Why Russia is not Europe

313

Russia is a unique autocratic civilization, not the West and not the East. Therefore, attempts to integrate Russia into the Western (global) capitalist system and make it competitive within the global market turn into colonial dependence and collapse for the country's economy. And for the people - poverty and extinction.

The European choice

Supporters of the liberal-democratic project believe that Russia is a culturalhistorical and economic periphery, the outskirts of the West, European civilization. That in Russia it is possible to establish life according to Western standards. What is necessary to carry out full economic, cultural, socio-political and ideological integration with the West. Create a parliamentary republic, an independent judiciary, a market economy, political pluralism, and abandon dense remnants like Orthodoxy. And happiness will come.

Westerners have already twice arranged confusion in Russia: in 1917 and 1991. Russian autocracy and Soviet civilization were destroyed in order for Russia to become part of the Western world.

The problem is that Russia is a unique autocratic civilization, not the West and not the East. There is an excellent work on this subject by Slavophil Nikolai Danilevsky: “Russia and Europe”. The path of integration of Russia with the West, its loss of its national identity, “Russianness” ultimately leads to the collapse of Russian statehood, society, their death. The classic example of such a catastrophe is 1917-1920. After the 1991 disaster, events went according to a milder scenario, but the losses of Russia and the Russian people were also huge. At the same time, Russia did not get out of the state of the systemic crisis.

Why Russia is not America

The essence of Russianness is the primacy of spirit over flesh-matter, truth over law, justice and truth over money-grubbing, common over personal. Therefore, Russia and Russians can never become part of the West. Otherwise, it will not be Russians, but slaves of the “golden calf” - a consumer society, the predatory world of capitalism.

In the West, it has long been noted that the Russian centralized state, from which the Russian Empire and the Soviet Union would later emerge, arose contrary to all logic and science: without a common market, transport connectivity, developed commodity-money relations, access to warm seas, in conditions of constant enemy onslaught at almost all borders, northern, western, southern and eastern; having nothing of what made the great powers England, France, and then the USA. It turns out that the Russian state arose, survived and intensified in spite of all objective facts. That Russia is a unique phenomenon in the history of mankind.

In this regard, it is worth noting the wonderful book by Andrei Parshev, “Why is Russia not America?” Our geo-economic realities and all the senselessness and harmfulness of “market reforms” for Russia are perfectly described there. Parshev shows that Russia is the coldest Arctic subarctic country in the world with enormous temperature differences. Annual temperatures range from minus fifty in the winter to plus fifty in the summer. All over the world, similar conditions are only in Mongolia. And in one US state - Alaska (but it is still warmer than Chukotka). In the same Scandinavia it is much warmer than ours (the influence of warm ocean currents). Our climate is purely continental, in contrast to the marine climate of both Western Europe and America. Not to mention the subtropics and tropics of Africa, South America and Southeast and South Asia. We do not have a warm Gulf Stream, which washes the western coast of the USA and Canada, brings warmth to Europe, including the northern countries. And in our country the cold rises not only from south to north, but from west to east, deep into the continent. Even in sunny Turkestan (Central Asia), where you can die from the summer heat, snowstorms and frosts occur in winter.

Russians and other peoples of our civilization live in a "world refrigerator." Moreover, with the collapse of the USSR, we lost the warmest territories. What does this mean in geo-economic terms !? That we can never create a competitive economy. All the mantras of our liberals that they pronounce from the time of “perestroika” and “shock reforms” of the 90s to the present day, about a market economy, liberalization, privatization, competition, an energy superpower, etc., are not only useless, but also harmful . It is pointless and unprofitable to invest in Russia. The costs of building powerful buildings with thick walls with deep foundations, with central heating are too high. A lot of fuel must be spent on heating housing and factory buildings. Too much labor costs, which require capital, heated apartments, hearty food and warm clothes. The country has to pay huge expenses for maintaining the system of schools, hospitals, prisons, the armed forces, and the transportation system. All this is much more complicated and expensive than in France or in China. Russians, unlike the whole world, have to maintain a huge heating system. We do not have warm seas and ice-free rivers. Even highways come out more expensive and worse than world ones (not counting theft), as temperature changes tear the canvas.

In Europe there is no central heating. Our ordinary snowfall for the United States and England is a natural disaster. In the West, they can build large private houses from timber and plywood, without capital foundations, as we have garden houses. Without furnaces and heating systems, with "potbelly stoves". With a huge living area. From century to century in Russia there are more expensive and cramped rooms, with low ceilings, with deep foundations, thick walls and stoves. Even Canada is warmer than Russia. There, almost the entire population lives on the southern part of the coast, which is located on the latitudes of the southern part of Ukraine and is washed by warm currents. The rest of the territory is almost empty, it is developed on a rotational basis.

Our Primorye, geographically so close to Korea and Japan, is colder than them. The Kuril Islands separate the warm part of the Pacific Ocean from the cold. Kamchatka, Sakhalin, Vladivostok and North Korea are in the cold zone. In December, in Vladivostok and Pyongyang, the average temperature is minus six, and in South Korea - plus 4-8. Almost all of Japan is in the range from plus 2 to 10. On the coast of Canada at the same time the temperature is in Japan and South Korea. Each degree is hundreds of thousands of tons of fuel for heating, materials for insulation. In southern Norway, in December, where the bulk of the country's population lives, the temperature is from plus 2 to 4. The Norwegians do not freeze the sea, as in central Japan. Denmark is even warmer. In England, Ireland, Northern France, Belgium and Holland, on the Atlantic coast of Canada - an area of 6 to 10 degrees heat. Like in Shanghai and Tokyo!

Therefore, creating production and investing in it is more profitable in Europe than ours. Even more profitable - in the USA, in the tropics - in Asia and Latin America. Even in Africa it is more profitable, despite the monstrous theft and unwillingness of the local population to work. Therefore, the production basically left even from the USA, with what Trump is trying to fight. Russia in the conditions of the world market, open economic borders and free competition will always lose. Even with the general “optimization” of the system, education, health care, the economy, the army, etc. Factories are much more profitable to build in Mexico and Vietnam. The situation is the same in agriculture.

Thus, in a market economy, Russians can never achieve a level of well-being equal to the inhabitants of Western Europe and the United States. Therefore, the dream of Western standards is a blatant lie. Like the myths of "Russian laziness", "Russian slavery" and the "communist yoke" that threw Russia hundreds of years ago. Attempts to integrate Russia into the Western (global) capitalist system, to make it competitive, turn into colonial dependence and collapse for its economy. And for the people - poverty and extinction. Only a small pro-Western elite flourishes, which is “successful” under the colonial model.

Russian style

Obviously, copying the West is death for the Russian world. It is necessary to create your own, Russian style, autocratic world. Take the best that was in Ancient Russia, the Russian Empire, the Romanov Empire and Soviet civilization. We can live better than Westerners only when we build our cultural, scientific, technological and economic structure. We will break into the world of the future, where advanced technologies will allow us to fully master our vast and cold spaces.

As the current energy crisis shows, even attempts to become an energy power are in complete collapse. Russia cannot survive by selling only raw materials on the world market. Most of the country's population in such conditions "does not fit into the market." Oil and gas, almost all diamonds, cobalt, platinum group metals, apatites, copper, nickel, etc. are mined in the North of Russia. A significant part of forest and fish products are produced here. But all this is in the world in much more convenient places for mining. It is also more profitable to develop agriculture where it is warmer. For example, the agricultural sector of Bulgaria or Ukraine was needed only within the framework of the socialist camp. As soon as the social bloc was destroyed, the degradation of the national economy began, including the village, extinction and the flight of the population.

Russia is a “global refrigerator." And this means that even if Russian workers have productivity at the level of Japanese workers, and Russian engines and equipment become as economical as Western ones, if Russia solves the problem of thermal insulation of homes and industrial buildings, all in a global market, open borders and free competition, Russia will lose. Lose even with the full "optimization" of schools, hospitals, libraries, the army, etc. It will still be more profitable to invest in production in Mexico or Vietnam. For the same reason, all the constant spells that the Russian "responsible businessmen" are about to invest in Russia are either stupidity or outright deceit. Both “new Russians” earlier and current businessmen would be better off withdrawing money abroad by investing in real estate, yachts, airplanes, mistresses, etc.

Russia under the current scheme of participation in the global market is a raw materials appendage, no more. Moreover, as the current “Great Depression 2” shows, even the raw materials are of less interest to developed countries than before. The West relies on the transition to a new technological structure. And a hydrocarbon-based economy is a thing of the past. The bet on the "energy power" is practically a bit.

