the US Air Force Global Strikes Command and escorted him. The crew of the American bomber, seeing the Russian planes, made a U-turn and went in the opposite direction from the Russian borders.

It is emphasized that there was no violation of the border, the Russian fighters, making sure that the "American" went back, landed at the airfield of deployment.
