The latest 20380 project corvette launched

71
The latest corvette of project 20380 has become one step closer to the transition under the wing of the Russian fleet. At the Amur Shipbuilding Plant, a ceremony was held for staging the ship in the outbuilding dock. It is reported by the TV channel "Star».

Russia continues to replenish its fleet with new ships. In Komsomolsk-on-Amur, the ship of the near sea “Hero of the Russian Federation Aldar Tsydenzhapov” was introduced from the slipway workshop and transferred to the outfitting dock.

"Aldar Tsydenzhapov" refers to the corvettes of the 20380 project. They are classified as multipurpose combat surface ships of the 2 rank of the near sea zone. At the same time, NATO considers the 20380 project too large for corvettes, and defines them as frigates.

20380 project corvettes were developed by Almaz design bureau. Currently, the Russian Navy has six ships of this series. 4 of them serve in the Baltic Fleet, two more in the Pacific Fleet. The new ship should be the third in the Pacific Fleet.

The features of the ships of this project are compactness, stealth, a high percentage of systems automation. The 20380 project actively applies the principle of modular architecture. This approach allows to reduce production costs and increases the modernization potential of the ship in the future. The ship can carry Ka-27 anti-submarine helicopter.

"Hero of the Russian Federation Aldar Tsydenzhapov" is to join the Pacific Fleet in 2020 year.

      Good news.
About the name of the ship and Hero of the Russian Federation:
On the morning of September 24, when the entire crew of the destroyer “Bystry” was on board and preparing for a combat expedition from Fokino to Kamchatka, a fire broke out in the engine room of the ship due to the short circuit of the electrical wiring at the moment of breaking through the fuel pipeline. Aldar, who took up his duties as the driver of the boiler team, immediately rushed to block the leakage of fuel. For about nine seconds he was at the center of the fire. After fixing the leakage, he was able to get out of the compartment covered by the flame, having received severe burns. Operational actions of Aldar and his colleagues led to the timely shutdown of the ship's power plant, which otherwise could explode and cause powerful damage to the destroyer, which was about 300 people.

      From the wiki info.
Sorry for the kid, he was young at all. But, at the age of 19, he knew the engine / boiler room, the location of the valves ... Oriented on the spot. Heroes are not born, they become heroes. Everlasting memory.

These are the wet dreams of a journalist. Their corvettes (in the USA and NATO) have a displacement almost like our frigates, and frigates (modern) have a displacement of 1 - 000 tons more than that of the Gorshkov.
Displacement of 1800 tons. Standard and 2220 tons. Full.
        Which frigate?

It was the Frenchman and the German that I had in mind. And in terms of armament, they (at least the Frenchman) have a reserve - i.e. Fuss less than he can - expensive. But the Germans have sharpening their armaments for air defense, as in the rest of the British - the division of functions among NATO members, the Americans have striking potential, and the Europeans provide them with air defense ships.
Our ships are trying (and have always tried) to arm them to the maximum with both shock and defensive weapons. Although 20380 has only 8 pieces. light X-35 (half the size of the modernized "Lightning").

And this with an autonomy of 15 days, limited seaworthiness and a price like that of the Black Sea frigates ... or even more expensive. They would have in the UVP (UKSK) rocket-torpedoes from the "Caliber" series and guard the approaches to the bases ... But the boat was too expensive, it was irrational. With such a displacement, the air defense system would be simpler for him and the maximum sharpening in specialization for PLO ... and add autonomy.
And it’s best to make a PLO frigate (with a good HACK) on the basis of the Black Sea frigates — and it would cost no more than these corvettes, and seaworthiness would be satisfactory, and autonomy two to three times higher.
But what is laid down must certainly be completed and put into operation.

So calm is a step back in fact. And he will not decide anything. There is also a problem with radar, not missiles.
There, the hull is identical to the 20380 serial (12 cells for zuru and no UKKS) - but the mast was taken from 20385 with fixed radar blades. That allows you to remove the problems with target designation for any fast-flying and complex goals. In the basic project, the individual SOC of the air defense system was allotted to this - therefore, Furke was sufficient. However, after the head they decided to put another air defense system, which does not have its own SOC - and here Furke has already become insufficient.

      With photo? Conditionally serial.
After Kasatonov (the second frigate of this project) there will be a pause. The head of the plan until the end of the 21 of the year - but in reality it is 22. Isakov + 1,5 of the year.

Or with the news? Everything is complicated here, this is the head 20380 with a new mast (fixed radar blades - which will finally close the needs for normal operation of the Redoubt air defense system). At the same time, Sharp at the Pacific Fleet and Strict and Retivny at the Northern Shipyard are built in the same person. No new bookmarks are planned.

In total, there will be an 1 head corvette (in its person), 3 of the same type of Baltic and 2 of the Pacific Rocket - with problems in the radar (Furke was not intended to act as SOC for SAMs - in the basic architecture there was a different air defense system with its SOC and therefore Furke was considered sufficient) and 4 is finally a fully functional and combat-efficient corvette (2 + 2). Total 10 pieces.

Further 2 more powerful 20385 with a price tag from the frigate.

And in connection with the modernization of 1155, pottery

No way. Firstly, there is no reliable information about why this 1155 is domodernized; for example, what kind of air defense will be there. Secondly, it is not clear how many of 1155 will undergo modernization at all. There are still questions with the restoration of the technical readiness of the turbines. And most importantly, their further service life is limited. Gorshkov’s future fleet, and at the moment has no alternative.

5 years to build a ship ?! Well this is a shame!

And if you swear, then I won’t go anywhere! © smile
Seriously though, 5 years to build a plant is progress. The very first 20380 at the Far East ("Perfect") at the ASZ was built from 2006 to 2017. The second ("Loud") - from 2012 to 2018 (handed over "under the ribbon").

God forgive me, but who comes up with such names?! .. belay
This question does not leave me. Show me this man! ..
In August, we launched the first A40, I didn’t even try to remember its name (there, in honor of some heroic accountant, some kind of heroic service). It’s easier and more clear to me-510 order.
In two weeks we will lower the second-511th. I’m afraid to imagine how the yon will be officially called ...

It is interesting whether it is planned to lay a new ship of project 22350 or 22350M on the shipyard. Series 22380 will be completed by / in 2022, Karakurts by / in 2024. In order to do something by 2025/26 (and the construction time is 7 years), you need to lay something right now

    All b norms ..
but on TV the maximum speed upset me - only 27 knots.
It’s like I’m not a moraine at all, but such speed seems to me not enough ..
at least 35 knots maximum speed ..
and tone 27 does not catch anyone ... in submarines, the speed of underwater speed and then more than 27 knots happens.
although everything is determined by the tasks

When will a reputable site stop publishing articles with fake photos, and scribblers still preoccupy with the search for real photos?

They forgot that the Pacific Fleet is the Red Banner.

The new ship should be the third in the Pacific Fleet.
The right and worthy decision, because the Hero of Russia sailor Aldar Tsydenzhapov served at the KTOF in b. Shooter, and died - the Kingdom of Heaven is - saving the comrades, and the corpus itself.

That's good. The Russian fleet needs new multipurpose ships like air.
