Former head of Zelensky's office called May 9 "a great funeral" and said that veterans were "not proud of this day"
The network is actively discussing the statements of the ex-head of the office of the President of Ukraine. We are talking about the statements of Andrey Bogdan in an interview with Ksenia Sobchak.
Perhaps the most actively discussed in Russia and Ukraine are the words of Bogdan, addressed through Sobchak to the President of the Russian Federation. Andrei Bogdan suggested that Vladimir Putin "take a step back." According to Bogdan, this will be associated with victory, with a strong state. This statement was made by the ex-head of Zelensky's office in relation to the Minsk agreements, which Kiev is going to rewrite once again. Earlier, many Ukrainian officials stated that the “clauses of the agreement” should be “swapped” or abandoned altogether. Quite recently, Leonid Kravchuk, the head of the Ukrainian delegation to the Trilateral Contact Group, said something similar.
Bogdan made other statements that attract special attention. For example, he commented on the celebration (or rather, non-celebration) in Ukraine on May 9.
Ksenia Sobchak asked a former high-ranking Ukrainian official if he thinks that May 9 should be celebrated with a parade and fireworks. The question itself looks like a provocation.
And this is the answer of Mr. Bogdan:
Further, Bogdan said that he had talked with the veterans and that they had told him that they were not proud of May 9, since "it is a tragedy for them."
Here Mr. Bogdan did not specify with which “veterans” he spoke, for whom May 9 was a “tragedy”. Apparently, with those who were defeated in the Great Patriotic War - for example, the Bandera accomplices of the Nazis.
Sobchak noted that she was personally proud of the fact that Soviet troops defeated the Nazis.
Sobchak:
Bogdan retorted with such a statement: "Then let's be proud of the fact that we fought together against the Mongol-Tatar yoke."
These answers vividly reflect the entire modern political situation in Ukraine - to transform the great history into a farce, and make heroes out of crooks.
