The hopes of the ultra-liberal masses for Russia's cosmic failure did not materialize. At the appointed time for the retry, the Soyuz MS-14 spacecraft successfully docked to the International Space Station.

Roscosmos showed the successful docking of the Soyuz MS-14 with a robot on board the ISS

Recall that this space flight attracts attention due to the fact that the Fedor robot (aka Skybot F-850) is on board the Soyuz.

The docking of the Soyuz with the ISS is reported by the press service of Roscosmos Corporation.

The docking with the Zvezda module occurred in 06: 08 Moscow time in normal mode. The crew completes the operation to open the hatches between the Soyuz and the station.

From the message of Roscosmos:

The Soyuz MS-14 spacecraft delivered about 670 kg of dry cargo: scientific and medical equipment, components for the life support system, as well as food containers, medicines and personal hygiene products for crew members.

Recall that the first docking attempt failed. The reason is considered to be undocked another spacecraft.
Numerous tests are planned on board the ISS Robot "Fedor", including its use in aggressive environments.

The docking was broadcast by the Russian Space Agency with 5: 45 Moscow time.

Well so, anyway, from 2020 of the year, our Unions are losing the monopoly of taxis, and obedient Europeans are switching to American flights to the ISS. So, in the spring of 20, the liberals will be ecstatic from the Western world. And right, so what, that on the streets of California there were more homeless people, syringes and typhoid appeared? Key industries continue to be the vanguard of the West. And already Hollywood will cover the picture with the thinner middle class of the USA from the time of 90's and the beginning of zero.

In general, the reason for the non-reconnection of another ship looks strange. The spacecraft should dock to any module. In any case, Fedyu is with the first success. Yes, and those who control it.

The ship was manually re-docked with the crew on board, to a node with a faulty proximity system device where Fedya could not dock, after which the union without crew with Fedya on board docked to the vacant node with a working proximity and docking module.

So the point is not in the Soyuz MS-13 re-docked ship as indicated in the article, but in the faulty rapprochement module at the docking station at the station, which caused the garden to be fenced ...

"Information agency" Interfax "cites a statement by the expert in the field of astronautics Ivan Moiseev."

Apparently this .... expert cannot distinguish "Soyuz" from "Progress". Like some commentators here laughing

The Soyuz has a CA - Lander. He descends to Earth and lands. So there can be no question of any "flooding in the ocean". The main task for this test flight, namely the development of the SAS at the Soyuz-2.1a, has been completed. There was an additional one - delivery of goods to the station. If they refuse to dock, they will simply land the ship's SA in Kazakhstan.

But. The failure occurred not on the ship, but in the Kurs-P system on the Search module. The system is not new and, like any radio engineering system, it can fail over time. The module was delivered to the station almost 10 years ago. Previously, a similar system was produced in Kharkov. Where a specific copy of this was produced is unknown, or rather it was not advertised in the media. In Russia, a new digital radio-technical system "Kurs-MKP" has already been tested and is being prepared for launch, the active element of which "Kurs-NA" has long been installed on the "Soyuz MS" is cured of "childhood" diseases and works great.

Tomorrow, the Soyuz MS-13 crew will practice with manual re-docking. Then he will transfer his ship to the "Search" module manually (red arrow). And in its place, where the Kurs-P system is in order, the Soyuz MS-14 will dock (white arrow):

This is the question. The service life of the ISS is being extended, but the service life of the equipment ... There is a replacement for this position - "The Kurs-MKP acceptance tests were successfully completed at the end of last year, and now the manufacturer is ready to provide on their basis a reliable docking with the Russian segment of the ISS as manned and cargo spaceships ". https://topwar.ru/152243-otkaz-rossii-ot-uslug-ukrainy-po-stykovochnym-sistemam-novejshij-kurs-mkp.html. And on other nodes ... again articles and a bunch of comments ... if the ISS is left after 24 years ... I hope that there is a replacement for other positions

Not another ship! - but a malfunction in the "Kurs-P" system installed in the "Search" module where the MS-14 was supposed to dock! Because of this, I had to mess around with redocking ...
