In Ukraine, they announced the completion of the pre-trial investigation in the case, the main person involved in which is the notorious Donbass militia commander Igor Bezler. He is known under the call sign "Bes", which he received long before the events in Ukraine. The SBU press service informs about the completion of pre-trial investigative measures.

The message says that the indictment has been formulated and sent to the court.



What is Igor Bezler accused of in Ukraine?

According to the SBU, Bezler is accused of "organizing and committing cruel treatment of the civilian population of Ukraine", as well as "organizing premeditated killings."

SBU:

Bezler committed a number of crimes against the peace and security of mankind, against international law and order.

Reportedly, he faces from 8 years in prison to life in prison.

It is reported that Bezler has already been summoned to a trial in Kiev. At the same time, it is not reported where exactly the agenda is directed ...

For reference: Igor Bezler - Major General, commanded the Donbass people's militia in 2014 in Horlivka. Back in the fall of 2014, the Ukrainian prosecutor's office brought charges against him under several articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, including “kidnapping”. By "abduction", obviously, was meant the capture of Ukrainian servicemen by the Donbass militia.

It is noteworthy that in relation to the commanders of the so-called "volunteer battalions" of Ukraine, who really rampaged in Donbass, Kiev is clearly in no hurry to initiate criminal cases and bring them to court.