It is worth noting that the fact that the Russian Federation under Putin and Medvedev made very good money by selling resources is not the merit of the current “effective managers”, but of the USSR. Although the Soviet Union allegedly "produced only galoshes." Starting from the 1930s, at the expense of state funds and the mobilization of millions of workers in the North of Russia, a whole civilization was built: a network of cities, airfields, ports, railways and highways. The Soviet empire spent countless money (no one would have to spend it in the market), time and labor to transfer millions of tons of equipment and entire labor armies to the taiga and tundra, to develop found deposits, build mines and mines, factories and enterprises, pipelines. Including the current Gazprom. This allowed the USSR to create a super system that is resistant to any shock. However, private investors and market economies in the West would not do this.

All this has become the foundation of today's Russia, due to which the country still lives. This is not the merit of “effective managers”, who in the last decade, in essence, with their “wise” leadership, have killed this system, but of Soviet ministers, directors, engineers, geologists and workers. It was in the USSR that the northern industry was built with a huge margin of safety, which was enough even for the Russian Federation. But this situation does not last forever, as the current crisis shows.

The laws of geoeconomics are inexorable. Production is brought to where the climate is better, where labor is cheaper, costs are lower. This is true not only for Russia. The United States fell into the same trap. It is not for nothing that Trump is fighting to return production to the country, to make new industrialization. Otherwise, "good old America" will die.

The result is this: Russia cannot live in the so-called. the global market on an equal footing. A country cannot afford free trade. Only autarchy-autocracy. Nationalization of land, forests, bowels, strategic enterprises. Low energy prices inside the country, barriers to the import of finished goods that can be produced by ourselves. Import only unique machines and technologies. The export of raw materials is only in the public interest, it is necessary for the country itself. Either an exchange for other valuable raw materials that Russia does not have or lacks, or a redistribution of proceeds from the sale of raw materials to the development of advanced technologies.

You need to know that the “sweet life” of a consumer society, which was built in Russia, is bought at the expense of the export of unique mineral raw materials, at the expense of the future people. Moreover, within Russia itself, a free market is quite possible, with the heyday of small and medium-sized enterprises. Provided that the ruble will not change to currency. So that no one could export capital abroad.

Climatic determinism is evil, just like geography.

Germany is colder than France, and especially Spain, but it is much better developed.
Speaking about "cold" Russia, you need to understand that 80% of the total population lives in the European part, where there is no harsh climate.

Therefore, it is better developed. Not only Parshev wrote about this, Nikonov has a book about the impact of climate fluctuations on the rise and decline of civilizations. (I don’t remember the name for a snap, I read it for a long time).

Yes. Amazing things are happening - the people are now voting for the destroyers. And in all the votes.

For the drunk against whom every dog today, voted? Most!
        Maybe Medvedev had less support?
Yes tomorrow they will put Sobchak (or Navalny, for example), all are confused by a friendly system and they will vote for them, as for the amendments nullified.

          Another connoisseur.

Recently, some mountaineers of the "plains" wanted to win. There was a case in Abkhazia. Georgians (highlanders) settled down. The Plains approached the capital of the Highlanders ... but forgave the hot-tempered Highlanders.
And earlier, the "plains" "less passionately" got everyone around and ruled the Caucasus for many centuries.

And at any second the plains will stand up and "less passionately" will drive into the grave anyone who encroaches on our homeland.

Moreover, as many as two cities are fighting for this place: Norilsk and Yakutsk. There is no summer in Norilsk and winter is longer, but winter is colder in Yakutsk.

Colleague Vladimir 16. Before you cry, namely me, take an interest in starting with at least the official history of the war between Abkhazia and Georgia from 1992-1993. The war occurred when Abkhazia, still part of Georgia, was no longer a member of the Soviet Union, which had disintegrated earlier as a result of the treaty of December 8, 1991. For this reason, Russian troops could not participate and did not participate in the assault on Sukhumi! The Russian volunteers took part in the assault in the form of a large detachment of Basayev, which I, Depressant, saw with my own eyes. There were no Russians in this detachment, only Chechens. Everyone knew about this. The actions of the Russian military, who were still on the territory of Abkhazia, as they are still there, boiled down to only distributing weapons to the local militia from the arms depots of military units, as well as organizing the export of hundreds of thousands of vacationers from all over Abkhazia by trains, buses, and also cargo planes from the Gudauta military airfield. And that was all! I repeat, the assault on Sukhumi was carried out by the Basaevites along with the Abkhazians and the very few local Russians who were able to attract. More precisely, those who did not succeed in getting out, who did not manage to escape to Russia on time. After we, the Russians, suffered from the Abkhaz, this was not ours, not our war at all. I admit that there were some Slavic volunteers in the Abkhaz militia. This was discussed much later. But Ukrainians were mentioned.
And add more. The money that Basayev was supposed to pay was transferred to Gamsakhurdia, and therefore he did not move his sufficiently large army to Sukhumi to come to the rescue of the Georgian troops defending the city. That's why the Georgians still curse. This is how Sukhumi was actually taken.

Everything stated in the article is true. I once had a chance to listen to on television in the form of postulates. And even a note. General Leonid Grigoryevich Ivashov infinitely respected by me. Yes, the largest territory, the longest border, which means that a huge army is needed for protection. Very cold - incredible heating costs. The Russians are a flat people, which means they are less passionate than the highlanders. Need a king, general secretary, anyone - one-man management!
And here it would be necessary to pause. Advanced Russians, or if necessary able to quickly advance in a civilizational sense, Russians (this is our natural feature) are forced to drag on their shoulders to the European way of existence a huge number of peoples and nationalities that agree to this, go, but try to get off their shoulders and go on their own, forming system, not particularly visible. But the reproaches, ridicule and contempt, the essence of which boils down to one thing - hey, drove, so-and-so, and generally insignificance, you are badly lucky! Only the Tatars, due to the competitive features of our relations, have advanced, got off, confidently striding alongside and even sometimes overtaking. But they are not in a hurry to share the civilization burden with us. You think I don’t understand how difficult it is for the head of such a state? I understand perfectly! The USSR successfully solved the problem. Not allowed. I doubt that it is decided by capitalism, the example of the United States to help!
Where is the way out? Small nations and nationalities need to seriously get along in cultivating their tribal and feudal national characteristics, no longer children, get down, go alongside in the general system, contribute to science, art, literature, economics, but not on the basis of opposing us, but together. Grow up! We are seriously tired of dragging you. And if you want it separately, let’s see how the conditional West will balance you - it will balance you like that! Forget your name.

I think that you are wrong here, the country achieved the greatest success in development under Stalin. The form of government was much more complicated than one-man management, the principle of "democratic centralism" was in effect.

The level of consciousness (unsuccessful, probably the word) they have is low, mainly because they came "to socialism" from feudalism, and for example the Khiva Khanate, practically from the slave system. And the article also misses the point that European civilization was built on the ruins of the Roman Empire, some roads have been operating since those times. Russians, on the other hand, mostly colonized sparsely populated areas.

The author is right in many respects. For Russia, a centralized state is the optimal form of organization. We are a state-civilization with thousands of years of experience. Therefore, we do not need borrowing, but we must rely on our historical experience. Yes, the climate has played and will play a big role in the development of states. But not everything is so hopeless for us. Everything is flowing, everything is changing. And while the trend is for changes in our direction. 1) For development, in addition to climate, natural resources and minerals are required (including the presence of fertile lands, water resources of forests .Other countries are forced to buy everything, including hydrocarbons, timber, etc.) Here we are in a big plus; 2) The development of production is increasingly shifting towards robotization and computerization. It means that workers in production need significantly (by orders of magnitude ) less, only for servicing complex lines and robots. This means that the costs of maintaining and reproducing labor will be significantly reduced. And a computerized automated line in Siberia, in Vieux We will not differ significantly in the operating price. And taking into account the energy costs, not for heating, but for the equipment itself, we still need to look at where it will be more profitable, taking into account the availability of energy resources and the cost of their transportation. Thus, the products of our industry become competitive. 3) In fact, the climate is changing towards warming. For Russia, this is generally beneficial. This allows to significantly improve the conditions for food production and their export. In many countries, desertification and soil degradation have occurred and are taking place (Sev. Africa, China, etc.), lack of water resources. They will be forced to buy food, including from us. If our leaders cease to hope that "the West will forgive us," and can direct the current wind of change into the sails of our ship called "Russia", then it will successfully pass all the reefs and icebergs.

In Germany, favorable, not hot weather, it often rains, and this is a great advantage for agriculture. Accordingly, there was more food, and this made it possible to feed the cities and a larger number of artisans. This created competition among them and forced them to make better quality goods. They are more expensive, hence the income for development.

