In Ukraine, repair of engines for military equipment was entrusted to private owners
The next two tenders for the overhaul of a large number of diesel engines from the package of the April orders of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine were preliminarily won by the private Promenergo. The total amount that the military is ready to spend on the renovation is about 60 million hryvnia (163 million rubles).
These data were published on the Ukrainian public procurement portal ProZorro.
In Ukraine, the repair of engines for military equipment was entrusted to private traders, who obtained this contract without any particular difficulties.
The private company will have to repair 120 UTD-20 engines that are used in the BMP-1 and BMP-2. In addition, they were entrusted with the repair of 25 power units D12A-525, D12A-525A, 5D20-K-300, 5D20-B-300, V-46-4, V-46-2S1 installed on MAZ-7310, BMD and SAM "Buk" and other equipment.
At the same time, the only company, without competitors, participated in the tender for the first contract for the repair of 120 engines. The amount of this contract was 40 million hryvnia (130,5 million rubles). In the second tender, Promenergo was declared the winner, despite the fact that it did not have the most favorable price offer.
Earlier in April, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine posted on the public procurement portal a whole series of applications for updating trucks, tractors, tanks and other military equipment.
