The Russian Ministry of Defense is completing the re-equipment of the missile brigades of the Ground Forces from the Tochka-U missile system to the Iskander-M operational-tactical missile system (OTRK). The latest Iskander-M missile system will go into service this week. This was reported by the press service of ZVO.
According to the report, the missile brigade of the Western Military District will be re-equipped with a new missile system, having received the brigade kit of the Iskander-M OTRK. The ceremony will be held at the Kapustin Yar training ground in the Astrakhan region.

According to available information, the 448th missile brigade of the 20 Combined Arms Army stationed in Kursk will be the last rearmament from Tochka-U to the Iskander-M OTRK - the only ZVO complex equipped with Tochka-U complexes .