I see that you are most likely an ordinary Voshny troll, and I will not enter into polemics with you, but still I will ask a question taken right there from the surface - For example, in London, there is no central heating, but in Moscow there is - it is necessary to disassemble the central heating in Moscow - and immediately we will live, as in "civilized" Europe? laughing

So this is already happening. Many new homes are being built with autonomous boiler rooms and are valued higher. Because they consume only gas and cold water.
But in order to heal "as in" civilized "Europe" (as I understand it, since the word civilized in quotation marks, you do not consider them civilized? Apparently this is from Russia in Europe all technologies, and civilizational ideas have been coming in the last 1000 years, and not on the contrary?) will have to repeat all stages of development. But we have "our own way", so we will continue to walk around for the carrot of "a unique autocratic civilization".

1000 years mean? Yes easily. The Rusichs, without coal and iron ore for metallurgy, successfully mastered swamp iron and made weapons and repairable board armor from it, made chain mail by wire drawing, and therefore at times cheaper than in the West, where each piece of steel was flattened with a hammer for each ring. In the West, the crossbow was a technological breakthrough, many of its designs appeared - they did not know the complex bow, and the English longbow was huge. In Russia, compact and powerful composite bows were made, having lethal power with armor-piercing arrows no less than a crossbow, but having a greater range and the ability to shoot with a canopy over the fortress walls, and thanks to the crafted leather bowstring, shoot in the rain. And crossbows in Russia were called self-arrows, and they were not armed by archers, who had not trained for years (because the load on the composite bow was 2,5-4 times greater than the western ones), and militiamen of the fortresses. Spears, lances and spears made self-sharpening. Strong imported damask and damask blades were made of high-quality imported iron, which could be bent into a ring or stuck between the rounded parts of the armor. There weren’t so many quarries in Russia (in Kievan Rus, as you know, there were problems with the mountains - there were wooden fortresses and then brick kremlins. And you will not find such an extended structure as a large serif line anywhere in Europe.
We turn to the Renaissance: Ivan the Terrible created virtually the first professional army in Europe. In the Battle of Molodi, walk-cities — mobile forts — were used. Peter I was the first in Europe to introduce a postal service with the so-called pits - transshipment points for messengers, where you could replace a horse, eat, relax. Uses pre-fabricated redoubts and forts in the Russian-Swedish war. Instead of large flagships, it makes fast and powerful frigates the basis of its strategy. Produces the so-called unicorns, which was a symbiosis of a cannon shooting along a flat trajectory, and howitzers. Subsequently, unicorns appeared, shooting discs, which had greater accuracy and range. Russian Reytars - Cossacks are the only ones in Europe who use Dzhigitovka as a way of protection without armor. A blow with a saber held with one hand was comparable to a blow with a half-turn Japanese katana - it could cut a man in two.
The Russian gunsmith Fedorov created the world's first automatic rifle. You can somehow find the achievements of the USSR in military affairs.
Russia is the only one in the world in its history that has won as a result of direct wars and with its own forces the largest number of great powers of its time: the Khazar Kaganate, the Golden Horde, ON, the Commonwealth, the Swedish Empire, the Ottoman Empire, Napoleonic France, the Austro-Hungarian Empire and Hitler Germany .
When half of the population of Europe was wiped out by the plague epidemic, in Russia they washed all year round in barrels and baths, in contrast to "enlightened" Europe. While in Europe, slops and sewage were washed off on the heads of passers-by or into the nearest ditch, in Russia there was a sewage system in some villages as early as the XNUMXth century. In the XNUMXth century, Karl! And also a system of cesspools, removal and incineration of waste from them. Until now, we wash ourselves with running water, while Europeans and Americans collect water in the washbasin, i.e. water is used repeatedly, which is not conducive to hygiene. Until the twentieth century. in villages, starting from the middle zone, ice cellars were used year-round. And the Scandinavians who lived in the shadow of the Gulf Stream, who knew the Russian north, called our country "Gardarika", that is. country of cities, meaning even more than their own number of settlements.
While despotism ruled in Europe, in Novgorod - veche, a republic, I mean, and water supply. Russian truth Yaroslav the Wise was the first set of laws of post-barbaric Europe. While Great Britain waged opium wars with the Middle Empire, poisoning it with opium and plundering wealth, drove slaves into slavery all over the world and squeezed all the juices from the colonies, in Russia every annexed people were equalized with Russians and could go to the civil service, to the army , to church, to trade, to have land allotments, to do science and to open manufactories and factories, preserving their religion and language.
Russia has always actively actively traded with Europe, for example, linen fabrics, and before the Europeans discovered tea, almost all of Europe used domestic Ivan-tea. Elets lace, Ivanovsky chintz, palekh, Khokhloma, Gzhel were known far beyond the borders of the country. Russian classical literature, theater, painting, opera and ballet are famous all over the world.
In Russia, broader strata of the population possessed literacy than in the West: all the priests (feel the difference) and merchants were literate, and it was possible to get into the class of merchants without permission even from peasants. And there were many merchants (and later Russia was the first in the world to equalize the rights of men and women). And even in the days of Ivan the Terrible, birch bark "comics" were in use - even the peasants bought them - they often taught their children to read from them. I am generally silent about the parish schools.
Lomonosov formulated the universal law of conservation of matter and motion and created the molecular-kinetic theory of heat. Mendeleev - the periodic law of chemical elements. Pirogov made surgery a science, founded military field surgery, invented gypsum. In the XVIII century. Russia conducted the largest geographic expedition in scale and results in world history.

Well, I will not answer everything - too much, selectively only. You mix idea, end product and TECHNOLOGY in the mass of postulates, as in the example with ships, firearms, etc. We have original ideas and products come up, but the vast majority of production technologies are imported.
Examples of social orientation are also inappropriate. Novgorod Republic, this is wonderful - do not remind me where it is now? And really appeared right before the Roman, Greek and many other republics?
Education ... call the oldest Russian university, will be earlier than Western? Where did the Russian alphabet come from? And for whom did the Bolsheviks carry out educational program?
Determining the priority of technology in the Middle Ages is generally a disastrous business. As in the example with bows - stacked bows were used by both the steppe peoples and the Ottomans, and many others. And who started earlier ....
Let's operate the RESULTS for today - with very few exceptions, we use both the technology and civilizational ideas of Western countries.

In Russia, education developed longer in line with the church, secular universities appeared later. But this does not negate the fact that many commoners in Russia were able to read and write, and in Europe, not every priest was literate. Churches in Russia also performed the functions of modern registry offices and statistical agencies. Technologies and crafts in Russia are constantly evolving - evidence of this is the active trade outside the products of their own production and the successful opposition to the strongest powers of their time.

First, not because of great intelligence after the destruction of the USSR, we again began to borrow Western models. And something of the outstanding results of their use in their pure form is somehow not visible. Examples: the destruction of social elevators from the bottom up, the dominance of effective managers who do not know their business, the approach to people like batteries, an economy of unlimited growth that depletes the planet's resources with the transformation of the poorest countries into landfills, the planned obsolescence of commodities to maintain and increase production rates, marketing to snatch what you don't need, hand-made economic crises, raising a mindless mass of easily manageable consumers with minimal education, licensing holes in the walls and repairing cisterns, "positive" discrimination against a corrupt and derailed majority minority, a policy of economic strangulation and political isolation of competitors, the worst examples of propaganda even in comparison with the USSR, the unleashing of all world wars, the use of unjustified cruelty without real military necessity (Cromwell's campaign, the Boston tea party, the extermination of the indigenous population of the Americas, and much more): burning out the mountains dov (Dresden, for example), the destruction of the population with chemicals (for example, agent Orange), the use of atomic weapons in Japan to intimidate the USSR, fascism, concentration camps - in your opinion, worthy examples?
Yes, everything is on the heap - because the enumeration of areas where the West has spoiled the world will take a very large amount.

Secondly: okay? I will list the main world and western civilizational conquests from Russia, Russia, and the USSR:
                - Equality of different nationalities, religious tolerance - hoary antiquity in Russia.
                - Equality of women and men - merchants in Russia, the USSR at the beginning of the XX century.
                - Elements of economic planning, adjusted for the capitalistic system by modern "developed" economies, limiting production and consumption to the necessary volumes and objective needs - State Planning Institute.
                - Lean production, increased reliability, a system of rationalization of production.
                - Waste-free production, resource-saving - the integrated principle of the organization of production.
                - The standardization system (probably heard about HASP) - GOST system.
                - A team way of work, motivation by competitiveness - a team in a row.
                - Scientific expertise of political decisions - USSR Academy of Sciences.
                - Scientific approach to management, management - political economy, scientific management theory.
                - Guaranteed labor rights: on vacation, incl. maternity and childcare, guaranteed pension - Labor Code.
                - Universal free education - and in the USSR it was also elitist, while in the West VO is paid and elite.
                - Universal free medicine and social security.
                - A consensus decision-making method as opposed to negative discrimination by a majority of the minority in a democracy.
                - Public voting without the possibility of concealing secret motives.
                - Constant involvement in volunteering, purposeful upbringing of children and youth on universal human ideals - the movement of the Octobrists, pioneers, Komsomol.

