A US Air Force training plane crashed in a city in Texas: the pilots could not take it away from residential areas

The United States confirms reports of the loss of a military aircraft. Earlier, in social networks corresponding to the American segment of the Global "Web", information appeared that the US Air Force had lost the TCB (training aircraft). At the moment, this kind of information is confirmed by the American military command.

It is known that the plane crashed in Texas. At the same time, special attention is drawn to the fact that American pilots could not take the TCB away from residential areas of the city.

Everything happened in the area of the settlement of Lake Worth (Texas). According to the latest reports, the plane crashed in the private territory of this city. At the same time, the local police department reports that as a result of the fall of the plane of the US Air Force, two houses in the city in question were damaged, and several people were injured. The nature of the injuries has not yet been officially reported. According to unconfirmed reports, they were hospitalized with injuries and burns.

At the same time, local authorities call the exact address of the place where the training aircraft fell. This is Adam Grubb Street, T-Ax 76135. This is a fairly densely populated area of Texas. In this regard, the plane crash in this area in itself cannot but cause concern. The reason for the fears is that the plane crash could well lead to numerous casualties. This, fortunately, did not happen. However, the fact that the plane could not be taken away from the residential sector is alarming.

At the moment, the US Air Force is reporting a preliminary version of the reasons for the fall of the TCB. It is noted that the plane could have crashed due to a piloting error. According to the latest reports, the student pilot and instructor ejected. Their lives are out of danger. The names of those on board the training aircraft have not yet been announced. Both, according to the local press, are in one of the Texas clinics.

It is known that the fall of the TCB caused a fire in two blocks at once. After a while, the fire was extinguished. Representatives of the formed commission are working at the crash site.

Earlier it was reported that the plane crashed in Florida. The confusion may be related to the fact that both of these US states have territories called Lake Worth (Lake Worth).

Anything happens. But the Soviet pilots were able to.
But trouble can come in peaceful days, putting you before a choice - to live yourself or save the lives of others?
In April 1966, this was the fate of two Soviet pilots, Boris Kapustin and Yuri Yanov.
On April 6, they received an order to transfer the Yak-28 bomber to another airfield. Not the most difficult task, but its implementation had to be postponed due to bad weather.
The "welcome" for departure was received only at 15:00. At half past four, a link of aircraft took off, reaching an altitude of 4000 meters. The bombers laid down on a given course, but soon Boris Kapustin's Yak-28 began to have problems. The plane began to rapidly lose speed.
Kapustin, the leader of the aviation link, ordered his wingman, Captain Podberezkin: "Fly on, I'm coming back."
An almost incredible thing happened to the Yak-28 - both engines failed at the same time. Experts believed that the failure of two independent systems is almost impossible, but this is exactly what happened on the plane of Kapustin and Yanov.
The Yak-28 was irresistibly pulled towards the ground, which was not visible due to cloudiness. The pilot, gliding in circles, tried to start the engines. When the car emerged from the clouds, deviating from the course, under it was a huge city - Berlin.
The count went on in seconds. In such a situation, the crew had to eject. But the car, which had almost lost the remnants of control, fell on the densely populated quarters of Berlin. This meant the death of hundreds of people on earth.
Boris Kapustin decides to take the Yak-28 to the outskirts.
    - Yura, you have to jump, - said the commander.
    - Boris Vladislavovich, I'm with you, - the navigator answered.
This response was not thoughtless bravado or bravado. Yuri Yanov knew that his ejection would violate the aerodynamics of the falling plane, and the pilot would not be able to keep it in the air further, which means it would not be able to take it away from people. Therefore, he stayed with his commander.
There was still a chance to direct the plane to a nearby forest, which should have allowed both of them to eject. But the forest turned out to be a cemetery, which just that day was filled with living people - on Easter day, the Germans visited their deceased relatives.
In the mid-1960s, the height of the ejection was limited, and while the Yak-28 went to the outskirts, it became below the maximum permissible.
Boris Kapustin did not give up. The last chance was a splashdown on the Havel River or Lake Stessensee. With incredible efforts, the pilot brought the plane to the water.
But in front of the plane, a dam rose from the highway, along which cars were rushing. With his last effort, Kapustin managed to raise the Yak-28 over the dam, saving the lives of motorists. Having lost speed, the plane with a large inclination went under the water, burying itself in a deep layer of silt at the bottom of Lake Stessensee. Yak-28 crashed in the English sector of Berlin, just a few hundred meters from the Soviet zone
On April 8, a mourning ceremony was held to transfer the remains of Soviet pilots to representatives of the Group of Soviet Forces in Germany. The Royal Orchestra arrived from Great Britain to hand over the bodies of the fallen soldiers.
The burgomaster of West Berlin, Willy Brandt, said: “We can proceed from the assumption that both of them at the decisive moments realized the danger of falling into densely populated areas, and turned the plane towards Lake Stessensee. This meant giving up their own salvation. I say this with grateful recognition to the victim who prevented the catastrophe. "

Anything happens. But the Soviet pilots were able to.

That's exactly what happens. There are situations when the plane cannot be physically withdrawn, for example - loss of control or failure of the control system, even through redundant channels, as was the case with the Yak-130 in Belarus.

So I say, anything can happen. But to be honest, with the idea of the value of OWN, not someone else's life, cultivated in the West, I am not surprised by this.

I do not want to slander anyone, but any training is created with an eye to "the fool". Those. a green cadet who can do any game. And therefore, the reliability and controllability, even in emergency situations, at the flying desk must be the highest. And here - the first question, why did the TCB fly over the city? The second is why ... well, yes, I see. Your life is more precious. But for a cadet, this is even more or less forgivable. Why didn't the instructor try to reach the city limits?

so they fly here ... especially when the next window dressing. so helicopters fly over all the villages in front ... there are no fields.

In Europe, yes, everyone is sitting on each other's heads, but Texas is one of the territorially largest states, moreover, not particularly populated (well, illegal Mexicans, but who counts them).

The pilots cannot be blamed for not being taken away from their homes. The situation can develop rapidly, the terrain there is densely populated in the areas of military bases.

Could not or did not want to? what Once they were able to eject and are alive and well, then most likely they did not want to. Ours somehow manage to turn away, even if you have to pay with your life. These seem to have decided that their shirt is closer to the body. Mentality, you understand. https://politikus.ru/army/47429-nagradit-posmertno-kak-piloty-cenoy-sobstvennoy-zhizni-spasali-goroda-i-sela.html
