Afghan officials call conditions for cooperation with Taliban
The Afghan authorities are ready to cooperate with the Taliban * movement (banned in Russia as a terrorist movement), but under certain conditions. This was stated by Afghan Foreign Minister Mohammad Hanif Atmar.
In an interview with "News" he explained that the government of the country is ready to conclude peace with the Taliban under one, but important condition - a refusal to support terrorism. According to the Afghan minister, Afghanistan should not pose a threat to any country in the world, and internal affairs should be decided by the will of the Afghan people.

Meanwhile, the Taliban have promised a quick death to Afghan President Ashraf Ghani. According to the movement's statement, Ghani's time has expired and will be done away with. According to Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid, the movement is waging a just war against national traitors and will bring it to an end.
Ghani, in turn, accused the Taliban * of brutality and lack of desire for peace. The Afghan president stressed that the Taliban are not seeking negotiations, trying to change the situation in the country in order to speak from a position of strength.
Meanwhile, fighting between government forces and the Taliban continues in the country's fifteen provinces. Particularly violent clashes take place in the province of Herat, where the militants are trying to take the city of the same name, which is the administrative center. In addition, the Taliban are not abandoning their attempts to take Kandahar and Lashkar Gah, in which their target is the local prison.
