Afghanistan as a "graveyard of empires"

11

The United States recently announced that the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan is almost complete. At the moment, several hundred American military personnel remain in this country - mainly special forces, whom they plan to leave as instructors for the Afghan army.

Experts assess the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan differently. Some are confident that the Americans have suffered the biggest fiasco since the end of the Vietnam War. Others believe that Washington's decision is well-considered. For example, it is argued that in this way the Americans can "push" the militants to cross-border crossing - for example, to carry out attacks in the republics of Central Asia and further destabilize the Russian borders. It is also added that it is in the interests of the United States to increase the activity of militants in the "Uyghur direction" - with the aim of hindering the development of China and sowing such serious strife.

Mikhail Leontyev reflects on the situation in Afghanistan and around it against the background of the withdrawal of the NATO military contingent in the program "However". The plot recalls that Afghanistan has long been called the "graveyard of empires." Will this country become one for the United States of America?

So what is the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan: a fiasco or a verified provocation.

"Cemetery of empires", a banal cliché far-fetched to Afghanistan.

The introduction and withdrawal of foreign troops to (from) Afghanistan is not the reason for the collapse of one or another empire, since the collapse of empires has much deeper roots of their internal state, and in this case it is simply stupid to wait for the collapse of the United States by this coincidence.

In the historical periods of time known to modern inhabitants of the Earth, the Roman Empire and Byzantium have long rested in Bose, the Habsburg Empire (Austria-Hungary), the Ottoman and Russian Empires and other empires of the world collapsed, without even touching the present territory of Afghanistan.

I would like to believe that the militants will not disappoint and will explode with laughter in Xinjiang, thus plunging China into the long-term Afghan meat grinder. We will only have to count the Chinese losses and losses (huge), gloatingly rubbing our palms when a story about the next numerous Chinese war crimes breaks out on the air - just one can expect a truly Cuban scale of the Sanctions against China, from this - the growth of internal discontent (cases in Hong Kong show that there and now it is not very calm, an excellent trend), riots, revolutions, separatism, civil war, intervention and occupation, the Yugoslav bloody scenario of collapse and the general Chinese Hatred of the Han people ... Everything is on hand. China will be poor and backward.

There is also a downside - China will populate the liberated Afghan with its "ignorant", the locals will dissolve in their genes - and for those China 2! wassat And China is very scrupulously studying all the hostilities of the USSR and the Russian Federation, not to mention other countries. How the USSR will inject its surplus $ into Afghanistan, into its structure, build Chinese schools, launch a satellite for broadcasting the primordial Afghan-Chinese culture. Moreover, the Afghans' trust in the Naglo-Saxons is close to zero. Why is this fantastic option not realistic?

Yes, this is an alarming option, but there is opposition to it. Work with India, work with Pakistan. In no case should the final victory of China be allowed.

"Fiasco" is the process of bringing American troops into this country and no matter how events develop on this piece of the Earth, this war will be inscribed in the DEFEATS of the USA

And no one is talking about the collapse of the empire. A lot of empires were burned about Afghanistan, they lost their authority and a lot of money there ...

The fact that the United States withdrew its troops from Afghanistan is nothing new. They woke up from defeat in Vietnam, and the collapse of the USSR gave them even more confidence in their exclusivity and permissiveness. Therefore, they easily attack and leave the defeated ones with the same ease. third world countries, and no one is a decree to them, neither the UN nor humanism nor decency ... They were not going to help Afghanistan in terms of the economy, they did not even want to instill democracy there, but they were solving their purely internal political goals And most likely we need to wait for a new invasion of the next Yes, and the USSR was far from being defeated in that war, and according to some conclusions it could have come out victorious, morally and financially supported the power of Najibullah ... It was ruined by internal betrayal So I would not call Afghanistan a cemetery of empires

"So what is the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan: a fiasco or a verified provocation." Both. A fiasco for the United States and a provocation of the United States for Russia and China. Nice move from Biden's side. Having completely collapsed the remnants of the economy that the USSR once created, now all these tribes of armed Taliban, which need to be fed, need to be sent to the north. There is already a headache for Russia and China

We have such a popular wisdom - "Do not bury yourself in someone else's, and then you will not lose what is yours." At one time, Afghanistan asked Russia for help in weapons. They were offered help in manpower. The Afghan representative objected, "Then you will be considered occupiers."

What is the "graveyard of empires"? A permanently disorganized country of savages. How do some people walk around the entrance yard ... Do they have any kind of air force there? Do they at least control their airspace?
This nonsense that the Americans were "defeated" there is generally childish talk. the Americans solved their problems, they did not build schools and hospitals for the savages. Now they are coming out because the circumstances have changed, and how do they “come out”? They will bend their interests there, in this region anyway.
