The construction of a new cartridge plant in Ukraine, announced in early June, will take at least four years. This was stated by the chairman of the board of the Ukrainian state-owned company "Artem" Vladimir Zimin.

According to the head of the company, the contract concluded by Ukroboronprom with the Canadians for the construction of the cartridge plant will be fulfilled, and Ukraine will definitely receive its own production of cartridges. He allotted four years for the construction of the plant, and this with timely financing of the project.

Zimin assured that land plots in different parts of the country have already been prepared for the project, all that remains is to choose the right one. Ukraine's problems with high-quality brass in Kiev are promised to be solved by the start of production.
