Marines of the Armed Forces of Ukraine worked out a counterattack under the cover of Georgian armored vehicles

At the international exercises Agile Spirit - 2021 taking place in Georgia, Ukrainian marines conducted joint tactical exercises with the Georgian army. According to the official publication of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine "ArmyInform", the divisions of the two armies worked out counterattacks.
The exercises were held at the Orfolo training ground, from the Ukrainian side, soldiers of the combined company of the Naval Forces of Ukraine took part in them. Within the framework of the exercises, the movement on foot, on equipment, as well as the conduct of a counterattack were practiced. In addition, the Ukrainian servicemen have practiced bringing NATO standard weapons into battle - M249 machine guns and M4 rifles, which are in service with the Georgian army.
As noted, during the practice of counterattacking actions of the Ukrainian marines, the armored vehicles of the Georgian army, consisting of the BMP-2, as well as the armored vehicles of the Georgian production Didgori-1, Didgori-2, were covered. It is emphasized that the armored vehicles were operated by mixed Ukrainian-Georgian crews.
