The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation will receive the first batch this year from the Omsk Transport Machine Building Plant Omsktransmash, which is part of the Uralvagonzavod concern. tanks T-80BVM. This was announced today by the press service of the plant.
The message indicates that the equipment was sent in accordance with the state defense order. How many tanks the military will receive is not specified.
Before shipment, the quality of the dispatched armored vehicles, the condition of its mechanisms and systems, and compliance with the required characteristics were checked. Prior to that, the car was tested only in the cold season, and recently it passed summer tests. During the check, the tank crossed a specially built reservoir for this and made a march of five thousand kilometers.
T-80BVM have proven themselves excellently in recent years; they have an undeniable advantage when operating at low temperatures. This year we have proved that they are combat-ready in any other conditions.

The previous batch was shipped by the Omsktransmash plant in December last year. Before shipment, it was also thoroughly tested in the workshop and in field tests.
