In Feodosia on the Shipyard "Sea" completed the construction of all three MRK project 22800

In Crimea in Feodosia at the shipbuilding plant "More" the construction of all three missile defense systems of the 22800 project (code "Karakurt") was completed. The launching ceremony of the last construction of the Whirlwind MRK took place on November 13 of this year without wide publicity.

Earlier it was reported that at the More shipyard in Feodosia, under the contract with Pella for the construction of seven ships, three RTOs are under construction: Storm (renamed Kozelsk), Okhotsk and Whirlwind. The head Kozelsk MRC was launched on October 9 on October 2019 and on October 17 began towing from Feodosia along inland waterways to the Pella head plant (Otradnoye, Leningrad Region) for completion and testing. The second RTO Okhotsk was launched on October 29.

However, in connection with the termination of navigation on the Volga-Baltic Canal from the 15 of November 2019, the Okhotsk and Vikhr RTOs were towed along the Don River to Aksai (Rostov Region), where they were put on wintering until the opening of the 2020 navigation of the year. After the ice melts, the ships will be transferred to Pella, where they will be completed.

RTOs of this project have a length of 67 meters, a width of 11 meters and a draft of 4 meters. Displacement - about 800 tons, cruising range - up to 2500 miles, autonomy - 15 days. The main armament is one UKKSK (universal ship complex) 3X14 missile launcher on the 8 KR Caliber, one 76-mm AK-176MA gun mount, ZRAK Panzir-M, two 14.5-mm or 12,7-mm machine-gun mounts MTTPU.

The ships of project 22800 Karakurt are actually replacing in the construction for the Russian Navy the MRK of project 21631 (code "Buyan-M"), of which only 12 were ordered. According to the plans of the Russian Navy fleet no less than 18 RTOs of project 22800 should be included, however, ship construction is slowed down due to insufficient production rates of M507 diesel engines for them at Zvezda PJSC.

And when they launched pr.22800, they did not know that engines were also needed.

Well, why is the answer to you:

The need of the Navy for diesel engines М507Д should be closed by PJSC "Zvezda" and the Kingisepp Machine Building Plant. As the deputy head of the shipbuilding department of the Russian Navy, Captain I Rank Mikhail Krasnopeev, told Mil.Press FlotProm in October 2018, the Russian Navy and industrialists expect to stabilize the supply of M507 diesel engines for the ships of the fleet in 2021-2022.

Do you not know that ship diesel engines in Russia have never been produced? Previously, they were bought in Ukraine! In fact, a new industry is being created.

Somewhere there was infa, about a week ago, that after the construction of the Karakurt, the Sea shipyard will start building the Zubr class vessels .. and hydrofoil vessels, the Kometa type, two vessels are planned to be commissioned already in 2021 ...

Yes, to be honest, it doesn't matter what exactly, you just have to be specifically knocked out to believe that the plant, instead of working on the order of the existing one, will voluntarily refuse it and sit down to smoke without a salary. When work is out, it floats nearby. It is clear that they will build something there. Well, that's good! And then there - "an empty slipway, an empty slipway" ... Yes, the director of the plant would have grabbed his teeth into the contract from the Ministry of Defense, since the option is - an empty slipway!

I will be glad to hear that “bison” have been laid on these stocks, and I will add this news by all available means. So far, I'm glad that they've completed the construction ... When we return the Nikolaev shipyards, it will be more difficult to restore there. And yes, Pella suffered losses, but the country got another shipyard.
We have something to build. Now there is where, at least the case

Yes, one passed, and the second, that there was an emergency with a slip. And the components came from Russia. Although the "svidomye" tried to sell the Russian development of the "Zubr" to the Chinese, I also don't know what came of it. Well, as always, it's easier to ditch than to repair.

when at the Klaipeda shipyard "Baltiya" fishing vessels for the Caspian flotilla were built, and then driven through inland waters to hell

Normal phenomenon, river distillation. because only along the Volga and you can get to the Caspian Sea. Shipyard "Baltiya" was a good plant, began to build type "Balagoe" for MRH SRT, then they switched to BMRT 394 and 394 RM millers (the last two 185 and 186 were received for JSC "Ocean" in 1975). Then came the PST "Barents Sea" and "Moryany" for the Caspian Sea. A lot was built for the fishermen. The floating docks were also launched more than a dozen. At the end, dry cargo ships were already being built. Since 2010, the plant was bought by Fedya Berman from Tallinn, as well as I Western Shipyard. It was a good plant in the USSR.

Well, how does it not change? Previously, as you yourself write, at first a ship was completely built at a factory in one part of the country, and then it was distilled to a consumer in another part of the country.
And now one plant in the territory of another builds a building, and then drags it to its completion through the entire European part of the country. And I won’t be surprised if then the ready RTO goes back to KChF. smile

It is troublesome to write the same thing a hundred times, but then I have not passed by. By the way, what is BMPD?
I am an employee of SZ "More", for about two years I was transferred (like most of the personnel) to "Intro Pella" for the construction of MRK 22800. According to the original plan, the ships were to be fully built and handed over to the customer at our plant.
If I remember the timing table correctly, the first one should have entered the fleet almost now. The second and third in the next (until the end of the twentieth year, that is). After that, Pella's rent ends, everyone is drinking champagne and launching fireworks for the New Year!
After that ... There are several options for the development of events, but in general, everything remains with its own interests.
However, something went wrong earlier this year. It turned out that dvigla should not be expected in the foreseeable future, and the plant will not be given to Pella. And they pass it on to Rostec. The President personally announced this. In mass media.
Hence the conclusion - "Pella", in principle, will not have time to finish its ships here (more there until '25 the dates have been shifted). And her darling's rent dries up at the end of '20.
That's the whole "calico". That's the whole "squiggle". hi

You can see how Europeans build the Airbus A380. Here is a bit:
In order to arrange the delivery of parts, roads were expanded, new channels were built. The fuselage sections are loaded in Hamburg on the ship Ville de Bordeauxru, which then leaves for the UK. The British cities of Filton and Broughton were chosen as the place of production of the wing consoles.

the shipyard was liberated - badly, the hull was done - badly (in order to make a fortune they will always find a reason, for the sake of justice - it always exists), I am sure that we will solve all problems, if there is a proposal to solve them - offer it.
