There is information about the new capabilities of the modernized complex "Adjutant"
Russian universal target complex "Adjutant" will be able to imitate a swarm drones, a new modification of the UMTK is going to be developed at the Izhevsk Electromechanical Plant (IEMZ) "Kupol". This is reported TASS with reference to the specialist of the Target Complexes project Alexander Dushkin.
According to a representative of the developer, at present, the complex can lift up to six targets into the air at the same time, creating various scenarios of an air attack. However, this is not enough to create a swarm of drones. Therefore, it was decided to carry out a large-scale modernization of the project, after which it will be possible to combine the two complexes into a single system. In addition, it is planned to increase the number of targets used and improve their characteristics.
Today, the Adjutant target complex uses four types of targets, which represent: rockets, propeller driven aircraft, jet aircraft and helicopters. The complex itself is mobile and is placed on a KamAZ chassis with a trailer. The control room has 2 automated workstations for operators, allowing you to simultaneously control six air targets to create a complex air environment in various configurations.
UMTK "Adjutant" was developed by JSC "IEMZ" Kupol "together with JSC" Concern East Kazakhstan region "Almaz-Antey" in close cooperation with the Ministry of Defense within the framework of the technical assignment. artillery complexes State tests of the complex were completed in April this year.