Domestic technologies, starting from ancient times, and ending with the latest, just the sea - even the most basic ones to list here are not enough - you just don’t know about them. For example, in view of the fact that the patent system in the USSR was used only in relation to foreign applicants - hundreds of thousands of inventions and rational proposals either remained under the heading secret or became public, and this is evidenced, for example, by the presence of dozens of specialized magazines devoted to rationalization as open, and for official use, as well as 1st place in the world of the USSR in the number of scientific publications and inventions.

You understand already, it doesn’t matter to me the reasons why the most advanced inventions and ideas made in the USSR or earlier in the Republic of Ingushetia did not go anywhere, even though they went to the special forces, even though they left to the west with a carrier, even though they were used exclusively in the defense industry.
As a result, we are importers of technology, even where we produce the product ourselves.
IT, means of production, agricultural technologies, household appliances - do you find something in these technologies domestic?

However, the production line and the process itself are Austrian. Therefore, the product (let's not talk about materials now) is domestic, but the technology is not. And a similar situation will be in almost everything.

No, I do not agree. Externally - yes - to be similar and understandable to Europeans. Internally, no.
In general, the borrowing of the best Western technologies and practices has taken place. That country and nation that is incapable of this is doomed to hang out on the periphery of geopolitics.
As I already wrote, Peter’s victories are primarily connected with what the modern Europeans as a whole, and the Swedish empire in particular, did not have: courier service, advanced fortification and approaches in naval affairs.

The first dealt with critical technologies that were not supposed to leave the country, and for some reason you "forgot" about the second.
They worked and passed into products, but in a different way than in the West. The patent system inside the USSR was not needed: it was clear that the ban and royalties slowed down the introduction of innovations. The system of introducing rational proposals in production was modernly cleaned by the West in the USSR.

Well done, we bought the technology. This is cheaper than developing from zero - pumping a huge lot of time and money into it. This is called "reverse engineering," and China has risen on this. Wait 0-5 years for domestic equipment with improved performance. And according to the materials, we are independent.
And so it should be done wherever possible - the reproduction, adaptation and development of the world's best technologies and practices are the key to the successful development of any world power. And so do everyone.
But the USA with rare-earth metals is now stuck: the volumes and prices for them will now be completely different from those when they were purchased from China.

Micro was quite advanced device, albeit with "terrible" guts and in terms of production culture. But that's all (with regards to mass production).
I repeat once again, we do have original ideas, but they are often implemented not with us. The most striking example is a computer. There were their own architectures, but the leaders decided to copy IBM, and that's all. The WHOLE industry is totally exclusively US technology. And because "Elbrus" has its own architecture, nothing changes, the production technology of the product is not ours. We actually don't have them at all.

Phew ... went to a new circle))) You have listed the mass of products manufactured in the Russian Federation. That's right, we produce the product. But production technologies and means of production are not ours. Naturally, they cannot be our ALL, but there must be some significant proportion in accordance with the volume of scientific developments.
And the main complaints are that for some reason the link "idea" - "technological implementation of the idea" - "production of a product" - "export of a product and technology" - "getting benefit (as in money , and in the influence) from the spread ".

with very few exceptions, we use both the technology and civilizational ideas of Western countries.

But this is not fair, there are too many so-called Western countries, can we really surpass them all taken together? Take the space that we used there? The development of Germany in the 40s on rocket engines? This despite the fact that Tsialkovsky made all the theoretical calculations? Well, who is it that who took over from whom?
Take atomic energy. We were catching up with Americans who were familiar with German developments. Can the Americans be blamed for using German technology? But the Germans took the wrong path. And we say - Western countries, each other's tibers, that's all. America finalized and developed this direction begun by the Germans, we also finalized and developed. What is the difference? We made the first nuclear fusion bomb. Modern Russian nuclear technologies are, without exaggeration, the best in the world.
You can, of course, name some critical technologies in which we were catching up, just do not need to summarize Western countries, they do not all have technologies there like from a cornucopia, the technological locomotive (in recent history) was mainly America, from where the mass microelectronics and computer engineering (an example of breakthrough technologies). But this is the only country acquired from the Second World War, the main beneficiary.
As for civilizational ideas, many of them were adopted by us and turned out to be monstrously harmful. Darwinism humanized man and gave birth to racism and fascism.
Ideas of tolerance towards LGBT people in general can lead to the death of civilization.
The global civilization idea is Christianity, it changed the course of the whole world history, but this idea did not come out of the Western countries, it came to them almost 2000 years ago.

"Christianity is a global civilizational idea, it changed the course of world history, but this idea did not come out of Western countries" - it is also true, but we adopted this idea, and twice - first from Byzantium, and then "upgraded" to the actual Greek version of Nikon's reform.
Caught up with Western Europe under Peter, under Catherine, with the Bolsheviks, we are adjusting now.

The Russians, unlike the Amers and Europeans, did not genocide the peoples, and did not give rubles for the scalps of the Indians. Tatarstan, for example, quite lives for itself and feels great in a completely surrounded by Russian regions. Nobody committed genocide of Tatars. But about the genocide of the Irish by the "enlightened" English, you can write more than one book. This despite the fact that the Irish were just as white and the same Christians as the English. But this did not stop the British from trading the Irish in the New World for sugar and tobacco plantations.

We either return to the original topic - technological lagging and constant borrowing of technologies from leading countries ("breakthroughs" of Peter I, Stolypin, the Bolsheviks), or we finish the topic.
From a civilizational point of view, there is simply nothing to discuss - Byzantium, Western Europe under Peter, Germany represented by Marx, the "collective West" now — these are all sources of development.
Given that borrowing in itself is normal.
However, when they tell you about historical greatness and patriotism and warn you against "pernicious influence" despite the fact that you yourself are just at work - look after your pockets - they are sure to steal money.

"you just hate Russia and everything Russian" - what is it all of a sudden? I am even a slightly Russian nationalist. You traditionally confuse (or deliberately mix concepts) the attitude towards the country and towards the state. However, this in no way replaces the need for a real view of the situation and history. And mythologizing history and building views on the basis of what is desired, and not the real, will not end well. Negative or directly hostile attitude on the part of the former republics and countries of the socialist camp is a clear example of what the belief in their own delusions, in particular, in the "friendship of peoples" in this case, leads to.

Consider the analogy: a country and a state are sick. I see this and I think that this fact should be recognized and problems should be solved. However, as an alcoholic, for example, never admits that he himself is the cause of his problems, so the state is in your person for example. Anyone is to blame for the problems: Americans, traitors, p ... sy and liberals, but not him. And the fact that the neighbors are running away with ... they put ungrateful and iron doors, and even they call outsiders to help - that’s how traitors are all without exception.

Factors are much more than heating: somewhere it’s cheaper to produce, but somewhere, but much closer, cheaper to bring.

Territories where there is no winter are economically competitive, that is, the average temperature of the coldest month is above zero and in winter there is no stable snow cover. This is caused by the fact that where the temperature is all year round, there is no need for insulation of communications, since there is no risk of freezing and tearing, there is no need to thoroughly insulate buildings and houses, there are no large heating costs, there are no costs for cleaning roads, yards, airports from the snow, even trite do not need spending on the purchase of winter tires. In animal husbandry, this is also a big plus, as livestock can graze on pastures all year round and there is no need to harvest livestock feed for the winter and build warm cowsheds. In Russia, only the Krasnodar Territory and Crimea fall under this requirement. All other regions of Russia in the world economy are uncompetitive, and territories with an average annual temperature below -2, that is, areas with permafrost, are economically inexpedient to populate and build cities such as Vorkuta, Norilsk, Magadan, etc., in such territories it is necessary to build only shift camps for mining.

True, for this reason socialism is organically combined with the Russian soul.
      .

Here you need to understand that 10% have a "sweet life", while the rest cannot call it sweet.
And the dawn of small and medium-sized businesses will not be in Russia. All will be owned by agricultural holdings, networks .. and in general any large business will eventually move into the "right" hands ..

Here, for example, from the latter:

"In Russia, the import substitution program continues, and not the government, but entrepreneurs."

It would seem yes? And here it is:

"Agrocomplex Vostochny decided to expand its greenhouse facilities and plans to build a large greenhouse complex on an area of 23 hectares. The complex will be located in the Stavropol Territory, in the Levokumsky District."

The government helps agricultural holdings, but not to small farmers. And where should a peasant go? Did he pull this:

"The complex will be equipped with the latest technology: lighting control systems, climate control systems, irrigation control systems. All this will allow us to grow high quality cucumbers and tomatoes in demand on the Russian market all year round. The planned production volume is expected to be 16500 tons of vegetables per year."

