Baltic shipyard "Yantar" resumed work in a limited mode. The minimum required staff was involved in the work. This was reported by the press service of the enterprise.
As the press service explained, the work was resumed on the most important orders, where it is necessary to carry out them. At the same time, it is specified that the minimum necessary personnel are involved in the work, which will work taking into account the special order introduced due to the coronavirus.
The decision to resume work in a limited mode was made by the plant’s management, taking into account the fulfillment of the deadlines for the key stages of the 2020 delivery program
- said in a statement.
It is emphasized that elderly people over the age of 65, pregnant women and employees with severe chronic diseases are categorically not allowed to work. Workers involved in the implementation of the necessary work are required to be provided with personal protective equipment.
According to the information provided by the Yantar press service, the company is currently working on preparations for the transfer to the Navy of the BDK project 11711 Petr Morgunov, two BDKs of the modernized project 11711 are under construction, and work continues under the Indian contract for the project’s frigates 11356.
On which specific projects work will resume, the press service of the Yantar Shipyard did not specify.
