Members of Islamic State planning terrorist attacks detained in Moscow
In Moscow, five members of the Islamic State, an international terrorist organization banned in Russia, who planned terrorist attacks, were detained. The operation was carried out jointly by the FSB and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. About it reports TsOS FSB of Russia.
According to the report, during the operation the activities of the criminal group, which included two Russian citizens and three natives of Central Asian countries, members of the Islamic State terrorist organization, who planned the attacks, were suppressed.

In the course of searches carried out at the detainees, they found means of communication with instructions from the emissaries of the terrorist organization. In addition, a improvised explosive device, a Kalashnikov assault rifle, a Makarov pistol and ammunition were seized in a caches owned by the detainees.
In relation to the detainees, criminal cases have been initiated, and necessary investigative and operational measures are being conducted. Details of the detention are not reported to the DSP.