Farmers are also not peasants in the classical sense. There are small and large farmers, they need to find their niches. There are areas where it is initially useless to compete with large agricultural holdings. As a consumer, I don’t care who produced the product: an agricultural holding, a small or large farmer, a private household or a collective farm (oddly enough, they still exist in small numbers in some places). And it’s more convenient for me to buy products in a large store of a large trading network, rather than in a small private store.

            I don’t really agree.
There are big capitalists. They can be such, no one objects. In addition, they have natural data and even, say, the scale of the entrepreneurial personality acquired in the fight against competitors. And most importantly, they were in the right place at the right time and got favorable starting opportunities for the implementation of the above. And there is a peasant who does not see himself otherwise than in a tractor on a field that needs to be plowed and sowed. Such is the natural destiny given to him by many generations of ancestors. But its scale is small, so you can break it through the knee? This is with our vast expanses! Whereas he is ready to master inconveniences and cultivate them from year to year, introducing manure fertilizers, increasing the layer of humus ... It turns out bad, inhumane! And this is in the conditions of a slowly developing industry, which is not yet able to absorb that peasant as a highly skilled labor force, while unskilled work can be performed by excavators and other equipment. And also Tajiks.
Under Stalin, by the way, there were 3,5 million individual individuals, and no one spread rot on them. On the contrary, the state established such rules for their activities that they flourished, making a significant contribution to the development of the country. And it doesn’t get out of my head how a Kuban farmer was forced to destroy 20 tons of excellent radish this spring, and another farmer dumped several trucks of greenhouse cucumbers off the road - take it, good people! Take it for nothing! And this is only what has become public. In this regard, the state does not cope with its mission.

In fact, 60% of the repressed in the USSR did not fall on the intelligentsia, not on the workers, not on the military and KGB, but on the peasants. There were many of them and they were superfluous. Vyacheslav Olegovich, I’m talking about one thing, you are talking about something else, you’re stubborn! ))) My grandmother and great-grandmother were single-handed, and my grandfather - yes, at that time I was serving a logging trip, then at a settlement in Kazakhstan. But he was a red officer, not from the peasants. Grandmother was from peasants. And while my grandfather was leaving, I returned to the roots. So she told how everything was arranged. Extremely reasonable. I even remember how I complained that the car came to other individual farmers from the zagotkontora and the crop was taken at a good price, but not to it, because the office was separated from the collective farm by Kuban, the ferry crossing, a significant part of the harvest had to be delivered to the collective farm. Nevertheless, the house was - a full bowl, namely, a house covered with iron. Due to the fact that the grandmother dragged part of the hump grown in the city and sold there on the collective farm market. While the collective farmers with their small personal plots of land have entirely huts covered with straw. Two women lived best in the village. Last year at VO there was a discussion as always - about Stalin, I had to study materials, horizons, so to speak, expand))
Harvesters were in every area. The procurers knew their sole personalities. They arrived, took the grown at a price higher than the collective farm gave. The sole farmer still handed over something to the collective farm so that they would plow the land with a tractor and give him something that he himself did not grow. Part of the harvest was taken to the collective farm market, where he traded himself, there were no resellers, there was no place strictly for producers. The zagotkontora had large warehouses, and, if necessary, elevators. Since it was a legitimate organization, the state, shops, and processing plants legally collaborated with it.
Labor on earth is hard. I believe that over time, the institute of individual students would quietly leave itself. But just when the country would have naturally, rather than violently, eliminated its need. What was Khrushchev afraid of? I believe that the discontent of the still poor post-war collective farmers amid the rapidly growing prosperity of individual farmers. Stalin was able to rule in such conditions, Khrushchev did not succeed and in one fell swoop solved the problem by prohibiting individual farmers, and the collective farmers established a fixed payment not for the volume of the crop, but for the time spent growing it - the so-called workday, salary. Putting a peasant on a paycheck is a joke!
I'm talking about something else. Where are the modern procurement offices, they are vegetable stores and elevators - a kind of spacer between the store and the farmer? Why should a farmer destroy the tons of radishes he has grown, cucumbers with trucks and slaughter "extra" livestock? Maybe in order not to compete with some local "Miratorg", which is by definition a talented businessman, and a farmer, by the same definition, even in principle, has no right to be a talented producer of agricultural products - why? Whose side is the state on the side of the predatory monopolist Miratorg, which officially raised meat prices by 10% last year under the secret patronage of Mr. DA Medvedev, or the people of the country as a whole?

      1. Select passports and introduce serfdom (not to be confused with slavery), partially already in effect - the ban on travel in connection with the pasta. We will save our villages.
      2. The ban on registration in the cities of new citizens, Moscow and St. Petersburg are not rubber. All who do not have work in the city - send back the village to pick up.
      3. Gasoline strictly according to coupons, so that they work and do not wander where not too late. Home-work-home before special instructions or the building of communism. (partially realized by excise taxes on gasoline).
      4. Military service for 25 years to ordinary and retired officers with the provision of estates with serfs (partially realized, but without serfs).
      5. Shift workers and families to move closer to the fields and assign to firms, with the right not to pay for work. (Partially implemented, except for relocation of families). The issue of the population of the strategically important Arctic for oil and gas companies is being addressed.

Climatic determinism is evil, just like geography.

The climate of our immense is not as critical for the economy as the distance. Europe is compact, roads are laid everywhere and energy is supplied. In Russia, everything is completely different. 11 time zones for logistics and fast transportation of goods is not the best option.
And partly agree with the author, we have our own path. It’s another matter that under the democrats, not with the liberals, and not even with the anarchists, we will not go this way. Democrats and liberals drag us by the ears to Europe, although all the way, for the most part, Russia fed on the Urals and Siberia. It’s a strange thing, in Siberia and the Urals, most of our wealth and space, and all the money is in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
To tell you the truth, even the location of the capital of our country is not logical. It is more logical that the capital is located in the center of the country in order to coordinate decisions and actions with equal strength and speed in all directions. Moreover, we have BOTH capitals assigned to the western borders, and almost to the borders.
Yes, our climate is harsh. And therefore (and not only therefore) the mentality of our people is unique. And our story is also unprecedented. We fought a lot, endured the need, and much happened that other nations did not even understand with our minds. This all tempered us as a people, making our mentality unlike any other. And that is why, for us, the concept of homeland, family, home, is much more than anywhere else. And thanks to this, we won the Second World War.
In the USA, they talk a lot about freedoms, which defines the whole essence of the Western world ... but the real concept of Freedom is only in Russia. And it doesn’t matter who is in power, liberals, democrats ...

Speaking about "cold" Russia, you need to understand that 80% of the total population lives in the European part, where there is no harsh climate.

      Everything is relative.
When Europeans colonized the continent, they occupied the most favorable climate zone.

Seattle is the northernmost major city 47 parallel. This is our Rostov-on-Don.
New York 40 - Yerevan. South of Tashkent.

I will add: the author in every possible way avoids specifics and figures. And they are as follows: Russia takes only the fourth place in the world in terms of CO2 emissions, yielding to China, the USA and India. If the climate had a significant effect on energy consumption, the situation would be different.
And a warm climate is not such a blessing. The United States spends much more energy on air conditioning than Russia does on heating; China has passed them around the shaft and India is catching up. We spend more on hot water (not heating!) Than on heating. Finally, fairy tales about incredibly warm and therefore terribly expensive buildings in Russia are only fairy tales. Cities of Europe consist of buildings that are hundreds of years old. We have few of them, because the quality of construction has always been not up to par.
Finally, about the reasoning that we’ll conserve under the sovereign, we will grow spirituality and our own special science — then we will live. All this lies. Isolationism will not bring to good, especially on the basis of religion. What the hell is science in isolation? Has the author ever studied science at all and does he have an idea about it?
Summary: from an article a mile away carries Black Hundreds and monarchism, mysticism is worse than that of Prokhanov.

autarky is the correct understanding of our way of life, although the word is not Russian, it is better to speak originality, so it’s completely in Russian.
The Russians built Russia, and even in such very backward regions as Central Asia and the Caucasus, the Russians gave the same cities and civilization to these peoples. And even imagine the great Mongols who conquered half the world, and then degraded to the primitive communal system, all the cities the Russians built.
But Russia / Russia is captured by strangers who imposed a disgusting mercantile lifestyle, lack of culture and complete lack of spirituality, and these are NOT RUSSIANs — they are really aliens. They are not white, but semi-white-gray, but impersonating whites. They lead Russia into the abyss in Russia by compared with the USSR is already lost.

The result is this: Russia cannot live in the so-called. the global market on an equal footing. A country cannot afford free trade. Only autarchy-autocracy.

