Not so long ago, the pages of "Military Review" was published news that Russia shares with China the technology of a missile attack early warning system. This news was originally voiced by Vladimir Putin at a meeting of the Valdai Forum.
This information has generated mixed reviews from experts and members of the public. Some believe that this is contrary to Russia's national security interests, while others are sure that this will deepen partnership with China and interact to reduce external risks.
To date, two countries of the world have missile attack warning systems. These are the Russian Federation and the USA. Now, in the case of the implementation of Russian-Chinese interaction, a similar system may appear in Beijing.
Experts believe that with the help of Russia, the Chinese will be able to create their own missile attack warning system (SPRN) within 5-7 years. Without Russian help, the process would have dragged on for decades. Moreover, Russian assistance to China in this regard will allow China to save a whopping sum of up to 100 billion dollars.
Some of the details of China’s future NPRS in its engagement with Russia are in the video on sonar2050’s YouTube channel, where technology transfer is called “a royal gift from China to China.” The present is truly generous; I would like the road to not turn out to be a one-way road.