Economists of all stripes have agreed that autarchy is possible in a country with a population of at least 300-400 million inhabitants. Russia today is not gaining even half. Hence the conclusion: no matter how hard it is to live with neighbors, we will have to live with them. There are no others, and no changes are expected in the foreseeable future. And we will have to manage in cooperation with other countries in the system of the international division of labor. And with a free market inside the country - a big question. One cannot do without the active participation of the state in the economy. Especially if we want to avoid socio-economic shocks in the process of "self-tuning" of the economy with market mechanisms. No matter how disgusting we may be, in the near future we will still be turned to the West. For today it is technologically more advanced than the East. Therefore, if we want to be among the advanced economies, then one way or another we will have to cooperate and compete with the West. Although one should not completely turn away from the East.

Hagen colleague, if we want to be among the leading economies, in addition to the condition that I outlined above, we first need to break the old bureaucratic apparatus and create a completely new one based on principles that are suitable for the characteristics of our life. Otherwise, nothing will work. Here is an example.
Three years ago, a woman turned to the president: we have been living in trailers for 40 years, they are not given normal housing. Naturally, the President was indignant and assured: "We will do it!" And what do you think? For three years, the bureaucratic apparatus has been straining, starting from the mayor of the settlement and ending with the profile minister, it seems that even Medvedev strained his forehead muscles, but they cannot solve the problem! It turned out that so that the children could go to school, and the settlers could work and be treated, it was necessary to register everyone, and the trailers were announced as capital structures. And since the settlers looked after them, they were not emergency. And according to the law, only capital emergency can be resettled. They cannot solve this! In the USSR, they easily solved the problem, simply "forgetting" to insert the word "temporarily" into the solution - the era of the big hapk began, and it was necessary to foresee how, on occasion, the residents could be grabbed, or successfully evaded responsibility. And now the bureaucrat even of the highest echelon does not know how to get out of the completely dehumanized charter of his own bureaucratic life created by him in the form of a set of shameful, thoroughly corrupt laws. Until we break this system, until we clean out the ranks, until we reach every person by law, or until we reach a precedent (it's time to introduce case law!) - nothing will work. Since 2005 I have been hearing this: "You never know what Putin said!" It is not Putin who should say what to do; he should clearly and clearly state the law. And he must be such that everyone agrees with him.

I think this is exactly the problem. 1. Break and destroy the old one. Who will destroy it? How large will be the circle of people affected by this? What force will the opposition be? 2. Create a brand new one. It is clear that the new "apparatus" ready from the sky will not fall. How long will it take to create. How long? How will the state exist in the absence of a new apparatus with the old destroyed? Would outside players want to take advantage of this opportunity? And this is only part of the questions .... And no movement in this direction is observed today. The KPRF is losing its electorate more and more, and there is information that in some issues the KPRF is uniting with the non-systemic opposition, which also negatively affects its support. I think that our main problem is the lack of a coherent ideology of the state. And therefore the bureaucratic apparatus cannot understand the priorities of the country's development.

The example is not very correct. But having simplified the situation and it can be solved by creating municipal housing funds and transferring them for commercial hire. As a result, the one who can - will buy his home, who can not buy his own, rents a municipal. (As an option).

Unfortunately, in our blood the primacy of communal-clan relations is still in our blood (in common people - blat and telephone law). This, they say, is getting obsolete, but so far it is present quite noticeably.

          Well, look.
On July 5, it was reported that the president’s cousin, Roman Putin, was elected chairman and leader of the People Against Corruption party, which means in the abbreviation NPK. He is a respectable person: FSB, entrepreneurship, in the intervals of positions that you cannot designate otherwise than "decide". Experience - a carriage and a cart. A loud name and the corresponding promotion will allow to get a sufficient percentage of votes in the future Duma elections to not only get into the Duma, but also compete with the United Russia in the number of parliamentary seats, which means in future elections - on the laws and amendments to them. In contrast to the low-power Communist Party and Socialist-Revolutionaries. And then we can expect that Roman Putin will take part in the future presidential elections as the leader of the parliamentary party, competing with the candidate from United Russia.
That is, a collision of two parties in the struggle for the presidency. The competitive situation will lead to an acceleration of the purification of laws from the corruption component. And whoever was elected president in the future, he will be forced to fulfill at least part of the obligations given in the election promises. This will give an impetus to the development of the country. Understanding this, I have always been for the presence in Russia of not a bunch of small parties and one huge, but two strong ones, fighting among themselves for a higher power. Yes, at the direction of the president, the Duma EP makes any decision he needs, however limited by the set of his powers. But her own decisions in terms of the laws adopted are not just worthless, but they are lobbying uncontrollably, which means they are corrupt. Still pass. Because parliamentarians, members of EP, are the majority. As soon as this imbalance is excluded, something will budge. So, step by step, without shocks and by law. I really hope so.

At the same time, I think you understand very well that in our country the probability of this is extremely small. Wheat, corn, sugar beets are intensively grown. The successes of Italy in agriculture are closely related to its strong position in the food industry, the reputation of a manufacturer and exporter of high-quality food (pasta, cheese, meat products, wine, chocolate, juices, mineral water, sauces). I respect this author. But to write about the tragedy of 1917, and to list the merits of the USSR is too much. Capitalism cannot belong to nationality. Any social system will collapse if it does not adhere to certain rules. This is what happened with the USSR. And the rules of capitalism are clearly indicated in Marx's Capital. Geography, as it was, and will remain. History, as it was, and will remain. In the Middle Ages, there were also advantages and what is put forward today by the liberals. After the Civil War, the country But it became profitable for someone to expose this nerve and sprinkle it with salt. The whole ideology should be built on the peaceful labor of citizens. And then the light of his country will dawn in front of a person. He will be the builder of his country.

In Helsinki it cannot be colder than St. Petersburg, as Helsinki is to the west. The fact that St. Petersburg is supposedly warmer is due to the warming "effect of the city", since St. Petersburg is 10 times larger than Helsinki, the influence of the city on the weather stations is much greater. And by the way, I believe that the alleged "warming" of the climate, which we are allegedly observing now, is caused by this effect, since the meteorological stations that were outside the city limits in the 19th century, now, due to the growth of cities, found themselves within the city limits or on the outskirts of cities, due to which at the meteorological stations began to record higher temperatures.

Hence the main organizational conclusion: the immediate revival of the monarchy !!! Putin-sovereign emperors !!!
However, I, Gershny, have some misunderstandings: the author points out that the path of integration with the West brings horror and ruin for Russia "The classic example of such a catastrophe is 1917-1920."
Wonderful. It's hard to argue. However, the question: Is Peter the Great’s European reforms the same example of a national disaster ???
Another question: And how, in fact, did the Soviet secretary general differ from the monarch? led for life, any courage was subject to execution? ..
It's funny, but the attempts in 1991 to make the presidency replaceable ended ... with another termination of the presidency ...
I believe that in Russia all democratic reforms carried out even in 1917-1920, even in 1991, degenerated into something completely different ...
Thus, the Soviet Union, instead of a democratic state, has already since 1917, since the Revolution, turned into an ultra-clerical state: K. Marx's work "Capital" is the same Bible, the Idea of Communism is religion, the Communist Party of the Soviet Union is clergy.
Hence, all politics, decision-making, development and the decline of the USSR is nothing but the history of the development and decline of a clerical state.

Khrushchev’s dismissal is more likely an exception hi The story of corn cultivation in itself speaks volumes ... and not only it ...

As for the reforms of Peter, it was Peter the Great who created the state (rebuilt Holy Russia according to European patterns) that existed until 1917. And Europe was largely forced to reckon with this state. I think I'm not too much mistaken if I say that under Catherine the Great, the Russian Empire was an absolute political leader. Among the political leaders, Russia was under Alexander the Blessed and other emperors ...

For example, the agricultural sector of Bulgaria or Ukraine was needed only within the framework of the socialist camp. As soon as the social bloc was destroyed, the degradation of the national economy began

A beautiful morning - now Mr. Samsonov washed my eyes that in Bulgaria, agriculture collapsed and disappeared without socialism.

First place in the world and 14,5% of the world market for sowing, high-quality wheat (2019)
Lavender is the first place in the world in production. And people think that France is a country of lavender .... :)
Saffron - Bulgarian is already more expensive than Iranian, and this is about 20 per kg.
Meat production, processing, export etc. etc. - everything took off.
Wine and high-tech cultures, or something else ...

In the EU, agricultural subsidies are the highest in the world. France, Spain, Holland, Bulgaria, Greece and so on receive huge simply money. We have agricultural machinery all new and most advanced.

In general, the author’s knowledge in the field of economics leaves much to be desired, from about the 9th grade level, an economic gymnasium.

And so as not to be unfounded, I can send an official report of the Bulgarian Ministry of Agriculture for 2019. Everything is public and public. Link on request.

The author did not say a word about the main and most important obstacles preventing the Russians from starting to live well immediately: Jews, liberals, LGBT people. So what were you fighting for ???
In the hands of world Zionism control the weather, read, cold weather. Because of the damned liberals and LGBT people, a third of the vast country to this day does not have normal water supply / sewage and is forced to drag water (one that has not yet been drunk) into the house from the column, poop into a hole in the floor, heat it with wood, which is true, collect dead wood it has already become possible.

    Now, seriously.
The article is a clear, concise, well-reasoned explanation of why Russians should and simply must live worse than others. To me, such a statement of the question is fundamentally mistaken. They should not, are not obliged and deserve much better.
Precedents, of course, are known - 40 years of wandering in the desert is a thing, of course, important for society. So, 30 has already passed, if anyone has not noticed. It seems that they have already harnessed, it’s time to move
One should not bring out the fully theoretical work of a century and a half ago and try to squeeze modern Russia into the Procrustean bed of her far-fetched ideas. (option - owl and globe).

Do you think that this is pure propaganda? Something tells us that the author tried to formulate or propose, so it will be more correct, the idea of how to live better than the West, but much is debatable, somewhere utopian and lacks an understanding of how the economy works.

What does propaganda have to do with it? This is the opinion of the author. There is a place to be. He should be listened to, thoughtful, expressed his opinion. If interested, it is possible to seek the opinions of specialists on such issues.
Another thing is that neither my, nor your opinion on this issue interests anyone.

The hard way that Russia is moving today and will continue to move in the foreseeable future is determined by the government. No revolutions, praise to the Almighty, are outlined. Some evolutions are inevitable, they are slow, but in any case, better than revolutions.
How the economy works is known for certain. Capitalist models have existed since the time of Karl Genrikhovich. They work great to this day. "Excellent", not in the sense that they are good, but in the sense that all theoretical calculations are completely correct. This happened due to the fact that first capitalism came, and then, a theory was brought under it. The classics saw everything with their own eyes and understood everything correctly. As for socialism, then they had to improvise. During their lifetime, socialism never came, and the successors and followers did not cope with their work, because the creation of developed socialism in one particular country is not possible by definition:
19-th question: Can ... a revolution happen in any one country?
Answer: Not. Big industry, by the fact that it created the world market, connected all the nations of the globe, especially civilized nations, so that each of them depends on what is happening to the other. Then large-scale industry so balanced social development in all civilized countries that everywhere the bourgeoisie and the proletariat became the two decisive classes of society and the struggle between them — the main struggle of our time. Therefore, the communist revolution will not only be national, but will occur simultaneously in all civilized countries, that is, at least in England, America, France and Germany. In each of these countries it will develop faster or slower, depending on which of these countries has more developed industry, more wealth has accumulated, and there is a larger number of productive forces. Therefore, it will be carried out more slowly and hardest in Germany, faster and easier in England. It will also have a significant impact on the rest of the world and will completely change and extremely accelerate their previous course of development. It is a world revolution and will therefore have a world stage.
(Engels F. "Principles of Communism", 1847)

The most important specialist in the Theory of Permanent Revolution in the era of imperialism in 1940, Ramon Mercader, on behalf and on behalf of, as you know, banged. Together with Lev Davidovich, the idea had to be buried.
No, there have been attempts, of course. However, they did not lead to anything good.
As a result, socialism is more likely dead than alive, communism was never born, and you and I have rotting (by definition) capitalism, with the existence of which we will continue to put up with it, for the lack of an alternative. hi

Do you really want this? Yes, I believe that a return to socialism is necessary. Just not to the version that was in the USSR. In the end, the system went completely wrong where it should have been. Now it seems to me there is a chance to avoid this. Although, of course, you can never say for sure, but I have some reasons to think so. I consider the movement in this direction and only it will make it possible to avoid the next wars and chaos to which we are moving under the inexorable influence of the laws of the capitalist system. It will enable humanity to move to a new stage of its development. I absolutely do not want to agitate you for anything. It is pointless and useless. Yes, you say, there is no socialism today.
Against that part of my thesis that communism was never built, you also did not object.

To all this outrage, in your opinion, socialism should be contrasted again. To him (some other option than that known to us from the USSR) should be returned. It is this path that you consider an alternative to today's chaos.

And the roads we can do as expected and the climate is not a hindrance for this. In the Tver region there is a section of a road of 9 km, which has not been repaired already 15, because it was done honestly and as it should, and next to it roads are constantly being repaired. attempts to integrate Russia into the western (global) capitalist system, make it competitive within the global market

cannot be crowned with success, since the "Western capitalist system" does not need competitors. And she only needs sales markets. A fresh example of an unsuccessful attempt to "build in" is the recent breakup of Ukraine, to which the "Western capitalist system" has shown its place.

    3. In 1917, the catastrophe before the revolution already struck, and the revolution not only saved the country, but also turned it into one of the two superpowers in the world. Here 1989-1991 change was already a real disaster.

And, all this "Why is Russia not America?" and "Autocratic civilization" has been exaggerated for 30 years already. After the betrayal of the elite, and simply transfers the arrows from "Chubais" to geography.

But in real life, history shows that civilization and production shifted from south to north. Egypt, Rome, Arabs, Spain, France, England, Germany, Norway, Inland, Alaska, the USSR with their Ural plants and Norilsk.

Even CX - northern Argentina beats the southern banana republics.

Something in the Republic of Ingushetia, and in the USSR, and in the Russian Federation in the south there were no special industries .... everything is in the middle lane ... and the autocracy just finally brought the country to a halt ...

And the examples of Norway, Finland, the USSR, Canada show - there is normal common sense - then there will be a healthy economy ... There are Chubais and "voting" - no economy will survive.

The author again sings old and no longer original songs, glorifying "a prison for the good of all."
To begin with - the longer and further we will stand up for this mythical "good" for these abstract "everyone" - the more poverty-stricken and squeezed we will have a concrete average person.
Enough of these tales about the exceptional path, Slavophilism, etc. Look at the past 30 years - you can sing Lazarus as much as you like about "contempt for the flesh and the choice of spirituality" - but you need to understand that the USSR collapsed without a civil war (that is, the majority was not interested in what you write about), then the communists are elections from the elections they lost% and the electorate, and finally - as we observe, the inhabitants of the former USSR are much more willing to emigrate from all this mess for the "spirit" not at all to the remaining "sort of" socialist states, but to the countries of developed capitalism.
The habit of thinking "for life" and angrily stigmatizing the bourgeoisie is one thing; in practice, we observe a completely different picture. People LIKE to live well, people like freedom, people do not like diktat - in our case, they really choose methods of passive resistance to its manifestations (which can create a feeling of tolerance for diktat or the desire to find a "strong hand" among other observers) - according to the majority (evolutionarily) to the drum for all these inclinations, but they will work effectively and steal less only when inside the system they will feel what is written above.
IMHO - we should distance ourselves from all this mossy philosophy, as well as generally from some dogmatic constructions of the last 100-150 years, and work with that section of the picture that we observe. With the real interests of real Russian people - mostly based on the 30+ generation.

As for the theorists - from what you wrote, I am personally impressed by autarchy (because our country has enough resources of all kinds to be really independent), but to drive it with a sophisticated fraudulent cannon system, and then savor "Soviet is great!" - this is the path that we have already passed .. We must endure and let this philosophy mature to a level with a human face - before trying again ..

The longer, the longer the thoughts will wander about returning to the former canonicity, with its inherent dogma. It is new because it does not need to lie about the successes and failures of the old or argue about it hoarsely - neither old flags nor old speeches are needed.
An intellectual club just gathers - they sit down and think about how to organize everything so that there is growth, everyone was happy and stood for centuries. And if you get a concept, they will think about how to come to the beginning of this process. The idea starts with this ..
Ten years would be enough for the concept - the embodiment would take until 2050. Only cats breed quickly.

Actually, there was such a club. Now I don’t remember, either in the 90s, or in the 10th. Auzan played there. Aganbegyan, again. The concept was put forward there - growth points, growth areas. So they accepted - TORs, territories of advanced development. Is that familiar? There are tori for a long time, there is no development.

In this matter, a lot will not even depend on the level of the individuals participating in the discussion. For example, Korolev was a super-specialist and Glushko was a super-specialist - but they could not give out a common result or concept - because the steepness of one found the steepness of the other, in their interaction there was no adequate arbiter who formulated the task for the activities of both and dividing the functions so that they did not duplicated each other and taking into account the objectively strong sides of each.
I mean, the discussion can be just endless chatter - without the person organizing the search and forming a certain unified concept - from the sum of the views and the sum of the efforts of the participants in the discussion.
So the question of the success or failure of such an enterprise directly depends on the compatibility of views on things of the participants, the level of the organizer, his interest in solving the problem "not for show" and, finally, the mechanisms for expanding the discussion on increasingly complex issues - because in the search process you always find intermediate results, and they need to be processed and changed (supplemented) the concept for them.

I may be wrong about TORs - but I got the feeling that this was a very weak attempt to create a kind of gadyushnichki, in which non-raw materials producers more actively interacted with each other without undue pressure from monopolies and the state. And if I understand correctly, this was at best an attempt not to "interfere" with non-raw materials producers or to motivate raw materials workers to more actively produce some offshoots that are not related to their activities - rather than a real modernization for exhaust in the short-medium term.

The discussion inspired by the state would generally cause me some skepticism - usually we use it to simulate ebullient activity ..

Great comment from colleague Knell Wardenheart, just great! I remember that something like a TOP was in Rostov-on-Don - quite far from the city, supposedly a play area. Your own Las Vegas, so to speak. They say that in the cities they set up gadyushniks, the poor are squandering money, the press is worried. Even in my village there was a similar establishment. As part of the criminal case, all over the Moscow region, such points were closed (the building in which we had this very gambling, people still call it "Casino", and there have long been a bunch of grocery stores there). And what is the result? Even if we leave aside the question of the relevance of the project for our economy. Entrepreneurs built something, but the people did not go. The rich did not want to go to the wild steppe, they go to play in the Baltics or wherever else, it is expensive for the poor to get there. The idea was covered with a copper basin. But in all cities, many underground casinos bred. This is the level of decisions made.

Almost totally agree! Only not autarchy-autocracy, but autarky-socialism.

Chewing chewed. We are not the West or the East, we are the North, we must proceed from this. Revealing the theme of inevitable backwardness and economic poverty - Rome, the "city on the hill" was destroyed by unwashed barbarians, like the Mongols China, Russia and other Bukhara. Napoleonic Europe (as well as Hitler's later) - "backward and barbaric" Russia. Does not fit with the reality of the author's article. The development of technology is not hindered by distance, cold and other alarmists, benefits are even drawn from a vacuum. Considering the duration of the existence of the state, the same topic is revealed on other resources much more interestingly.

Semenov, respected Author You offended in vain. He proposed a topic, a discussion ensued. You have a point of view based on facts found on other resources (really, but where else can we get the facts?), So state it! I would love to read and even note something.
For example, in one of the next topics, the tank64rus colleague raised the issue of the national and comprador bourgeoisie. The fact that Putin’s task after the adoption of the amendments is to replace our compradors with nationally oriented ones, which will solve many problems that arise due to all the factors presented in the article.
The opinion of colleague SVD68 is based on the theory of tyranny as presented by Aristotle. Even tyranny is useful and the state develops if one clan of aristocratic thieves replaces another and the change process is continuous.
But I am of the opinion that since the time of Peter the Great, a bad tradition of compradorism was established in our ruling elite, which did not disappear even in Soviet times. On the contrary, it went underground, and there degenerated into a betrayal, which ultimately destroyed a powerful country, turning it into what we have. If Putin succeeds in breaking this tradition, then the country will revive despite our geographical difficulties.
See what the scatter of opinions is?
So, do not be shy, state yours. I am sure that it is interesting.

With pleasure. In the article “Russia in a Changing Geopolitical Space”, published on May 28, 2020 on the REGNUM news agency website, its author Yelena Panina, Doctor of Economics, Professor, member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Director of the Institute of Russian Strategies, raised the question of a geopolitical alternative to the dominant concept dichotomies of the West and the East, where Russia cannot find its optimal place. It is alleged that Russia is the civilization of the North, but the West and the East refuse to admit the obvious, receiving new threats (communism, space, the Arctic, etc.) as a result of wars (including bloodless ones).
The great Garrincha said: "As you know, there are 200 million fans in Brazil, and each has its own squad." Putin has his own and plays accordingly. The goal is unclear, but a powerful foundation is being laid for the future.
And even despite the increase in prices, the increase in pensions. age, theft, the welfare of the people is growing.

The author carries nonsense. The Russian Empire was a leader in agriculture, especially in grain crops and the climate did not interfere at all, and now the Russian Federation is breaking into the leaders in the collection of grain, which can not be said about the USSR. So it’s not a matter of climate, but of a business model. Soviet collective farms, as in the rest, and the entire Soviet model of the economy were extremely inefficient, that’s the whole secret.

Russia is a unique autocratic civilization, not the West and not the East. Therefore, attempts to integrate Russia into the Western (global) capitalist system and make it competitive within the global market turn into colonial dependence and collapse for the country's economy. And for the people - poverty and extinction.

Only this does not apply, but they do everything exactly the opposite. Proven schemes that work in Europe, Asia and America do not apply, justifying their incompetence "in a special way."

Almost never met on the Internet anything equal in accuracy and objectivity to reflect the realities of Russia's existence in the modern era. Around Parshev’s book (it was preceded by the article “The Bitter Theorem”), the main ideas of which were briefly presented by the author, from the moment of its publication to the present day there has developed a “conspiracy of silence”. She is very uncomfortable with both the opposition and the authorities. The main idea of the “liberal” opposition: the only source of evil preventing Russia from becoming the West is the “Putin regime”. To overthrow him - and in a short time we will have "as there". The idea that Russia’s lagging behind developed countries has objective (in particular - geographical) reasons, being brought to a wide range of citizens, is an obvious obstacle to their political aspirations. For the authorities, the recognition of this sad but objective circumstance will lead to a serious weakening of influence, loss of trust ratings and, ultimately, will mean political suicide. Voters of any country will always prefer the “sweet lie” to the “bitter truth” and go after the populists who promise them a “sweet life” despite the economically uncomfortable geography. However, recent attempts by the authorities to maximally stimulate the development of IT technologies in the country (primarily production of software products) are indirect evidence that she understands and tries to take this “bitter theorem” into account in her actions. Indeed, this direction of development is now almost the only one where Russia has a chance to compete on equal terms (or almost equal) in the world market with the most developed countries of the world and weaken its dependence on hydrocarbon exports.

The author of the article was a century late. Climate costs in the modern world are becoming less and less important; the share of energy costs for heating and insulation of buildings is now insignificant in manufactured products. The main drag on the Russian economy is disproportionate government spending, the total number of civil servants in our country is around 15 million people, various types of police forces alone are about 3 million... with a working population of 60 million. Some of which, for various reasons, do not work, It turns out that every two workers feed a civil servant.
The next problem is the huge share of state-owned enterprises, the efficiency of which around the world is little better than none.
Then there is the problem of a huge bureaucratic burden; certification procedures are very confusing and require a huge number of redundant procedures. And activities in many areas are simply prohibited (for example, experimental aviation, motorcycle and auto industries).
High taxes, including on wages, VAT, etc. significantly complicate the launch of small-scale industries, which in economically developed countries make the majority of various types of components.
Against this background, the impact of climate has virtually no impact on the competitiveness of Russian producers.

Of course, the cold climate is a burden. But the presence of burdens does not mean the impossibility of competitiveness. After all, Russia has ready-made advantages and the ability to create new ones, which means the disadvantage can be compensated.

You are trying so hard to be smart, to come up with your points. You try, but you fail.

And you can be a separate civilization without blaming the climate.

Have you ever wondered how long different empires with supposedly large territories existed in history? And how long has Russia existed, despite the fact that its territory is much larger than any former empires! And it doesn’t rot and steadily fall apart, but at the very least it trudges forward in development. Or at least sometimes it just stands still. It is much easier to govern a small country. Especially if it is also mononational. In general, the author is right. Separately, Russia within the northwest, center, south and up to the Urals, but without the North (Arkhangelsk, Komi, Yamalo-Nenets, Kola) may well be competitive with the West. We just need to eliminate corruption and natural laziness (in our country it is actually historical, but in the southern countries it is more likely climatic). But the rest of the regions are either rotational (without capital infrastructure, just for sucking resources), or completely subsidized (due to this very corruption and reluctance to do something). It’s these last ones that are pulling us down a lot

Russia is not Europe for the reason that they are in many ways opposite to each other.

    1. Western Europeans are mainly carriers of haplogroup R1b (more than 70%), and Russians are more than 52-53 percent R1a1, and the rest I2a, I2c + N1a1.
This can be seen from the statistics of infections and deaths from coronavirus.
So where R1b is, this virus is more deadly.
You can even watch in Germany.
The former GDR is mainly Germanized Slavs R1a1, and the former Federal Republic of Germany is already pure Germans R1b
    2. Western European civilization is based on Catholicism and other churches that broke away from the Catholics.
Eastern European civilization is based on Orthodoxy and integrated Islam and Buddhism.
    3. Western Europeans always either turn conquered peoples into their slaves and never consider them equal to themselves, or destroy them
The Russians raise the conquered peoples to their level and make them their allies.
    4. For the entire time since the arrival of their ancestors in Western Europe, Western Europeans have been aggressors and have always sought to destroy or conquer Eastern Europeans.
The last such attempt was Europe's march to the east under the leadership of Hitler.
    5. Currently, this campaign continues under the leadership of the Anglo-Saxons.
